If you want to use manufacture coupons here, then don't bother. I had to put back a good portion of my order, because this location did not accept coupons. It took a long time to get attended by a floor manager, and then was told that my coupons did not work for various reasons.Be aware that the price on the shelf, and the price rung up at the register can differ. Once again, I had to have a manager take off items from my order. Not everything with an "on sale" tag, is actually on sale! Most of the cashiers here needed a manager to process orders. Expect long wait times when shopping here.This Food City is one of the more expensive grocery stores in the Pikeville area. The service here ranks towards the bottom, compared to other grocery stores around. I would skip this place, and try another store.

This is a great grocery in the mountains of Eastern Kentucky. We were traveling in the Smokies and needed a full service grocery and happened upon Food City. I would categorize this one as a top notch grocery. They even have a a Starbucks inside the store. Excellent experience.

Well apparently the cake decorator was really struggling today. I ordered a cake with light blue icing but it turned out dark blue almost black. They wrote happy birthday in white icing on a white cake and then tried to write over it in dark icing with a shaky hand. I wouldn’t have sold something this pitiful looking.

Great salad bar inside, decent hot bar/cafe great Bakery,Deli,Seafood and Meat dept also really good service all the way around some items priced a little higher than what competitors have but quality makes up for it

Well, ordered my dad a Thanksgiving meal for to be picked up Wednesday day before Thanksgiving. He can barely walk ,made a special trip to pick it up & no order for him was found. The lady that took my order was Wendy. He was so upset,couldnt even get his car unlocked. I called on Thanksgiving, spoke with deli manager on duty that day. She was gonna talk to store manager & give me a call back in 2-3 days. I thanked her & told her that would be fine. I understand they are extremely busy at the holidays. And im still waiting on a response. Hoping that they will make this right.

I love going to food city for there BBQ ribs there so tender and juicy but here the last couple times going there isn't any ready to by it socks when I drive from salyersville just for the ribs but still love them

Hello it came down to the area to visit family try to find a restaurant with a good salad couldn't do it came to Food City little hit when you're traveling and you want to get some good food to eat stop in and grocery stores like food city and Pikeville got a great salad fruit soup get dessert what else do you need thank you for being there Food City John

Needs variety/selection. I generally shop at Publix so being out of town this was my option. There were not many healthy premade selections. No drinkable yogurt ( we prefer Siggi’s) and the wait to check out was long.

Prices are decent. Staff is great. Cameron was the cashier. Very helpful and quick about getting my Food City card. Give this man a raise and lemme shake his mamas hand and tell her good job. 💗😁

I love shopping here on Friday's, they have decent sales! Sometimes a little wait in line but it's always clean, bathrooms are kept pretty clean. The food at the grill is great and usually have a wide variety.

Disappointed.I work in the shopping area and don't get my break until almost 9pm. The Starbucks inside is suppose to close at 9 but no hot coffee available at 8:45pm. For two days back to back. Needs better management cause that is bad for business.
