I like the concept behind what they're trying to do. We need discounted stores especially around this day n age. But it's hit and miss with that store. Like for an example they'll have a plethora of rugs but then have no circle table covers and have all rectangular table covers. I'm pretty sure that they never know exactly what they have on the trucks. But somebody higher up can fix it. I like the store a little bit but it could do a lot better. Hope this helps.

We went to this Owensboro location a few days ago after eating at Texas Roadhouse. This place had lots of good deals and things in regular stores you can't normally find. Plus, I had a coupon to use which helps!!!

Had a scheduled interview for today and called the store to see what time I was scheduled for the interview and the manager was rude off the bat saying he told me what time it was scheduled I'm sorry some people don't have the best cellular reception sir! Except for the books, candles and gardening pots, the quality of merchandise at Ollie's seems to have gone down hill recently, while the prices have gone up considerably. In addition, when i shop at this location, I always seem to encounter a member of their management staff who never fails to either glare at me constantly and/or be completely rude and condescending to me, regardless of whether I have to, god forbid, ask him a question or am just quietly perusing the isles (the same one, in fact...a tall male, approximately 30-35 years old with short dark hair and sporting a red shirt every time). Last fall, he was so over the top ugly to me when I asked for his help locating an item that I turned and left on the spot. On my very next visit, I needed someone to assist me in shifting through the stacks of heavy, full size rugs so that i could remove the one i wished to purchase from the bottom of the pile. I had to circle the store a few times before I even saw an employee who seemed to be on the clock and working. When I finally spied one, it turned out to be that same male manager from my previous visit. When I asked for assistance, he became visibly angry and snorted an impatient breath in through his nose. He told me to "go up front and tell one of the guys up there to help me in carpets." Then he spun around and stomped off toward the rear of the store without another word. After that, i didnt return to the store again for almost a year. I tried to contact Ollie's home office to alert them to their manager's behaviors: twice by email and three times by phone. No one ever got back with me or acknowledged my complaint in any way. This manager continues to mean mug me whenever I enter the store today and he is the MOD.

Great place to find great deals, and you never know what they are going to have.I searched the internet to find a dehumidifier that had a drain hose pump feature. I found the one I wanted and then later found Ollie's had it for $87 less.

It's fun to see all the different products they have. I bought car seat covers that has held up great against muddy paws, throw rugs which has survived being washed a few times and you can always find a good bargain in the pet section.

I absolutely love this place. Don't waste your time anywhere else if you want true quality, recent styles, and top name brand merchandise that you are familiar with and can afford. If you want to purchase with a peace of mind at a true bargain saving price with a more than fair 30 day return policy this is truelly the place. Located just west of the "old KMart bldg on West Parrish" where Save-Alot used to be. Go see them join Ollie's Army Bargain Battalion and start earning points and additional discounts.
