This was our miniature schnauzer first haircut. I had searched around and asked around where to take him. Shih shed was highly recommended. Stephen listened to what I wanted and then gave his thoughts. Our little schnauzer came out looking just the way we wanted. Stephen was so gentle and caring towards our little puppy.

We booked our Maggie May with Ashley just the day before her earliest availability. Everything was simple to do online, with descriptions of each service they offer. Maggie did great, and we got a cute little checkout photo and summary saying how she was for them during the appointment, which was very nice to see & know before picking her up. She was in a great mood at pickup, which tells me a lot about the people at Shih Shed, because she is usually a nervous girl about grooming. Couldn’t recommend this place enough!

AMAZING EXPERIENCE! Today was my first time taking 1/3 of my dogs to see Lesli for a full grooming experience. Sadie was nervous at first but went right into Lesli’s arms and Lesli took the time to love on Sadie and talk to her to make her feel comfortable. Sadie looks great and Lesli did exactly what I asked with Sadie’s appearance. Glad I chose the Shih Shed for my babies groomer! Ask for Lesli.

Kat was absolutely AMAZING with my baby Harley!!! I have been to so many groomers trying to find the right fit for my sweet boy. From the moment we walked in, we both felt so comfortable and I instantly knew we were in really good hands! He smells INCREDIBLE and the groom was perfect! Harley was absolutely in LOVE with his groomer Kat! He did not even want to leave her once it was time to go! 10/10 recommend and we will for sure be back! So the owners and staff at this place are unable to handle criticism. Lesli screwed up badly yesterday and instead of dealing with it head on, ran into the back like a coward. This is the same girl that double charged us last visit and when it was brought to her attention, she emphatically said that it was impossible only to eventually be corrected by a co worker. Also the same girl who quit grooming our dogs and others a year ago to become a police officer only to quit that ambition as well and go back to grooming. This was actually a great decision as she would have been a horrible LEO as she runs from instead of to confrontation.I would highly recommend that if you are looking for a new groomer, keep looking. As they admitted yesterday, and as all other negative reviews have stated, they have issues keeping appointments. The owner is no better as there was no attempt to correct the situation other than to hang up on me when I called, and delete and block all of my comments on their Facebook page. Don’t trust the reviews, they pick and choose which reviews to keep. Very shady.Update: as evidenced by the reply of this “professional” business, their first instinct in resolving an issue is to block, hide, lie, refuse service, and character smear. The owner was never met with as he was either hiding with Lesli in the back or absent and has no first hand knowledge of what transpired. Again, not a “professional” person and in fact, Lesli called my wife later, apologizing, again, for yet another mess up created by her and actually had the nerve to insult my wife by asking her if she “feels safe around her husband because he has obvious anger issues and could be dangerous” and then threatened to press charges for defamation. News flash, honesty is not defamation. Lesli is cowardly, irresponsible, lying, and deceitful and should not ever be employed in a position of public interaction. As an owner, the “guy??” who owns the place should actually gather facts before jumping to conclusions so as such, is just as incompetent as his staff.This whole issue was never meant to escalate to the point it has but when a business is confronted about their mess up, and they habitually lie, block, blame, and refuse customer service, they need to be dragged across the coals.

Jaide has groomed my oldest boy Charlie since he was a baby and just started with our new dog Kuda. They are both doodles. Jaide is amazing. She does a wonderful job. She has groomed for us for 4 years and we aren't going anywhere else!! Pics of 2 sleepy boys for tax!

The Shih Shed goes above and beyond! Our pup is deaf and a little nervous in grooming situations but everyone at the Shih Shed has always taken such good care of her! It is evident all of the groomers love dogs.

Took out mini golden doodle this morning of 6 months of age and never been groomed and was matted and jade took more then fabulous care of him! Really a whole new looking dog! Couldn’t be more pleased with the service and the pricing! Will definitely be getting my service from now on!

The Shih Shed exceeded all my expectations. Having a timid rescue baby with no history of grooming made me very apprehensive. The staff at the Shih Shed was patient and gentle. They took their time to make Joe Diffie feel comfortable and safe. He came out looking pretty spiffy too! I would definitely recommend the Shih Shed. It is obvious they enjoy their work and treat your fur babies like their own.

Requesting and Setting up the appointment was super easy online. The appointment was confirmed quickly and made for the same week. My standard poodle looked great when she came out! It took about three and a half hours which was to be expected because she was rather dirty. Will be returning. Cost was average for grooming a large dog. I love the fact they offer discounts for puppy’s to get them used to grooming.

I’m very picky with who I let groom my baby but I did not worry about her when I dropped her off for her second spa day at the shih shed. They are very kind and are great with my anxious 10 year old cocker spaniel. She comes out looking beautiful!

The process of scheduling an appointment and payment was very easy online. I appreciate the attentiveness! My dog can be a heathen of a nervous wreck.. but I can tell they took good care of her while she was there and she looks so pretty in her lil bandana they gave her!!
