For the last 2 months, I have been unable to go to the grocery store and do my own grocery shopping. I have called on the good people at Food Giant in Princeton, Kentucky, to help me with this situation. They have went above and beyond to help me, and it's so very much appreciated! I've called them with my grocery list, they gather my groceries, and they either tell me when my order will be completed, or call me and I go to the store and pick it up! They even bring my things out and put them into the truck, tell me how much the total is, and I give them the money.... The folks at Food Giant in Princeton are totally amazing and I value their help and everything else too! Id recommend them highly for all your grocery needs!I've been grocery shopping at this store for almost 16 years... The folks that work there are super nice, and they never fail to greet me with a smile and a how are you... If I need help in any way, all I have to do is wave someone down and ask. They'll get it for me or go with me to get it. The folks in the Deli are always nice and courteous.If there was one thing that I could/would change, it would be in the Deli... I buy all my Cheeses there and from time to time that's quite a lot! When I write down on paper that I would like this or that in my Cheeses and Deli meats, and want them all sliced to my preference, that's what I expect... This does not go by that agreement and that bothers me... I've finally gotten the slicing aspect of it cleared up, now if I can get the weight, such as 3 or 4 pounds, and the exact Cheese or meat that I want to pay good money for, I'll not have 1 single complaint whatsoever! LOLBut seriously, I would and have recommended Food Giant in Princeton, KY for your grocery shopping needs and wants! 💖

I Love this Place so friendly . Sometimes things are a little more expensive than the W word. But I'm good with that it's more local and a completely different atmosphere! Hometown and local!

Normally, I would give 5 stars but I'm disappointed right now. I arrived at their store at 9:45 pm since they advertise that they are open until 10pm. I was only going to grab one item and would have been in and out in five minutes, but some man was standing in the doorway blocking it and told me that they were already closed. There were still shoppers in the store. If they are not going to stay open until their designated time, then they should advertise the correct time. I used to work in retail and we would just inform the customer how much time they had before we closed. We didn't block the doorway fifteen minutes early.

WOW I knew that the deli had gotten alot better but I just bought a bag full of tator wedges holy smokes I went back to the days of Ms. Melba and the pantry...DELICIOUS! tell George and crew great job.

I was actually wanting baked beans from the deli and they had everything except, so I got mac & cheese. Store was clean and well stocked. Ladies at deli were somewhat helpful. The prices have definitely increased on everything as size has decreased unfortunately.

Always nice employees and willing to help at any moment. Can buy almost anything you need, unless it's technologies or furniture. This is where I do most of my grocery shopping, mainly because the employees and quality of the products. Never had expired food or rude employees. I give 4 out 5 only because I wish the place had a bigger variety of fresh produce, and I guess because I wish they had a wider variety of everything. And the babies diapers, wipes, formula, baby food and everything between is way too expensive.

I was at this location at 8:56 tonight. The door was locked, a worker unlocked the door to let a woman and her kids out. When asked if the store was closed she said “we close at 9:00”. Someone at this store needs to learn how to tell time and be taught not to lie to customers.

Produce selection is good for their size.Once offered to get a special item but never did.Chicken tenders, one time they were fine. Another time they were extremely tough and barely chewable. So I'd ask how fresh they are.Very low thermostat setting, so be prepared on a summer day for some serious cooling off.

The store is always clean and well organized. There is a good selection for most things. The staff is always friendly, helpful and courteous every time we have been in the store.

The store is kind of gloomy, they need to update the lights. The store needs someone to check the dates on the shelves because there was milk that was going out of date in 3 days that could have been marked down for a quick sale. I saw items in the dairy department that were out of date already by several days. Watch your dates when shopping. The people were friendly when approached, but nobody offered any help and I was from out of state. The store itself needs a remodel. 3 stars is generous....2 and a half is closer.

Each week this store has great sales on seasonal produce and canned goods...its an older store but kept as clean as a pin...Deli has meals you can choose from cooked fresh daily with at least three meats and four sometimes five veggies with a roll or cornbread muffin... prices are reasonable and wrapped tight keeping it warm...

Food giant is one of the worst grocery stores to shop in Princeton. It's not the employees that make this place awful, it's the prices that are insane. We need to wise up as a community and quit shopping here because it's convenient for our side of town and spend the extra 3 minutes to drive to rulers and pay a fair price to feed our families.

As long as you don't buy any frozen sausage from here you'll be fine. Yeh they tend to change the dates on them or leave it out too long and it got my hole family sick twice.

Kind of out-of-the-way location but that's great if you're looking to avoid the bigger crowds at places like the walmart grocery. Same standard variety as the other food giants. Good selection, decent produce, good deli, great meat department. Variety of frozen items and a nice selection of deli made desserts and such. Cashiers are always friendly and staff is helpful. One major bonus with shopping at food giant, in my opinion, is that it's one of the last grocers to still offer carry-out services. That alone makes all the difference when you're elderly, not in the best of health, have small kids, etc! Food giant also usually offers some sort of deal with Thrifty Saver Cards (you earn a stamp to go on a card, 1 per $5 spent) which is a rewards type program in which you get something in return for the money youve spent there. Example: X amount of filled saver cards gets one free turkey during thanksgiving time or 50 cents off an item with one filled card. I also love that CCHS offers $5 off the cost of a student year book with a larger filled card. It might not seem like much but every bit helps and I appreciate getting something back, most places offer no such deals.

beware. the Roasted Chickens have a lot of preservatives on them. I got hives and my joints hurt for two days... the store said they do not prepare them in store. they just heat them up. the label info was so small I needed a magnifying glass to read it and verify msg.

I had to wait for 20 minutes at the deli before a worker showed up and to top that off the deli worker was rude & refused to give me ranch for my chicken she said I’d have to pay extra for ranch after just paying $10 something for the dry chicken I just bought.

I have to put one star or it will not post, meat department is a joke, dark color meat, calling boneless rib chops, boneless rib eye's steaks, never heard of that and i have cut meat for 20 years
