We are trying to drain roof water away from our house's foundation, temporarily, until we can have a contractor with a trencher bury the drain tiles out of sight. The 4" drain tiles at Lawless-Smith did not have the larger female end I really needed. I had to cut off the inside connector sleeve so water won't run out of the joint of two 10' drain tiles.

DO NOT buy appliances from there!!! Been waiting over a month for the service tech to fix my dishwasher, and he has NEVER even called to set up an appointment. Even went back and told them, and still nothing. If they can't service what I've bought off them, I won't ever buy anything else from them.

Wish I had his name, went In to get a wax ring for a toilet and after repeating what I was looking for twice he mocked me right in front of everybody then proceded to have a horrible attitude the whoke time. Last time I go there.

Just lost my business. I’m sure it doesn’t matter to them, but if the employees (4, possibly 5) can stand around socializing rather than taking the necessary few minutes to wait on a customer and make them feel like they appreciate their business, then they don’t deserve mine.Not only did the person waiting on me never stop talking with the others there, when I put my small purchase in the bag (which he didn’t even bother to do), I forgot one item. As I turned to leave I was asked, “don’t you want this?” (The only conversation directed at me.). When, in my frustration I took the item, they all laughed.Pitiful.

Bought paint here and sadly didn't like it. It had a pink tint. They offered to remix but would not take it back. I'm stuck with 25 gallons. Expensive mistake.

Walked in to buy a echo cs590 Timberwolf chainsaw and bought the one I wanted with the 20" bar. Person running the desk didn't pay me much attention til I asked the price between the one with the 20' & 24" bar and chain. Needless to say they did have what I went to buy and after returning another time for more ethanol free fuel they was more stocked up with Echo and Husqvarna chainsaws so if you're looking to buy either brand they do have a wide selection of both brands. They're not much for talking but if you're patient and wait your turn they will talk to you and help you any way they can.

We own a condo at Apple Valley Resort at Lake Cumberland, and our dishwasher went out during a busy rental season. I was in the car, 8 hours away, when the guest called me. I called Lawless & Smith Appliance Center, and two days later our new Maytag was installed. I wish I could remember the name of the manager who was so patient with me, over the phone. He found exactly what I was looking for, at a reasonable price, and they took away our old dishwasher at no cost.I would highly recommend Lawless & Smith for any appliance purchase.
