This is a small Walmart that has a bad setup starting with the parking lot. Walmart has to share the parking lot with A couple more business so there is not much parking. Inside the store is small this is just a regular Walmart not a super Walmart so don’t be surprised if they don’t have everything you are looking for.

This store always seems to be well stocked. I never seem to have too much trouble to find what I need and most Associates are very friendly and willing to help if I need them. They still have several cashiers available which is nice for those who do not like to use self-checkout.

On my last trip to Walmart I was pleasantly surprised. On past visits I had shopped for the things I needed and spent more time in line than I did doing my actual shopping. This time I hurried to get my shopping finished then I had several options to check out. I had the self check out, the regular registers, but also, they had people at the customer service checking people out. There were lots of shoppers but there were plenty of checkouts too, which is rare this day and time at any store. So there were no lines in any of the checkouts. I personally checked out at the customer service and my whole visit was finished in less than 10 minutes. The store was organized and it was easy to find all the things I needed. Also there were clearly marked stickers on the floor that helped with social distancing and the flow of the store. Also it was mandatory to wear a mask inside the store. There were plenty of hand sanitizer available and sanitizing wipes that made me feel a lot more comfortable shopping amongst the covid pandemic. Walmart has made shopping during the pandemic a whole lot better. I had over all a pleasantly surprising experience and look forward to the next time I have to shop there again.

For a Walmart.... I wasn't impressed. I was needing certain foods and there was only about 10 isles and the meat I needed.... Let's just say there was only 6 doors if that. And it was in the center of the store while you got the rest of the store all around the food. This store needs more food products and less general merchandise

Only needed a couple items, So I was planning on making it a fast trip in and out so I could get on with my day. With the assistance of a helpful Walmart employee I got what I went after got in the self checkout line paid for items and back on the road to continue my day a total of 10-15 minutes in Walmart and I was on my way home with the items I needed so good trip for me

They finally fixed the self checkout registers where it's not cards only and they only ever have 2 other registers open to checkout. They are doing a lot better now since they did the remodeling and they moved everything around but it's really the only place to shop in Prestonsburg besides the dollar stores. Now they have been working to improve the store but it seems to me it's not improved but everything has been moved around and now you really can't find nothing.

Was pretty messy, only had 2 cashier's working lines backed up down the isles, stuff in the floor all throughout the store, employees holding items back for their friends(especially ball cards and highly sought after toys and electronics), just your average typical Walmart nothing really new as they're all like that from the ones I've dealt with over my 38 years of being around

I am disabled and one of there employees help me pick my stuff up off the shelves and help me at the checkout and followed me toy car and put my stuff in the car

Great place to shop. Everybody is so friendly and the store is stocked and always neat. It's not cluttered and I always find everything I need. The store has just been remodeled and it is difficult to find things. But if you use the App, you have a map showing where everything is.

I had to stop at Walmart in pikeville,ky little Ronnie and Tisha and Lisa and I had to stop to get Tisha a diaper bag and diapers and wipes I bought for for and bottle brushes and we are headed to Huntington,Va to go to the fair and tomorrow I'm spending the whole day with my granddaughter first time seeing her in person I'm enjoying every moment
