I really don't like going to dollar general unless I have to. I had to get epsom salt and I had already been to a few stores I forgot it. We were on our way home I had to stop my son has to have detox baths due his mold poisoning from a local rental company. Every one I have been into is always packed. This one was no different. I know they remodeled the stores but they still are dirty too. The cashier was really friendly but she was the only one there the other 3 lanes including the other self checkout was down. My item was $2 for a 5lb bag so no expensive at all just had to wait in line 15 minutes. I really felt bad for the cashier I know she must have been very stressed out seeing the huge line of people and zero backup. Hence why I don't shop really at stores like this. I don't mind paying a bit more to see stores treating the employees better.

I stop in this location often! Isaac is ALWAYS a delight, with a warm greeting when u walk in and a thoughtful conversation starter at check out!! He isn’t really chatty, he gets u in and out...he just does it with a unique ability. He is truly an asset!! I am always pleased with the service, and the other staff is always great too!! The only “bad” thing I can say, is stock/boxes being in the aisles and blocking things at times. (However, it seems this is every DG, and not the employees fault. This is on a corporate management level, and the company should not expect the employees to have so many duties.)

This person that works there cat following me around like I was going to steal something. I'm sure they get stuff stolen all the time. But the way she made me feel and singled me out. She was standing there just watching me. I asked her if I could help her. She said no my jobs to help you I said well at the moment I don't need no help but I'll let you know. She continued to stand right beside me staring at me. I finally got irritated and left I haven't been back to that store since. I found the phone number and called corporate they said the district manager would give me a call back. And what you did. I started explaining what it happened. He wasn't even trying to hear me. He asked me. Well was you still in anything!! I replied no!! How dare you ask me something like that. He said we've had a lot of people stealing stuff lately. And hung up on me. So I've been taking my business elsewhere.

I am actually a worker at this Dollar General. We understand the need for more employees but Dollar General does not want more than two people on a shift and do not give the manager enough hours in order to put more than two people on that shift. It is very stressful as a worker but when ever you receive a receipt, there is website for customer service and you can tell Dollar General that there need to be more than 2 people on a shift. Always the place to go to to get things for the house, new decor for the season, or just a place to stop and look around. Always something new and this store is always put together pretty well. No mess to navigate through, always clean and service is always helpful!

Above average prices and just clutter everywhere you look. I have never visited a store that didn't have crowded aisles and too much product on the floors to go onto the shelves. I go here for the convenience of the location.

I got treated like a thief as soon as I walked through the door because I had a backpack. I didnt even have a chance to ask if they would like for me to leave it behind the desk. Aweful experiance. As a former employee, you dont do that.

Clean. Cashier was ehh... towards my daughter and me. It was busy though so maybe he had had a long, rough day. Lots of variety to choose from regardless of what you were shopping for.

Every time I stop here the items I need are always out of stock with bare shelves. I'm done stopping at this location it's a waste of time.

This store doesn't ever have all of their stock on the shelves and I've gone in and not been able to get a thing I need because it just simply want there. Corporate needs to pay some attention here. Oh and never leave anyone alone in your store it only makes them a target.

Asked where to find scissors after looking for 10 min in the school supply section, looked at the guy at the counter and asked where could I find scissors and the response was if they're not where you're looking we don't have them. After walking to the very next aisle lo and behold there were scissors lol. Maybe the staff should learn where things are located in the store.

The cashiers are so helpful here. Others that I have visited are rude and unhelpful. I give this store 5 stars just because the cashiers. It's hard to find people like them in this world.

The aisle are crowded and at peak times expect a long line when you check out. But, the employees are usually helpful and cheerful.

Close to work. Stop in all the time. People are nice but understaffed. They're stocking elsewhere when people are waiting to check out. Could be a security risk.

It is in a very very convenient location, instead of having too go into the city limits of Richmond, you can shop at this Dollar General,for most of your food and household needs.

It's a Dollar General cheap stuff at cheap prices. It's only popular for those who do not wish to make the trip to Wal-Mart. That's about it. Neither good or bad. Just there.
