I stopped to buy fried chicken and potato wedges for my fam supper. The chicken is extremely dry and hard. The wedges are perfect but this chicken is not edible

Love shopping here, they have the best meat around quality cuts. I do wish they had a larger supplies of other brand names on other products like coffee, tea, women's things, produce, can goods, ect: but the store is rather small so it can only hold so much. But like I said their meat is excellent. The staff is generally friendly every now and then a bad one but, you pretty much get that everywhere nowadays. Prices are a bit higher then places like Mal-Marts but your in and out fast, that's a plus. Plenty of parking and they also have Gas, Propane.

It's local, close to home... they have these donuts that I love,,, Well until I noticed the date was expired. I asked if I could get them half off or something. Manager said, oh we usually change the date & put them back out. But sure as long as they can sell them before they are bad.... blew my mind. But I could tell they was good so I still purchase. But I'm remembering that for meats & dairy items!

Looked for frozen pot pies. Didn't have any Had to settle for something else. Got some great pepper jack cheese 🧀 though!!

The meat is good, but the fruit is usually bad when we go there. Like some of the strawberry boxes have white mold on them, and I’ve found mold in the bottom of a bag of shredded cheese. And not to mention it says they close at 11 but better get there by 9:30 cause it’s lights out.

Yes they are a little expensive on certain items but the quality of service is same as if Gordon is still there. Deli always delicious with best meats in Pike County. Hometown proud of Velocity.
