I just moved into the area and I am shocked at the condition of this store. The Mgr and employees have no pride or sense of urgency to get the store clean. Mdse everywhere including the floors. A total mess and Dollar General should be ashamed to allow this store to look like this. I will be sending pics to corporate.

This store is the absolute worst for being clean, and having everything put where it needs to go!!! You can not walk through the isles without having to push merchandise out of your way. When you go to check out you either have to wait in line for a good while or you have a angry cashier there is hardly ever an in between. If the self checkout is working you can't get to it because the other and only line open is lined up around isles to check out. Multiple people have complained but nothing is ever done.

The store is very hot. The heater is on and they don't have anyone that knows how to turn the air conditioner on. Looks like someone is not doing their job.

It's Dollar General. There always low on stock and employees. There's alwsys a sense of walls closing in due to shelves being cluttered and unorganized. Maybe it's just my opinion on the store that's literally on every corner but they do sell some cool things to decorate with and not for a bad price. So gotta take the good with the bad and remember don't be in a hurry when stopping in because you'll most likely be here longer than planned. About 4 trips ago to the one in Burnside the line was forever long there air conditioner was broke and it was hot outside but sizzling inside, company that with others in close proximities hands and arms loaded with that just here for 1 thing and the lady at the register thinking she's the only 1 there with the 1 loan employee who's trying to remain professional when you know his insides was just a sizzling. 🔥🌡

I do love our local dollar store closest to home. They're always friendly, helpful, clean & more organized than other Dollar Generals I've been inside. My daughter absolutely loved the new $1 pooping unicorns they have at the front of our store.

Only reason I didn't put 5 stars is because management don't think they need more then one register opened at once. They're so many times in running late and have to stop there and I'm in line buying two items waiting for 30 minutes. The employees are always super sweet. They are keeping it stocked and cleaned as best as they can.But now when I get the opportunity to I will stop at any other store then the DG in science hill.

The store smells bad. Really bad. You can't get through the aisles because they have all there restock carts everywhere! I will no longer shop at this Dollar General. I'd rather drive the 10 extra minutes to go to the one in Eubank. This store is unkempt and corporate really needs to do something about it. You can't even shop in there its such a mess!!

Absolute mess and chaos. You can't move through the aisles for things in the floor. An insurance nightmare. Could easily fall over items. Dirty floors even when the doors open at 8. Management should never let employees go at night until floor is cleaned up. And speaking of management apparently she has to bring her kids to work with her which is understandable right now since they can't go to school but at least have them to sit still somewhere and not play ball in the store knocking things off the shelves. And they shouldn't be playing with the pricing guns either. Science Hill needs a Dollar General with good employees this one isn't it.

The worst Dollar General. Always dirty, empty shelves, and "stock" in every aisle. If you can skip it, I'd go anywhere else. Everyone I know has complained about how bad the store is and nothing gets done. Self-checkout is closed and there is always a line of people at the one open register. For shame DG.

It's alright for picking up something you forgot on your weekly Walmart trip. Pricing is ok on most things, it's not big enough nor cheap enough to be a main source of food and goods.This store in particular seriously suffers staffing issues and has for years. It’s not uncommon to find one cashier handling an entire store full of people. The self checkout alleviated congestion but keeps breaking down.The other glaring issue is that things go out of stock quick and there’s no telling when it will be back. Constantly full of stocking pallets in the aisles and boxes littered around.I didn’t realize how bad it was until I stopped in DG stores elsewhere in the area. They’re fine.

They need more employees there store in never clean or stocked and always out of what I need. Sell items never ring up right and the employees they do have definitely don't go any extra for the customers you definitely feel as though you're inconveniencing them if you ask anything or even walk into the store for that matter. I have decided after my last visit since I'm not worth a price check for an item that was not marked that I'll drive the extra miles to as different$ store. 👎👎👎👎

It always sucks. I personally try not to shop there.. I'm damn near 60 year's old and they wont sell me cigarettes without an I,D. Perposterous oh well 2 thumbs down.

Overall pretty decent for a quick stop. The store is sometimes a mess and can be a few minutes to get checked out. Bathrooms are clean and usually the store clerks are friendly.

The place was a disgusting mess. The guy at the counter was eating some kind of hot pocket while checking me out. And the counter looked liked it had not been cleaned in a month.

They have a lot of things in the store they're very friendly and reasonably priced their dollar aisle is wonderful you'll have to check it out sometime they always have things in season and have sales all the time clothes that I paid $85 for at Kroger they had on sale for $10 check them out sometimes they also have coupons on the receipts and calling and fill out one of their surveys you have a chance to win gift card plus you get another coupon on some of them that requires their survey to be filled out for the next time you go in have a great day

How about stock more mellow yellow if u are going to continue to sell it all to small independent stores so they can mark it up 75% to resell to us. Hardworking folks.

Nice store but needs a dedicated stock person instead of them having to run to the register so silly you can only save so much.

Dollar General I went to is pretty close to where I stay.(walking distance as well) So I tend to stop there often on my way home from work, instead of going out of my way to a market

This dollar store is never well stocked or organized..got people working that don't seem to care.Needs some real management and shelves stocked at night when closed so it will be available for customers.

Very crowded.. Had to move there stock around to get items.. Had to wait 20 minutes to check out due to only one register open.. Every single time I've went to this store but twice I've had to wait..
