Great folks. We adopted our wild child from their rescue 3 years ago. They were very thorough in making sure he was going to a suitable new home. Heard great things about the doggy daycare. He is particular with his four legged friends and only on his terms, so we haven't had him there to play.

For Paws Unleased did an amazing job deshedding and getting his dander under control on our short haired pit mix. The front desk went above and beyond when I asked about products to use at home to help his dander during the winter. She even took the time to look up the product they thought would work best for him. They really went above and beyond.

Debated on writing a review but our dog has been there three times and after this last visit I urge you to read my review. First their facility is top notch I have nothing but good things to say about the building and staff itself. I sent our dog there because I was impressed with the facility and people. The first time our doodle was there he came home after being there with kennel cough. That was a vet visit after we got home. The next time the groomer cut one of nails too short. There was a couple days of him licking his paw but no vet visit. This last time he was there a week. He came home with a fever and licking his foot almost constantly. Two vet visits and $250 later we think we have turned a corner. He has laid around the house almost a week since we got home. It was a fever and some sort of foot fungus/infection he picked up while there. I’m only one person but your dog will come home with something which leads to vet visits and bills. I would think this was normal but the only other kennel we have ever used we haven’t had the first problem when he came home. One stay was three weeks. Maybe we have just had bad luck but literally the vet bills were almost as much as the kennel costs this last time. Do with this what you want but I promise I’m not the only one coming home with a sick pet. Again great facility and people. Just makes my dog sick every time he seems to go there. Just like your kid at a daycare. Them catching something and bringing it home is just bound to happen.

Today was my boy Buddy’s first day at daycare here and he fit right in! The staff is extremely kind and personable and I really appreciated how detail oriented, organized, and clean the entire facility is ran. I loved getting a tour after dropping him off, very informative!

Omg! What can I not say good about this loving environment! We had a family reunion to attend and needed a place to board our blind/deaf 14 yr old Maltese for an extended period of time. They have been our go-to boarding facility for about seven years. We HIGHLY RECOMMEND the Owner and LIZ who did a PHENOMENAL job with separating our disabled pet and feeding him his special diet food even after we ran out! Can we say again the word PHENOMENAL? Everything from the first email requesting a booked appointment to the accidental extended stay to the care in extra food and following instructions to keep our pet separated was done with love and care. I LOVE LOVE LOVE this wonderful facility!!!

I love it. Yes, we will be back. My babies have so much fun, especially Lexie. She got this toy from them for her birthday party and she would not let go of it. Thank you so much and the hair cuts are awesome 👍👍

Would never take my dogs anywhere else for boarding. Rebecca is extremely kind and the staff as a whole is easy to work with. We have a dog that’s not so great with other dogs, and they allow him his own time by himself outside so he can enjoy his stay. Most staff know my dogs by name (and we only board 3 or 4 times a year). It’s a bit out of the way and it can get expensive, but it is worth every single penny.

The staff is friendly and very accommodating. They treat your pet like their own. We have used their grooming services and boarded our dog many times. I highly recommend them for your pet's needs.

I've sent my boy for day and boarding and I am extremely pleased 😊 he has came home happy as could be, they listened to my requests when it comes to his feeding and being in water, & their taxi service is SO handy on days I have to leave town super early. He's came home happy and very sleepy from a fun filled time both times. 5/5 he will be going back!

I was in town from Iowa with my pup to watch my daughter play volleyball at EKU. My "sitter" fell through the night before the match. I called For Paws Unleashed and they set up an account for me on the spot! The next morning when I pulled up I was immediately impressed - nice facilities! The girl at the front desk was professional, very friendly and knowing I was worried about leaving my baby girl in a strange place, very reassuring!!! The girl who took my pup to the back was awesome and said she would take extra good care of her that day!!! Before I left she came up to me and said London had already made 3 friends in day care which put me at ease. I was in and out of the office in under 15 minutes and this was my first visit ever! After the volleyball match I returned to get London. We could see her through a window and she was with all dogs her size and just hanging out with her new friends, very content! The same girl who took London back brought her up to us. She told me my baby was so sweet and I have to bring her back some time!!! The same girl was working the front desk and checked me out quickly while talking to me about the volleyball match and how my daughter did!!! To say the least, Customer Service here can not be topped!!! And then I asked how much I owed for the day. I was told: NOTHING!!! So yeah, on your first visit there is no charge!!! WHO DOES THAT??? I left a tip, and a ton of praise to everyone I encountered! If you are looking for a facility that will not just care for your pup, but also very much care about your pup (and you, the owner), you have to give For Paws Unleashed a try!!! I am coming back in October for another tournament, bringing London, and these people will get ALL of my business that weekend!!! THANK YOU!!! - London & Craig

