4/29/24 UPDATED to 5 ⭐️ : Store remodel completed, and things are clean and orderly. I have to get used to the changes, but updates usually come with this!3/17/24 1 ⭐️ : store being updated and is torn apart. About 1/4 of shelves empty. So disappointed. Employees friendly but clueless as to construction schedule. Steer clear for a month at least!

Just left the store. Not on this end of town very often. Tried to speak to the cashier tried to speak to the guy bringing in the carts. No response at all? Thought maybe my cashier was deaf since I tried 3 times but a lady walked by and spoke to him and he had no trouble hearing? What the heck?

The Kroger here is a lot less expensive than I expected them to be. I like that they have everything I need, and the store usually isn't crowded, at least not when I'm around.I can certainly say that this is the best Kroger in Owensboro to go to; the store is clean, and it's away from the city centre, so it isn't as busy as the other Owensboro stores.

I can usually find everything I need, plus you get discounts on gas. Great place to grocery shop. They also have flowers and garden plants, pots and soil for your flowers. Wood for wood grills and fir your fireplace.

Produce is getting a little questionable. Last 2 times I've bought tomatoes within 2 days they've started rotting and they weren't completely ripe when I bought them.

Selection not the best. Deli doesn't make sandwiches on demand despite having all the stuff you might want. Never has enough sandwiches pre-made. Their pre-made sandwiches kinda suck. Walmart sandwiches suck but at least they make on demand.

You used to be a 5 star, but you have hired new personell that are not as friendly and helpful. The an in the eat dept. was very nice and helpful. Needed help in another dept. The girl just disappeared on meBut all in all I enjoy shopping there. Your store is clean and you have a huge variety!

Clean & decent variety of items. The staff is always friendly & I've never seen a big backup at the registers.. the staff & management is friendly.. they have a good variety of items for a smaller store.. and the shelves are well stocked the majority of the time.

I came in at 6am today (10/17/21) & couldn't find glaze donuts, as almost nothing was out on display. The young guy in bakery couldn't help me, so I asked him to get the lady I could see behind the counter, and possibly she could. She automatically, no preamble, upon reaching the counter & began speaking to me very slowly (like I had low comprehension levels), with long pauses after every word. When I asked her not to speak to me like I was remedial, she informed me I could complain the (no manager at this hour), bc she had orders that had to go out & didn't have time to deal with me. She the proceeded to walk away talking to herself (negatively/belligerently) about me to herself. If this is how I am going to be treated for asking for assistance from an employee, from now on, I will be waiting for Priceless to open. Due to your unghastly rude employee, Kroger just lost a lifelong loyal customer today. And from reading your reviews, seems I'm not the only one that feels this way.

I love shopping here! Several employees stopped and asked me if I needed any help. That is not alway the case but not all shopping experiences are without instances. Today was just extra friendly; more so than usual. I have nothing bad to say this trip

I have been a fateful customer at this Establishment. I loved Kroger's because of their product. However, everytime I come into this store. I am treated unkindly. I have been followed around the store as if I'm going to take something with out paying for it. I have been stood over at the self check out line very closely as if I'm a thief. That is not my character. I'm sad to say I won't be going to Kroger's again they've lost a good customer

Blew a tire, out front the store and tried to get the floral and balloon lady "Mabel" to fix my tire, but she wouldnt do it! The customer is always right! I even drive a Prius so I know i could pull that bad boy right through the doors and next to her desk! Im offended she thinks Im not a good driver! I could maneuver my car all the way to the top of the empire state building! Found a gutter girl round back that blew my tire up in no time flat though...

Never have my caffeine free cokes. You can make up your list and every time you shop they never have what you want. You have to settle for something. Its crazy!! Short on Jimmy Dean products. Not good supply of canned goods either.

Very convenient. Large variety of meats. Store is always clean and good about restocking. I do miss the Starbucks that was inside. Get your Kroger card and save on fuel. More fuel for the tank.

I like their pick up service. Ever since covid changed things, kroger waived their pickup fee. So it's free and convenient. It saves so much time to order online then pick it up. This location is close and still has a good selection. I consistently receive everything I order, though I have had to accept more and more substitutions due to covid affecting their inventory. They do a good job of limiting the amount of disinfectant or toilet paper panicked shoppers over stock on.

Conveniently close to my hotel. Excellent selection with reasonable prices. It's a Kroger. That doesn't vary much. That being said, Starlite has a much better offering of salmon than Frederica does. Call me crazy, but I prefer my fish plain for me to season and Starlite is the only Kroger to offer such an opportunity. Frederica, which I otherwise love, likes to get cute with their Salmon seasoning. That being said, besides fish, Frederica is better, safer, cheaper. They have a sushi bar. But if you like fresh fish.. I'd recommend Starlite.

Encountered a very rude employee she actually made faces at me, I said, excuse me twice. She looked in a hurry to get her task finished, as the cart was taking up the whole isle. Certainly, her day will get better, this is my favorite store to grocery shop.
