Today, 4-22-2024 around 1:30 pm while my husband gassed up our van, I asked the Pilot attendant, a young man with a huge smile, how the showers worked. I explained that we were from Phoenix, AZ that we are feeding the homeless in cities across the country on the way to North Carolina and then back home to Phoenix, and that we had just cleaned toilets at Loaves and Fishes in Louisville, KY and we desperately needed a shower. The attendant excitedly said, “that’s an awesome thing to do.” A trucker in line behind me said he used to mine in Globe, AZ, shook my hand and thanked me for feeding the homeless, then he paid for our showers which would’ve costed $34. Not only was everyone at the Pilot Truck Stop kind and helpful, but the showers and bathrooms were spotless. They even provided the towels, washcloths, bath mat and soap. This had been our first experience at a Pilot and when we finished our showers my husband and I said, “I’m sure Love’s is just as nice, but we are their customers for life.” Thank you Pilot employees in Sulphur, KY

Ticks me off when drivers block the pumps when they are done fueling, if they had fueled at all. One driver was in the store for at least 25 minutes while I sat behind him. He came out of the store then pumped fuel then went back in the store after fueling. Another driver done pretty much the same thing except he started pumping fuel and walked in the store while his truck was fueling. Leaving it unattended. I don't know when he came back out because I was finally able to get to a pump and fill up. He was still in the store even after I fueled cleaned my glass and left.

Just today, I stopped in for a cup of Dunkin Doughnuts coffee. Not sure what the deal is, but the lids did not fit well on the paper cups. I didn’t notice this until I took a sip of extremely hot coffee and it the lid snapped off and spilled all down my chest and lap. I think the lids were intended to styrofoam cups. Needless to say, it burned me and messed up my shirt and pants. Management needs to address this issue.

REALLY.. FROZEN HOTDOGS.. Subway closes at 9pm why wouldn't you put hotdogs on an hour before they close so people who've been working all day can get something to eat. Terrible management skills.TV doesn't work and places is dirty.Parking is terrible after 8pm.Definitely not a place to spend the night while traveling.

This 24hour truckstop has been the best place around for good quality gas at a cheap price and when u need something late at night for years.They have a friendly staff with clean bathrooms and showers.

Nothing special, needed gas and this was a stop with comparable prices to the other locations I drove past. I think the Loves just north of this location had a little cheaper prices.

DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT STOP HERE AND SHOWER. Literally one of the most filthiest and disgusting pilot truck stops I've ever been to. Even black mold growing on the ceiling. This place was completely unsanitary.

Women working the night shift clearly hate their lives. Overheard them back talking another customer under their breaths after he had walked away after asking a simple question and then had the audacity to be rude when i told them that they should be a little kinder. Get your stuff and get out essentially. There are definitely better Pilots along I71.

Truckers beware... parking is not enforced at this location. Watched multiple drivers have to back down the parking lot to get out through another lane because drivers completely blocked the drive lanes.

Parking lot is very rough with giant holes and uneven pavement. Lot is clean. Bathrooms were good. Staff was very friendly.

Stopped here to take a nap and use the rest room. Plenty of parking spots for a pickup truck. Inside was nice and clean with a lower level that I didn't explore. The lady attending the counter at 4am was hopping from the coffee station and the register, and diligently working. She inspired me to give 5 stars, keep up the good work

There are 2 pilots at this exit, and this is not the one to come to. No room to pull up after fueling and not a great entry into the fuel pumps. No reason to come to this one over the other.The store was clean, there’s a subway so no actual complaint there.

I usually don’t stop and do my ten at Pilots, but this Pilot is different extremely clean and very friendly staff, the showers are biggest showers I’ve encountered on the road, definitely recommended.

Good location, but the parking lot is oddly arranged, and the semi fuel islands don't allow for many trucks to be in line to wait. The store is clean and staff are friendly. The showers were roomy, but the water did not stay at a consistent temperature.

