Maybe we visited this Dairy Queen in Salyersville on a bad day.. 🤔 Service was so slow that the manager gave me 5 free blizzard coupons. After waiting Forever on our To Go order we got back on the road to find that our food was literally pathetic. My BBQ chicken melt wrap was barely rolled with contents falling out... milkshake was melted.. but the worst was my son's grilled chicken sandwich.. picture below.. literally two cut pieces of chicken with bacon. 😲😖 I never complained the whole Twenty Minutes I was there waiting on our order for the three of us. Was very polite and understanding. Had I not been in a hurry I would've turned around and went back to Return the pitiful sandwich. Sorry for such a bad review.. but I would hate for this to happen to someone else. As for the employees. Cashier was nice. He was new.. teenager.. but learning. Joked with customers and was always smiling and polite. I really hope this Dairy Queen will improve. It's a popular stop at the beginning of the Mountain Parkway.

They have the best blizzards on earth as well as Chicken Strip Baskets, the breakfast is as good as your mama's was when you was a kid. I insist on trying a BLT, its probably my favorite item on the menu.

If you have the choose between this place and somewhere else for breakfast go somewhere else. I order a chicken and biscuit only I got a chicken biscuit gravy. That's not what I ordered. They took it back. Then they gave me a half of a chicken strip on a biscuit. I guess I was lucky to get that because they hadn't even started on remaking the sandwich until I walked up to the counter and ask if my sandwich was ready. They seem to be more about talking the waiting on the customer.

I purchased two blizzards and paid for extra toppings. Both blizzards lacked hardly any toppings at all. When I told the workers of my problem they laughed and said "yes they do." $10 for two medium blizzards that were not even fixed correctly is a ripoff!!! Never again! Extremely rude staff and poor service.

If it would let me give 0 stars 🌟 I would. Probably the worst DQ I have ever ate at, unfortunately in our town there are very few options of restaurants to choose from, but DQ is the worst by far. You ask for a plain hamburger and get one with everything on it, you ask for a hot fudge sunday, you get a chocolate sunday, ask that they write something on your cake after they reassure the manager they can do it, and it looks like a toddler wrote it. My husband is making a second trip to town because he told them he wanted 4 plain bacon cheeseburgers, they put everything on all 4 of them and reassured him they were pain before he left. We went there one night after using our American express to pay for ice cream the day before, and the guy in the drive through tells us they don't take amex because he doesn't know how to work the credit card machine? Like seriously the food would be halfway decent if the employees would just try to do there jobs.. How hard can it be to assemble a Hamburger or work a credit card machine. I will never ever go back, it is absolute garbage, and we will never EVER give you our business again.. I plan on telling everyone about the crappy service that Dq Salyersville offers.

Stopped in to get a Blizzard while passing through the area. Service was good. The Blizzard was good. I was only there for a few minutes, but had no complaints. I'd gladly stop again.

If you need some comfort food or fast food with milkshakes or banana splits this is your go to. Also, try their tangerine swirl I have been eating it for 20 years you wont be disappointed
