They LOVE animals!! Out of the several receptionists that rotate and the years I've been going there, only 3 times have I ever not felt like I was walking into a hug. That lady isn't at the desk often enough to worry about. Our FAVORITE receptionist is a blonde lady who, you can tell, wants to come out and hug and love on all the fur babies. Mine always try to go over the desk to love on her. As far as boarding, out of the different employees who take the animals to the kennel area, I'd like to single out the fella. He isn't talkative, but he is the ONLY strange man one of my former pets wouldn't growl or bark at. He is a GEM!! The others are all ladies and they are ALL excited and loving to the fur babies. 😍

Yesterday, I had appointments for my two dogs (80 lb. and 60 lb.) for baths which I was told included nails, anal glands and ears for $40 each. Their rule is you must drop off your dogs between 7:30 and 8 a.m. I have not used TSPR in a very long time due to a boarding issue but I thought I'd give the grooming a try. They said they would call me when they were ready so I was thinking around 1 p.m. would be reasonable. So I waited.... Finally, at 2 p.m. I called and said I was on my way to pick up my dogs only to be told they would be ready at 2:30 but that was okay because I was on my way. I waited in the parking lot until it was 2:30 exactly. When I went in Ms. Thang at the computer told me my total was $133!!! and told me they did not do a $40 package. I said when I called to ask, that is what I was told. Ms. Thang would not listen and was rude expecting me to pay right then. I said I was going to wait on paying until I saw my dogs. They had been there 6 1/2 hours or more. My big guy was stressed to the max and both were still a little damp so that tells me they had just finished them. Hair was flying off of them, so that tells me they were not blown off, when I got home, I used my blower and got a lot of hair off of them. Pitiful, grooming is the service they provide so, why did I have to do more on them when I got them home, especially after an exorbitant charge?? When I questioned "WHY did they have to be there so early?" I was told, they get in all the dogs and then organize what dogs they are doing in what order, etc. LUDICROUS!! What would be the harm in setting appointments with dedicated times for your dogs only. So that tells me my rescue mutts were done dead last. They are easy to wash, they have short hair, and they don't require any "grooming". I was told there was an extra charge for drying, and extra charge for brushing and I did get an extra charge because I wanted their nails cut then use the Dremel on their nails to make them smooth because when they are just cut, they are sharp. I expected the upcharge on the Dremel. No way did I expect the total bill of $133. Ms. Thang at the computer only gave me one printout on one dog but not on the other so I have no idea how this total was ascertained. I DO know that I will NEVER use Towne Square Pet Resort ever again. Suggestions for improvements: 1. Set appointments and pick up times instead of a "group" drop off where all dogs are just held in kennels until workers are ready. 2. Transparent charges for services--NO hidden fees. Maybe even a written estimate given at drop off to put an end to over charging. I realize that might take a little bit of time, but it would prove to customers you run an upstanding service business. 3. Extremely friendly front desk staff and arrival and especially at pick-up. Ms. Thang has got to go. So instead of just voicing my upset, I also gave constructive ideas for improvement. Hopefully, the things mentioned here might make a difference for potential clients in the future.

Super nice staff. My pooch is not thrilled with staying away from home, but he doesn't seem to be overly nervous here. He's clean when I pick him up and doesn't immediately run for food/water

Staff here is very friendly. They have a good selection of pet food and prescription food as well. They groom and board both cats and dogs and have all of their prices easily listed for you to see. Animals all seem to be very well groomed when people check them out. The staff seem very caring with the animals both coming in and leaving. We purchase prescription cat food here and they always have stock of it.

We love Towne Square! They always treat our doggie, Rufus, like a king. He loves going because they treat him exceptionally! We will use them for all our boarding/grooming needs.

Everyone was great except the grumpy one at the front desk. I am not sure how long she has worked there but maybe it's time for her to retire or look into a job that doesn't deal with the public. Other than that all the other employees were and always are awesome to me and my fur babies. And my fur babies love them....especially Lacy, Lori and Sheyenne...

Will never go to this place again! Took my Sheltie for grooming and they shaved him! I did not authorize them to do it! I only asked for bath and to trim sanitary area and mats behind ears along with nail trimming. I did not recognize him. And then charged me $50 for a shave! The groomer was just lazy! Never!!!! They don't even deserve one star!

We take our Shih Tzu Reggie here about once a month. He came to us after being abused and he was very angry with everyone. Ashley was the groomer for his first grooming. She was so patient and good with our little guy. She worked with him until he understood that he was going to be okay and was just there to be groomed. Ashley is the best! Everyone is nice and most know the names of the dogs as they come through the door.

My Yorkie, Banjo came home after being groomed with 3 cuts and a badly cut and bleeding toenail. No one told my husband and he got blood all over his car. When I called about it all I got was sorry this happens sometimes. Well, sorry. I won't be back.

WARNING: Don't ever take your pets to Towne Square Pet Resort! Trae and I took Wyatt to Towne Square to get his shots Saturday morning so that we could have he and Nyx boarded Saturday night while we had to go out of town for a wedding. Upon arriving, the receptionist tells me that Nyx is overdue for a rabies vaccination (which I had taken her to get her yearly boosters in March). After a few minutes of arguing with her about it I ended up thinking I had made a mistake since the vaccines weren't showing up in their database so I told her to go ahead and update Nyx's vaccinations and we left them there at about 2 pm. Sunday we went to pick them up at 4 and they told us that their bed was still in the washing machine because Wyatt had gotten upset and gotten sick all over it. The receptionist printed out the vaccine records for us with Wyatt's name on the papers and a rabies tag for HIM instead of Nyx. When I questioned the paperwork she claimed it was an entry error and she reprinted the paperwork with Nyx's name on them instead. They brought us out the dogs and Wyatt seemed really lethargic and down in the dumps. As soon as we got him out in the parking lot he started vomiting EVERYWHERE. One of the employees came out with a towel for us and told us that he had been throwing up the whole time he had been there (with no phone call to let us know). Finally Trae went back in and they decided to finally admit that they had given WYATT another round of shots after he had already had the same ones that same morning by the SAME VET and proceeded to charge us for nausea pills and tell us they didnt do refunds, only credit so that we could visit the resort again. He threw up at least 15 times yesterday and couldn't keep any water down so now he is hooked up to IV's and staying the night at Audubon to monitor his status. DO NOT TAKE YOUR PETS THERE! They make mistakes and then lie to you about it, risking the pets life to cover up their bluff. Sorry for the long read, but I thought you guys would like to know! I am SO furious right now! Here are some photos of Wyatt looking super sick right after we got him back!