We boarded our two dogs, a large dog (80lb) and a medium dog (50lb) for 10 days. The staff answers their phones almost immediately and is incredibly kind. We missed our flight and had to extend our boarding a day and they were so understanding. I love that there is so much activity for the dogs. They didn’t charge us extra for play time. They didn’t charge us extra for a bigger room so my dogs could sleep together. They have beds so you don’t have to bring your own. They coordinated the dogs arrival and departure so leashed dogs weren’t interacting unnecessarily. They even left a report card with info about how our dogs ate while they were there. To top it all off, the price was incredible. I can’t recommend this place enough!

Great place! Had our pupper there to be groomed and for daycare. Got her back extremely excited and ready to go home. She looked and smelled great and was wore out from playing. Wonderful staff.

I boarded my lab mix there for 6 days. I called to check on her daily and they were always so kind and patient and gave me a full report. They have so many employees and they are all wonderful! I was impressed by the tour also! Since I was boarding my dog for the first time, they gave us a complimentary day of doggy daycare so she could become familiar! A wonderful business that goes the extra mile!

Ky save / 4 paws unleashed. Seem to have alot of cats and kittens they adopt out are sick with upper respiratory or it could also possibly be herpes virus or calici virus? Theese 2 diseases have the same symptoms as upper respiratory and you can't always tell the difference. Once a cat or kitten catches theese two disease they are for life and are very very contagious to other kittens and cats. So please be aware and if you decide to adopt from Ky save / 4 paws unleashed or any animal shelter. Make sure the kitty isn't sick Sneezing , coughing or has Irritated red eyes and please always insist on having a herpes and/orCalisie virus test especially if you have a kitty already at home, And always keep your kitty separate from the new kitty your adopting for at least up to 10 days after the adoption to make sure the kitty isnt coming down with anything. Wonderful experience with my 2 dogs here! My dogs even love the place! They board your dogs, groom them, and babysit! They even come and get your dogs from your house to do whatever service you need! The staff is very knowledgeable, caring, and really nice! If you are thinking about this place for your doggies, I definitely recommend it!

This is a wonderful facility! I have taken my dog to two other dog boarding/daycare facilities previously in central KY and can say with absolute confidence, For Paws Unleashed provides the best loving care for your pets! My pup LOVES when we arrive at their facility and he's always come home a healthy, happy boy! The staff follow whatever feeding schedule you have your pet on and are very attentive to your pets specific needs.The facility itself is very clean, spacious, secure, and beautiful. If you are looking for a place to board or for daycare I cannot emphasize enough that For Paws Unleashed is the best place for your fur babies.

Our pups have stayed here many times, including our most recent visit, which was for nearly two weeks. Our pups love it there and come back tired and happy. I wouldn't trust them with anyone else!

Great people for a great price! Our dog loves it here! Whether it's grooming, daycare, or extended stay kenneling, they do a great job! Our dog is not yet neutered, and so they separate him with other similar dogs, protecting all animals involved.

My little dog stayed at For Paws for one night in August and developed a severe kennel cough. Even after the initial and a second treatment by my vet, it developed into a bronchitis. Just had X-rays taken today and am waiting for the tech to call me. Very frustrating and hard to understand.

My pups, 3 in all, shared a suite for their vaca. They must have had a good time because they are still sleeping it off. Apparently they played non-stop with all of the other campers. On the day of pickup, they had a spa treatment of bath, blow-dry, and pedicures. Benji, Skipper, and Gracie thank you very much for a fun time had by all. They also want to have a birthday party 🎉 when next their special day rolls around.I am very grateful to all of the people at For Pets Unleashed.Whitney, Berea

Very nice staff and nice facility. Unfortunately, their prices have skyrocketed astronomically. In May, 2021 I boarded 3 dogs at $18 per dog per day. In October, 2022, 2 dogs at $50 a day! They doubled their fee in one year and added a $10 per dog per day “peak season fee”, not clearly explained on the receipt. I hope my doctor doesn’t charge me an extra “peak flu season” fee this year.

They are very interested in my. Pets and when I call to check on them I may have to wait 5 minutes so they can talk to the person that is working in their area so I get up to the minute report on their actions and attitude, They took good care of my fur babies. They looked happy and healthy when they came back to me.