I haven't really felt motivated to review a gas station before, but my experience here today was positive. I can't speak to the amenities for truckers, like showers, but the bathrooms were clean and the staff was exceptionally friendly. The folks stopping through were all good friendly people too, I ended up having a nice conversation while picking out a drink before I got back on the road.From the old reviews this sounds like a place to avoid, but my experience today has me planning on making this my pit stop on the way back.

I stop at this Pilot often when traveling from Cincinnati. The restrooms are always clean and Dunkin always has donuts and coffee. There are not maybe hot food items to choose from with Subway being inside.

Haven't been to this Pilot in awhile. Company runs out of the Cincinnati area, so usually if I stop here, just for food. Never had a truly bad experience here in all my years OTR. That unfortunately changed today. Fueled and went inside to get fuel receipt. Looked at Pilot app on way in and had several offers for free items. Decided to take Pilot up on several of them. Cashier could not get item to ring up as free. Natasha, turned to her Manager, Nikki for help. Was told nothing to be done about it, pay for it or don't get it. Not nicely but pretty gruff about it. I rang out and as was leaving, Nikki (who identified as a manager, LOL!) mumbled under her breathe to Natasha, "These truck drivers come in here thinking they can just get things for free..." Just know I would never treat a dog like this, let alone the truck drivers who are the primary source of revenue for Pilot and supposedly whom they proudly serve!

Night manager was very kind and helpful after a fire had closed off a handful of the truck parking spaces. Found room for a handful of us coming in late night and went above and beyond to accommodate for something out of his control. Makes truck drivers feel appreciated and welcome. I'll stop here every time I'm on this route.

I stop here during my round trip from Louisville to Dayton at least 3 xs a month. Staff is always really nice. The store is always clean and well stocked.

This place has two pilots on both side of the freeway 😂🤣. Checked out both and chose this one. It looks like they are working hard to update it and parts were under construction but still clean. The showers are the biggest that I’ve ever seen. Water is a bit wonky at times but got very hot. The best part about this place is the employees. Nicest most considerate employees I’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting especially at a Pilot. Especially Zack (Jack?) thank you so much!

This is most definitely the place truckers don't need to stop for a shower at night on a/the/any weekend.They never have showers available for use because they have only '1' staff on duty and that staff's only duty is to handle the cash register and do odds & ends.BTW, the staff is/are arrogant & rude.

Hated the experience, dude inside was such a piece of lint and said as I walked away "Good luck with the weight gain." Horrible thing to say to your customers, 1/5 stars, get better and nicer workers.

Exiting off of exit 28 going North toward Cincinnati, the Pilot that is referred to here is the Pilot on the right or the one NOT having the McDonald's on site. My pick of the two at this exit would be this one. The staff most time, all times I have patronized it, clean, orderly, and always a little exciting to "window" shop. I give it a 5 star rating every time I have visited. This Pilot is very uniform. Easy 5 stars

Went in to get a cup of coffee at 3:00 am this morning all coffee pots were empty. I went up to the counter and told the lady that works there about all coffee pots were empty she was sitting down on her phone she said I work very hard every night it looks like it .

This is the only store that I've called corporate on in a negative way. I went in last night and the bathroom garbages were overflowing, there was pee all in front of the toilets, the counters haven't been wiped down in a long while, toilet paper all over the place. I mentioned to the 2 girls working at the register that the bathrooms are in desperate need of attention. I go back in this morning and the ONLY thing that was done was the garbages that you throw paper towel into were changed. I mentioned it to them again that the bathrooms are disgusting this morning and just went back in and it's still nasty. 10pm, 8am and noon. This picture was from my noon visit. I stay here because usually its clean and wings and things is right next door. They just shrug their shoulders like whatever. I have never had a cleanliness issue like this before. Nasty. I will not come back. The only reason I gave a 2 star and not a 1 star is because they did an awesome job remodeling this store. Too bad the employees don't take pride in their work

Twice I've been to this pilot and it filthy dirty. The store and bathroom. I see no reason why at 3am two employees can sit and talk instead of taking a broom to the floors or keeping the coffee stations free of trash or simply wipe up the counters. No creamers again simply no excuses! This store has lost my business I'll not be stopping here ever again.
