I don’t recommend this location. I have only been one time and walked out without buying anything. It is a small store and does not offer a large selection. I wanted to get flowers, but their selection is really small compared to other locations. Prices in general seemed too high. Also, there was a long line of people waiting to checkout. You could not even get through the front of the store, but had to go all the way back and around. I’ll stick with the Kroger on Frederic’s Street from now on.

Went to get a money order,had me go get in line at the check out,I knew that I needed to be at service desk,but waited in line finally got my turn just to be told to go to service desk.Waited for 25 minutes ,girl at the check out just stood at her station doing nothing,Big ol run around because people don't want to do their job.Would not recommend this store.

I am appalled at what goes on. Have never complained before in a review. I bought groceries, got home and realized 2 items I purchased weren't in my bags. The girl bagging was busy talking to another employee(I think it was the person from customer service desk who was standing there listening while phone was ringing off the hook). The conversation was obviously of personal nature and the checkout lady was waiting for her to continue to bag so she could check out others in line. When I got home I called the store...the young lady answering the phone told me there was obviously nothing to be done on the phone, but come on in and get what I LEFT there! I live 30 minutes away, so that makes no sense..not an apology or anything. I won't be going back in there in the future except to get my money returned.

This is a great little grocery store. I usually prefer larger scale stores but this one has pretty much everything I need. I am in and out usually a couple of times a day, can they always have what I go there for. The staff there is very friendly and courteous. I don't think you will find a store in town with a friendlier staff. Oh and the new layout looks great, it was a much-needed facelift on an old store.

Best Kroger in town!EDIT: I left the stars for the experience I had at the time. This store has always been old and run down and I overlooked that because I really enjoyed and appreciated the employees. That has definitely changed. Johanna is an angry person, 👏ALL👏THE👏TIME👏 ! She's rude and is very comfortable cursing in front of customers and talking horribly about them. The management is aware and corporate has been notified. I will continue to report her until she either changes her disgusting attitude or she's fired. Period.

I love this pharmacy and the people who work here. I dont understand why someone would choose this store to close down. I cant get my medication, I have been out of at least one for two weeks. The Fredricia Krogers, I know are behind, are rude and dont seem to care. They say call a week or two before you run out, I dont receive my pain medication until the day I run out. So I guess I'm suppose to go without it for two weeks? I guess I'll have to switch pharmacies, I dont know what else to do :(

Selection of products is improving but overall the store needs more attention to detail. It's not laid out very well and the pet food isle smells attrocious. I shop here mostly because it's close and has a pharmacy.

Google said store closes at midnight I go in at 10:30 and the girl on the intercom is saying that the store will be closing in 30 minutes. So when I go to check out I ask her if they are closing early and was treated like an idiot for asking said question. She rudely replied no that they always have closed at 11. I went on to inform her that it said midnight online and that it was my first time at this particular store. I felt like I was a bother to her with the way she stared at me. I will not go back to that location

While it had all of the necessities this is definitely a neighborhood market. It is small and not nearly as bountiful as the other Kroger's in Owensboro, they do cover all the basics. In a cinch they'd be good, but despite the fact they are quite close to where I live, I'd much rather make the trip to either of the other Kroger stores.

Visiting from out of the area and only stopped in real quick, but it was an over-all nice experience. The store was fairly clean and organized. The staff were friendly and helpful.

I LOVE Kroger!! I don't use Walmart so this is my go to. I actually live closer to the one on Fredrica but I prefer to drive further for the experience at this location. I like that it's smaller and I can still get everything I need. I also recognize and am familiar with most of the employees at this location. The employees are also familiar with me! They are definitely more expensive than Walmart but the overall quality is better. I wish they had more sugar free options and low carb options in drinks, coffee creamers and ice-cream but that's an issue at any Kroger store. I started using a new cheaper grocery store in town but if they don't have everything I need this store is where I head next. The employees (managers included) are kind and helpful. I actually called the store back a few weeks ago to brag to a manager about a young employee who goes above and beyond every time I'm there. Walking in a store and getting that small town feeling/welcome is important to me and it's why I keep coming back to this store. The hours of this location are great to. I prefer to shop at night and they stay open until midnight (I've only gone once and there has been a sign stuck to the door saying the had to close early). The only reason I didn't give 5/5/ stars is the prices are a little high.

Kroger is my choice for a big box grocery. Everything I need and the specials are truly special. All departments have professional service from friendly people. Their Rewards program can't be beat!

I went in for just the deli meat. Picked up a few things throughout the store. Got to the deli and was told they don't slice meat just for you anymore so I left all of it there for them to put away and drove across town to a different store

I live in hawesville and do not drive.kroger is in owensboro.everytime I pay someone to take me there they are out of the sale items I go there for.rain checks are useless to me when I have to pay someone to take me back for the item I might as well buy it full price here.not once but every time.

Small scale Kroger with the basic items you need. This is the oldest Kroger in town and a little dated. The staff is always quick and courteous.
