This is a great place to go for me. I get so tired of corporate grocery and this is as far from that as I could tell. Great people, great sandwiches, tons of spices, a good assortment of breads. Nice atmosphere there

A great place to visit. There homemade sandwiches are the bomb!!! Lots of good food here. Well worth the 13 miles drive in the country.Defoe is d bomb!!!! (Small community).

Very nice store! They have homemade fried pies, bread ( blueberry banana nut is delicious)!The meat at the deli is great and you get get a single fresh sandwich and a bowl of soup! Will be back! Owners very nice !

We have been to Farmstead Market a few times and we are never disappointed. There sandwiches are awesome and always so fresh.We love shopping in the store and finding so many things to buy, different types of goods that we can’t find anywhere else.Everyone is friendly and helpful. We went in the summer so it was great to be able to sit outside and enjoy looking at the scenery, we enjoyed the owners dog’s visit too.We will definitely be back many more times!!Dan & Linda

Fun store! All sorts of bulk food items including spices, candy, chocolates, yogurt covered pretzels, soup starters, canning needs, canned goods, fresh jams,chips soda, and lots more. My friend and i went there because he had heard about their Farmhouse sandwich. It didn't disappoint let me tell ya. It was made fresh in just as couple minutes, it had ham, cheese, ham, cheese and yep another layer of ham. Very filling sandwich for a great price. The store is also a deli they have meats, cheeses homemade cookies and fried pie pockets on Thursdays. There's weekly specials on a certain meat and certain cheese that changes weekly. I'll definitely return. Oh yeah, the staff there is super friendly and there's shaded picnic areas to eat at.

Stopped in for some flour for my grandma. Got a country ham sandwich that was delicious. Ate it on the porch with a golden retriever. Everyone was friendly.

We love our friends over at the Farmstead Market! They’re kind, hospitable and the fried pies are amazing! If you want a hearty sandwich served by great folks, look no further! They have great dips in the cooler section and I love to get spices from them. Check it out!

Excellent Deli! Purchased meats. Cheeses, 3 kinds of bean soup mixes, fried pies, pumpkin roll. It was great! And there was free homemade vanilla ice cream. You can't get any better than that. Thank you so much.

Good products. My main focus was on the candles and they have a nice diverse collection at decent prices. They also have a deli department; cold sodas, etc., On this visit, they also had watermelons decently priced. Nice and spacious; if you are cutting through North/Central Kentucky, definitely worth a break.

What a hidden gem. Wonderful selection of spices. The chocolate mint cappuccino powder is awesome either simply mixed with water or added to coffee. Sourdough bread is as delicious as expected. The prices are the most amazing surprise. Everything is so cheap! The staff is awesome and so grateful. Must buy the frozen onion rings, they turned out perfect in the air fryer.

Amish farm family sells deli foods, drinks, grocery items; loved shopping their bulk spices and baking products with great prices. Pleasant place to enjoy a treat on the patio and sit in the swings.

Folks are always friendly. Lots of bulk foods, herbs and spices. Great jams and jellies. Also, decent sliced meats. There are some outdoor furniture and wind chimes.. Decent pricing. Out of the way to get to. Located on 421 outside DeFoe.

Great store to shop in. Amish store that a great selection of items hard to find in other stores. Meats are cut when you order. Large selection of jams and jes made by Amish. Worth the trip. Store is always neat and clean.

Great and hefty sandwiches, with great meats and cheeses. Friendly workers. Lots of items to choose from even frozen and refrigerated and while country hams. Prefer getting our deli meat and cheese there over Boars Head along with fresh baked bread.

Worth the drive from anywhere in Central Kentucky. I buy the course ground cornmeal for frying fish. Only place that I can find it. Check out their meat and cheese selection. Always fresh,always great prices.

They had items that I could not find in any of the other markets or grocery stores both big and small. They have wonderful bakery products and make fantastic sandwiches.
