Me and my Husband go into this store at least 2-3 times a week. This location and all locations in southern Illinois. Well yesterday will be my last day of giving Kroger my hard earned money just to get stopped every time we go to self checkout. My husband went in 2/14 to get some stuff by himself. It was plenty people using self checkout. The only people that got stopped was him and another Black Man. Every single time I have visit this store and use self checkout I have been stopped. We are over 40 and even in my younger years I was raised to not take from any one. I feel highly disappointed and disgusted in the behavior of Kroger. Never again!!

They have been regularly out of common items i need, deli is usually closed and when it’s open, i feel like I’m putting them out to cut a small meat order. This is the most convenient store location, i just want better.

This is an older Kroger that is a little bit difficult to get to because of the street placement. However it is well stocked and it is very clean. Vegetables and fruits are well-kept and staff is very pleasant and very helpful. The pharmacy is very nice and very professional. If you're on that side of town it is an excellent store to shop at.

Horrible experience with there BAKERY!!! We did not get what we asked for at all!! The writing you can barely read it!! It’s not the color okie wanted at all!!!! The icing on the cake is all messed up you can see the cake!! I do not recommend this place at all!! And 10$ more then Walmart price was absolutely not ok for what we got!!!

Not a bad little Kroger it's one of the smaller stores but has a good selection of merchandise for its size the employees for helpful and the shells are well-stocked. I also noticed it this store has many items on sale that the other Kroger's do not. the carts were picked up out of the parking lot the parking lot and the store where clear of debris. a negative I feel was during the time of my visit which was approximately 8 p.m. we're only the self-checkout lanes were open. The self-checkouts work pretty well but not as well as Walmart I wish they had had a single cashier to check my groceries and it would have been a perfect visit.

My husband gets his prescriptions there, so I went to pick up a couple of things. Pleasantly surprised by the lower prices and they had everything I wanted. Store is super clean and the cashiers are friendly.

We were very happy with our visit to this store. Kroger has reduced prices on many items which makes them much more competitive than before. This store is easy to get in and out of much quicker than Walmart... It was clean and had plenty of checkers. Thank you Kroger......our new grocery store.

All the necessities, none of the glimmer that has become The Kroger Company superstores. Love the basics with a touch of technology! The CSRs are nice & respondent here which is also a litmus test to proper managment .

Poorly staffed in the late evening. Twice recently I have shopped around 8:00 to 9:00 PM, and seen only 1 or 2 employees visible in the entire store. The last time, they didn't even have one normal checkout lane open; the only option was self-checkout. I am very comfortable with technology, but Kroger's self-checkout is poorly designed, is very stressful (I don't like being lectured by a computer), and does not work well for bagging a large number of items. Since I had had a very stressful day already, I could not muster up the fortitude to deal with their self-checkout. So even though I had spent 30 minutes filling my cart, I put back the frozen foods I had selected, and left the store without making a purchase.In spite of this recent one-star experience, I give them three stars for the fact that I have had many good experiences at this Kroger in the past. But from now on I will do most of my shopping at Kroger's Hannan Plaza location, which I believe does not yet have self-checkout.

I have gone to this store for years .Today I went and what a mess had to wait to get in the out door due to men working got inside and had to search for a cart .The store was packed and only one entrance open , it looks like they could do some of this work at night when not so busy .I did not feel good with only one entrance open and it was the door for pick up lane .

The issues I have with this Kroger stem from not carrying products. I will receive an email or a flyer about a special or even just an everyday item, but they are never in stock. Also, they never get promotional items when they should. For example, Ecto Cooler did not reach this store until four months after it was released everywhere else. The place is clean, most of the staff are very helpful and pleasant, it's just a lack of products that drags their rating down.

One of three Kroger's in a 4 to 5 mile radius. Only one has a fuel station, but you accumulate fuel points in all of them. Good place for regular or guick shopping pickup. Customer service is excellent and good manager specials.

Clean store, cheap prices. No cell service but they have free WiFi. The Kroger App has coupons, a Free Friday Download and customizable lists. This stores raises the bar excellent customer service. The only one that doesn't is Lawrence who operates the "Self Checkout" line. He has no personality and is rude to everyone, especially disabled customers. He accused one of stealing $0.30 because a donut scanned at $0.99 instead of$1.29. He called the customer out making him feel like a criminal. All over an unintentional, unavoidable $0.30 discrepancy.Other than that they're doing a Great Job! Keep up the good work, Guys!

The selection at this Kroger is respectable. I’m glad we have it in our community. However, this building has never been renovated. It looks terrible from the outside, stuck in time. Considering how nice Kroger stores look at other locations in Kentucky, this one is pitiful.

On March 15, 2017 at approximately 9:30 pm my spouse and I were using the self checkout. We shop here alot and are usually greeted with friendly service and a satisfactory experience except when a gentleman named Lawrence mans the self checkout registers. He is always rude and very unhelpful; usually his attitude is overlooked by us. Tonight, however, after we had checked out, he approached us and asked if we paid for the donuts (that he had clearly sat there and watched us scan and pay for). I said,"Yes, we paid for the donuts." He stated very rudely,"Those donuts you're SNACKING on?" We attempted to show him our receipt that showed the donuts were paid for but instead he kept his nose on his little computer he uses - as if we woulf lie about a couple of donuts. We left but immediately re-entered the store to discuss the situation with the manager on duty. Kirsten, the manager, made it very clear that she couldn't care less about how rude her employee was and stated, before we could even introduce ourselves, that "he had every right to check that receipt!" (He didn't even glance at our receipt) She refused to listen to a word of what we were saying. On the way home, we called the store to speak to the general manager. Kirsten answered the phone and informed us that he was not in. I asked for the number to her district manager and she told me it was 1-800-kroger - the number does not exist. When we called back she immediately started to argue with us on the phone abd re-iterate that he did nothing wrong. I have no problem with someone doing their job and told her as much but I did have a problem with the way he did it (he insinuated that we were thieves) and the tone he used (very unfriendly). She informed me that her general manager "will be in tomorrow and I am leaving him a note about this right now!" Time will tell, I guess. As it stands, we hardly want to go back into the store and spend our money there.

This was my first visit to Paducah, we stopped here on the way to our hotel, the fruit and vegetables section had out of date products and the bagged salad kits were rotten brown and wet ewe nasty. Not one or two but every bag was that way the tomatoes had signs of not being fresh the lettuce heads stink Flor itself was not clean. I just decided to order pizza

My favorite grocery store in Paducah. Good location. Always clean and I've never had any trouble with getting what I need here. I will usually drive right past Wal Mart just to go to this Kroger. Great store.

Woman at customer service desk is rude. This is the second time she has been rude with me. I brought in a marked down malted milk that was not expired yet. It tasted funny (prob bc it was sitting out somewhere) and all I wanted to do was exchange it for the exact same malt. These malt are almost $6 each for 16 ounces. I even had a receipt. She wouldn't let me exchange it. Which is ridiculous. So I took it to the other Kroger and they exchanged it with no problem. Will never go back to this kroger.. And I spent a lot of money thete Their loss. Will be contacting manager soon.
