This place is a hidden gem! There is not a burger in Owensboro that competes with Norman McDonald’s, so it is absolutely worth the drive. The staff is always polite and friendly. The guy running the grill is a magician. Call your order in if you’re picking up because everything is made to order!

My husband took me here today for our anniversary and I am so glad he did! I had the best cheeseburger and onion rings ever! Not only was the food amazing but so was our server. She was the sweetest lady and she seemed genuinely happy to talk with us😊Thank you guys for such an awesome experience 💙

Unfortunately, I do not get to go there often. If I could, I would be there for their catfish every Friday. Truly, it is the best I have ever had. I have tried a few other things on their menu, but it's hard to break away from that most awesome catfish. Great friendly service, very comfortable and home-like atmosphere, and I have never seen less than the very best at everything they do!!

Great food and service. Friday brings the very best catfish filets with baked potato, salad, hush puppies and a drink, it cannot be beat. Saturday is steak night and what a delight. I have never been disappointed when I have stopped there.

My wife and I came here this Friday morning and I got the catfish basket and she got a cheeseburger basket. We split an order of fried green tomatoes. It was all excellent. They get fresh catfish in every Friday!

Absolutely love this place!! Except it's not open enough. They aren't open in the evening anymore. It's so nice to have a restaurant in Philpot instead of going in the way into Owensboro.
