The employees are very nice, and helpful. Always trying to get stock out. But And will go look if not out, if you ask. It is set up for easy navigation for wheelchairs and enough room to pass around. Clean, bathrooms are clean too. I shop here for my family some. Has good sales and digital coupons. A hometown store with good hometown people.

It was bigger than others I’ve visited and the staff was friendly so thats a plus. Then there were a lot of U-boats full of boxes in my way and the bathroom left a lot to be desired so the negative slightly overshadowed the positive that day but i feel i must have visited on a rough day, im sure the staff is over worked and under appreciated for all they sacrifice working directly in contact with the public during these times.

A surprisingly vast selection. Smallish but very nice produce section; meats looked very fresh! I was very impressed at how much they stock.- even automotive! Very nice store!

This is an updated review on Dollar General Market in Owenton. I don't recommend this store because I tried to load cash onto my Netspend card at this Dollar General & they told me their machine hasn't worked in about a week. I had to walk to the Dollar General on the Sparta Kentucky road which is extremely dangerous to load cash onto my card. Some of the employees that work there are rude. They charge Walmart prices also. If u can avoid shopping at the Dollar General Market in Owenton, I would do it because u would be better off spending ur money some place else.

This store is so clean and organized ! Easy to find everything because it's not cluttered , the manager is always smiling and sweet her employees are very kind and helpful , down home goodness my favorite store !

I like this store better than family Dollar in Owen co but they could use more help there will be a line of 10 people with one person trying to ring them out so when you are in a hurry that sucks but the staff is friendly and helpful and the prices are much better than family Dollar.

They didnt have what I went for. One of the few dollar generals I've seen with a self check out. They usually only ever keep one register open plus the self check out. So be prepared to wait in line for a while.

I came in here to get snacks and decided to check out the produce. I brought a salad and the next day opened it and it was souring. I was so mad! I won't be buying produce from any dollar general again.

Always good to grab something ya need quick..dont be fooled though, just because it says dollar store doesnt mean its cheaper. Its actually more expensive in some cases. BUT, its quicker than going to the grocery store.
