Let me just say “if they ain’t got it, you don’t need it!”Rural King has EVERYTHING!Home, Garden, Mechanical, Hunting, Fishing, Lounging just name it and they’ll have it!This is the best store the entire Eastern Kentucky region could ask for. It’s worth a trip around Pine Mountain from Virginia to buy feed or chickens, boots or gloves, plumbing parts or even ropes and chains of any kind!I was impressed with their variety from decor items to plants and seeds. I can’t name every item the store has, but it’s worth a trip just to see it! It’s every farmer and “rural” persons dream one stop shop!

Rebecca IS THE BEST! I drove from Logan, WV to Pikeville RK to purchase a battery for my truck. It was a savings of about $60 for the same quality battery. Rebecca and her staff on the night shift had my order ready to pick up as soon as I walked in and assisted me outside with it and returned my old batter inside for me after I changed it in the parking lot. She truly went above and beyond for me! Had a tough week with what seemed like problem after problem, she made it just a little bit better! Thanks Rebecca!

Love this place. It’s got a huge variety of stuff. The workers are very friendly. Today was my first day checking out their garden center and I loved the variety and the prices. If you’re into chicks like I am they always have a good variety of those too.

It's just ok, I thought most of the items they had were priced like Walmart or any other retail stores, some items were not priced and I don't like to be suprised at check out.

I bought 6 chicks on August 20th. I asked very specifically for certain breeds and was charged more for the 'rare' breeds I wanted. It is now September 20th and of the breeds I asked for I only got 1. 2 of them are meat birds which I did not want. If charging extra for specific breeds they should know what they're giving me. Not sure the store will do anything but I will update.Update: I called the store for 3 weeks until they finally had the chicks in I wanted. I drove an hour to the store and when I went to the chicks they only had 2 of the breeds I wanted and not the others they told me they had just 2.5 hours prior. I asked about this and they had mixed all of the chicks they told me they had into one bin and couldn't guarantee I'd get what I want, which doesn't fix my original issue. They told me they would give me $1 of each chick as compensation for the original mix up. When I told them I would just be back in the same situation since I wouldn't know what is what in the bin of mixed up chicks I was told to call back next week to see if they had what I wanted in stock. I wasted the gas to travel back to the store, ended up with little help, had to leave empty handed, and still have the wrong chicks in the end. Not a good experience, do not recommend buying chicks here, save yourself the headache.

My husband and I spent $500+ or first time here, the store is nice!! If your looking for friendly customer service DO NOT COME HERE! no welcome, no did you find what you needed. The so called manger was A piranha in a fish tank with goldfish trying to get two week old chicks into a box she killed one. They also had dead baby chicks day after day when we walked in. If you want information to go ask a kid because that’s all you’re gonna be speaking to they don’t care talk to you at this place never been to Kentucky but we moved here this is the most disrespectful store with “I know it all” attitude. Tractor supply I can’t walk in the door without being greeted and asked can I help.

I love shopping here. No matter what you're in the market for you can almost bet they have whatever it is here. Besides having such a great selection, I've noticed the people who work there to be friendly and helpful. The prices are also not bad at all. Or at least not that I seen. Got me the cutest t shirt only 5 bucks. Definitely gonna be somewhere I can make my "Go to" for pretty much whatever I need.

Great service. Friendly employee's, variety of supplies! More than just a local farming supply store, they have many options for animals (cats, dogs, and much more!) Clothing for the whole family, professional uniforms; such as scrubs, lab coats, just to name a few. Awesome selection of just about anything you need! I would highly recommend this store!

Nothing was priced, wanted $20 for 4 pair socks and had boots in wrong places so when you found a pair and got to check out instead of being$99 like price on shelf said they rang up for $189. No way will I pay that for knock off boots when I can go to a reputable boot store and pay same if not cheaper and get a lifetime guarantee if something happens to them. Besides nothing being priced or dirty from being thrown on the floor the management was rude and not at all understanding. This place used to have decent stuff at an affordable price but now it's just an over priced mess. Tools are way over priced for not being name brand, you can buy the name brand sockets at harbor freight for a set of 20 for the price of one socket here.This is the last place I will ever go to shop again.

This is an interesting place. They have such a variety of items. The store was busy with shoppers. My friend was able to get one of the workers to assist her with some items. The staff was pleasant, friendly, courteous, and helpful. The facility is like a warehouse with shelving and aisles.

Royal kings is my all time favorite store to visit. They always have a new variety of tools. Hand tools, power tools, mechanics tools. So if you got a project going on around your house I urge you to stop by here. They will always have what you need and at unbeatable prices.

I really liked the atmosphere in the store, and I love Rural King because they have awesome prices on some of the merchandise. However, some of the merchandise can be found a lot cheaper at other stores. It is still worth visiting. It carries more than just farm supplies, and if you have never been I really suggest you check it out.

I'm really not sure how I feel about this store. They give you free popcorn and coffee when you go in, but the floors were absolutely filthy. They have pretty much anything you want from guns, side by sides, clothes, groceries, rabbits, even things for livestock! It's strange to me to be able to buy groceries where you buy supplies for your livestock and horses. It was an experience, to say the least!
