We used Ruff Life Resort during the 1st week of April 2024. We have 2 pit Terrier mixes who each weigh about 70 lbs and have very distinct personalities. I was very nervous to leave them in all honesty as we have only kenneled them once before and it was not the best experience.Our 2 babies do not play well with others, need to stay and sleep together as they are siblings and have been together since birth BUT can not eat together as one has food aggression. They do not like cats, and they can't have toys. Both have suffered from garbage gut several times as they eat EVERYTHING!! But they are both big babies and love cuddles and need lots of attention.All of this and Ruff Life still was happy to take them on!! They exceeded every expectation I had and than some. I can not thank them enough!! During their stay I was updated regularly and sent videos and pics!! On pick up my babies were happy!! That in itself was mind blowing because they had just weathered a storm at the facility and both are terrified of them!!We were 100% satisfied with the care they were given and will no doubt be more comfortable when summer vacation comes around!! Berry and Gustav will now stay nowhere else!!Again, thank you Ruff Life for treating them like family!! I would recommend anyone who has a beloved 4 legged baby who needs care give them a call!!

Always feel comfortable leaving my precious dogs with these ladies. My dogs are always excited to go to daycare and also boarding! Holly and the girls are AWESOME!! (Holly at the daycare took that picture and inserted the cutest backgrounds! They LOVE all their fur babies!)

We have 4 dogs, a registered German Shepherd, a border collie mix, a pit bull mix and a pitsky. Our dogs are like family, and I never have boarded them as I am too picky and worry. However, we had to make a 5 day trip and could not take the dogs and my normal dog sitters were not able to schedule a full 5 days.I was distressed to board our dogs but had no choice. Since I had heard wonderful things about Ruff Life, I called to tour their facilities in Russellville. It was very nice and clean! A month advance of the trip, I took the dogs in for 4 hours of daytime boarding to get used to the place. I think this helped them a lot get to know the wonderful staff and spotlessly clean facilities in advance of their 5 day overnight stay. The big week came and I cried to leave them and the staff was super caring and assuring. They sent me photos and videos every single day! I would call every day to check on them and the staff was supportive. It was wonderful to feel that support! On pick up day the dogs were happy and excited to come home. They washed the dog blankets and their bowls shiny clean, and we wanted baths too so the dogs smelled fresh and clean. We highly recommend Ruff Life in Russellville Ky. Because of the great success and welfare of the dogs, we already scheduled two more boarding stays later this year.

My dog spent a week at The Ruff Life Resort recently, and they took great care of him. He gets excited when we arrive because he knows there will be other dogs to play with there! The excellent and friendly staff treats him like one of their own, so I have peace of mind while I’m away. The Ruff Life Resort is the best!

LOVE the ladies at Ruff Life. So kind and caring. We NEVER worry when our 2 chocolate labs board there. They are also amazing for day care to let your fur baby meet new friends and play, while being supervised.I would give them 100 stars if I could.

Everyone at the Ruff Life Resort treat my pets like they were their own. I've been going to them for many years, they took great care of my Snowball ( bischon poodle) until her death at 16 years old. They still see two other house dogs every 6 weeks or so and I don't know what I would do without their service. I truly feel lucky to have them as my groomers.

We were a little nervous leaving our two beagles, Rico and Napoleon, for the first time while we went out of time but we had nothing to worry about! We loved that we could call and check on them anytime, we got updates with the cutest pics, and when we picked them up they were so happy! Plus they were fresh and handsome with their bath and trimmed nails! We will definitely be back with our pups if we’re out of town again. Thank you for taking such good care of our puppies!

We’ve been bringing Ellie to Ruff Life for daycare and boarding for over 7 years. We could not be more pleased with the care they give her and the love they show her and us!! Ellie’s ears always perk up when we say daycare and she thinks all roads lead to Ruff Life! So thankful for this home away from home for her and the peace we feel when she is there! The ladies at Ruff life Resort take such good care of my pup. My hyper active dog loves to be at this facility. The staff told me that my dog has made so many friends, and that she likes to sunbathe. They take very good care of Iris.

Love the Ruff Life Pet Resort! We are picky about who we trust with our two dogs and are totally at ease when they’re at Ruff Life. We have used The Ruff Life to care for our fur babies for the last 2 years! They take great care of our dogs - being careful to give our older dog some outdoor time without the young pups (because he dislikes the energy) and making sure our younger dog has all the social time she craves! The ladies love on our babies and treat them as their own. We recently lost our older dog and they were so comforting!

NEVER AGAIN!! We used this boarding establishment when it was Home Away From Home and loved it so I didn’t hesitate making reservations but this is NOT the same business!! The manager made the comment they are the same just name change and new paint…yeah NO!! This place is filthy and the workers not friendly. I called two times to check on our two little dogs so they had the opportunity to tell me about what happened with our little Jack Russell terrier’s nose (I am posting a picture)….no mention of him being injured during calls or at pick up.Our other dog as we were walking out reaches down to eat a thrown up cat hairball. There were flies swarming all around in the reception area. Place smelled like dog urine upon entering and the counters were covered with cat fur.I paid and gave a tip before seeing or receiving our dogs on pick up. Holly and her staff are wonderful.This was the first time our bigs girl have ever been boarded anywhere. The care and love they received while there gave us a piece of mind while we went out of town.The facility is clean and you can tell they take pride in what they do .They also offer bathes and grooming. I highly recommend those services. Our girls got pampered while there. They smelt and felt amazing.We have already pre-booked our next trip.She also will send pics while they are in her cate. My girls looked happy and loved.Thank you again, for caring for our babies.

We left our Bella girl with them for a week. She has never been away from us for that long of time and they made the process so smooth. It was great that they updated me throughout the week with pictures and videos. I can strongly say that we will be back for kenneling and grooming. "I can not begin to tell you how amazing this place is! It has been nothing but a blessing to my dogs and me. They get groomed, stay at daycare and board here. Casey, Frankie, and Holly go above and beyond their job. I never have to worry about my dogs after I drop them off because I know they are well taken care of. Our dogs love The Ruff Life Resort! They are so good and patient with them! Casey is the best groomer we have ever had and always makes our golden doodle and mini American shepherd look so cute. We were so nervous boarding our dogs the first time, but they loved it. It gave us such peace of mind knowing our dogs were in good hands. We always highly recommend this place to all of our friends. I was extremely nervous about socializing my new puppy but wanted to choose a local place so I could take her more often for “play dates”. The ladies at Ruff Life are nothing short of amazing. We have been going there for 3 years now and my dog gets so excited when I tell her we are going. They make it feel like I’m dropping her off with family and they seem to love her almost as much as I do!!! We have utilized their boarding services and grooming as well. Both are just as amazing as the daycare. I cannot say enough good things about this company and the care they provide for my dog and will continue to take her there as long as they are operating.

We have been boarding with Ruff Life (formerly home away from home) for about 5 years. These are great folks that are always happy to see our dog and take good care of him. We've had situations come up, special needs during a stay, and they have been flexible and able to work with us. Also they can somehow get our dog (who hates water) to be calm for a bath. He always comes home happy and clean

My Oakley loves going to day care here. He is a rescue and is very timid at times but he has never been that way at Ruff Life Resort. The staff is always so welcoming and friendly! We love them and love the way they treat their animals there!
