Went to the Dairy Queen on North Mayo and ordered a banana split thru drive-thru for a two mile trip to my home. Upon arrival I found that it had already melted to a soupy state. That being said one of the components was missing. The BANANA imagine my surprise. After I poured the soupy mess into a bowl and I didn’t find any pineapples, but I did find a piece, of about the size of a dime, of banana. So technically I guess I did get a banana split. The price for this mess was $6.53. Not a fortune but to much for basically one half cup of soft serve. I know someone is going to say what’s $6, well you go to a restaurant and need six dollars and see if you get what you want.

I used to work here a while back before I went to college and even though it was very stressful due to the lack of workers and due to it being right in the middle of a pandemic, i really liked it. I felt very at home, and the food tastes really good. Brandie Meade really cares about her employees and she will do anything to make sure that they feel safe. As for the drive thru, it was really hectic and sometimes slow, but lack of workers mean more time consuming. The workers where always friendly and made sure you got your right order by asking you if you had (the order in their hand if you was pulled) Def. recommend !

Another fine example here of, use to be great, but now, not so much.When I worked for the city, I can't tell you how many times I would stop for lunch. Absolutely loved the food here, it was some of the best in town. Not to mention those tasty blizzards they made, good times right there.It seems though, and maybe this was their plan, the focus is now all about the blizzards or ice cream cakes and all the treats you can get there because the regular menu seems to be suffering in the process.You can still get a good blizzard or one of the many treats there and they are great, but nothing else is anymore. I use to get the chicken strip basket. It had the strips of chicken, some great toast, gravy and fries. I bet I have had 100s of those.The last one I got, the skin was hard like it had been set out all night, the fries and gravy were cold and the toast was utterly tasteless. That wasn't just one, that was the last one in a long line of many. It goes for burgers and everything else. God a burger one time, got home, went to take the lettuce off since they didn't when I requested it. The lettuce and tomato had rotted spots on it, like it has set out for the past month, far beyond its date. The whole inside of the burger was cold as well, like it was kinda room temp.So after several attempts to give the place another chance, I finally just quit going and that really bums me out, I loved those chicken strip baskets when they were done right. I am going to do 2 stars because the treats are great, if not for them, this would a one star all the way.

About a. Week ago my strawberry sundae wasn't in my order. My chicken boxes, toda, i ordered extra gravy and toast. I paid for the extras. Didnt get my toast in both boxes! The food was good. Must be the employee.

If you like blizzards that are half vanilla ice cream with hardly any candy then stop at this store. This isn't a review from one visit either. I've been ripped off here at least 20 times over the last year and never giving them another chance. The other dairy queen a few miles down the road has never been like this.

Im always asked to pull up when I order, and when I do get my regular order, the blizzards are never fully mixed or the food isnt cooked. I sometimes ask for extra fries when I come through because I only get like 10 fries, and its still a pitiful amount.

I love the cheese curds and ice cream although it seems the quality of the sandwiches has drastically fallen off. This could be a geographical thing because it is the same issue at every local DQ here.

Arrived at 6 pm by 612 pm I was sitting down to eat because the lady at the counter was talking to another customer about her car blowing up and the people making the food where to busy playing and talking about if his car was blue or black. This was the restraint on us 23 in Pikeville ky

Ordered big breakfast with gravy to go.. recieved it without gravy. Went back inside and asked for my correct order. Recieved another big breakfast but still no gravy... perhaps my waiter just couldn't hear. I Appreciated the extra free order but kind of feel this error was ignorant..

Brandy is awesome, I called to see if they had hash browns because there had been a supply shortage and I was on my way but would’ve made it past breakfast time and she kindly offered to take my order over the phone and have it ready 😊her friendliness was greatly appreciated❤️She brightened my day for sure with something as simple as a kind gesture

I use to love the chicken strip box well not anymore because the last two times I have got them at this location it's not worth me going there anymore due to the chicken has been fried to the point it is hard as a rock and the gravy if you want to call it that was nothing but watered down to look like milk the other time they only filled it half way and if you have ever ate one u know they don't give u that much to start with but to cut that in half. Well I called them they told me that they were closed for the night but she would give me another cup tomorrow well I told her I would bring it to her to show her what it was maybe she could tell me if it is milk or watered down gravy but either way my meal isn't any good with out the gravy and chicken to hard to eat so I was left with fries and toast for the night so after I take it back tomorrow I willNo longer be eating at Dairy Queen any longer I'm done with the workers not caring how or what they serve their customer.

I was having a bad day until I walked in. The employees greeted me with a warm smile as I approach the counter. Relatively alright but asked for extra fudge on one order and for the brownie to be heated as it has hard chocolate chips in it and I had dental work done. Sadly I had drove off before checking and found my order wasn't correct even though I had verbal conformation that otherwise. Just tired of spending money and getting lied to about a product. I'll be driving to the next DQ.

It’s a shame that a person has to pay $10ish dollars for a combo meal wait 30 minutes for the food and then not even get the full meal.Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else you’ll have a better meal and better service.

Was in Pikeville after visiting the Breaks Interstate Park. Went in to this Dairy Queen for a quick vanilla softserve in a cone. It was good as usual and this Dairy Queen was clean and well maintained. They had a good WiFi connection.
