Natural aquariumZ is by far the best place to purchase fish in Richmond. The owner of the store was extremely kind and immediately welcomed us into his shop with a smile. After we browsed his stock for a while, the owner asked if we had any questions. Being new fish owners, we had a lot of questions like what size tank do we need, how many fish can we put in each tank size, and what fish will go well together? The owner answered all of our questions with great knowledge and even gave us a discount for buying some baby Dalmatian Molly fish. The fact that I remember the names of each of the fish we bought is a testament to the helpfulness of the owner. We had a fun experience buying our fish at Natural aquariumZ. Also, the fish at Natural aquariumZ are not cheap and do not die quickly like fish you might buy at a supermarket. Weeks later, our fish are still extremely energetic and lively. The baby Dalmatian Molly fish are even growing!

Store was nice, happy to see a store taking an interest in live plants and some more niche freshwater fish. Off to a great start, and I'll be really interested to see how things progress. I bought a Vallisneria Spiralis, and got a good deal on a healthy plant that had produced two or three runners from the pot.

Store was clean and well organized, staff was friendly and knowledgeable, and even offered to order species of fish I was interested in that they didn't currently have in stock. Prices were fair, and all the fish appeared to be in good health. I can't wait to see how far this store will go, I'm eagerly awaiting for them to expand their inventory when they are able (my bird-obsessed 10yr old says they need to carry some feathered friends and supplies 🤣)

Fantastic store. Staff is friendly and incredibly knowledgeable about fish and aquarium setup. My favorite store in the area by far.

I love this place. Everyone is super nice and knowledgeable, and it’s also a really expansive store with lots of unique pets to look at. Our kids (and I) have a blast every time we go.
