Great experience with the owner, older guy with white hair. Helped me set up a sling and scope for my .22. The middle-aged guy with the long beard told me they wouldn't buy used mags until I told him I had bought the mags used from that store, then he told me the mag lady wasn't there that day. That's fine, but there is no need to run off a customer because you're worried about job security. Find the right answer and get back to them. My mags are now posted on Ebay. 10rd and less can be posted there.

Great local business to shop at. They seem to always have the best selection when it comes to purchasing hard to find items between Clarksville and Hopkinsville. Before I order a firearm related item online, I always check Gun and Knife Country first. It’s usually in stock and cheaper still.The customer service team is very friendly which goes a long way compared to “another” gun store on 41a (Tennessee 🔫 C😉UNTRY) that I wouldn’t shop at even if they had a by one gun, get five free sale.

Great place to buy a firearm and firearm accessories. Also, if you’re selling a gun they always offer fair prices. I have bought and sold many firearms with them. Love the family vibe there also. They always have their dogs therm. Best place to buy a gun in the Oak Grove, Hopkinsville, Clarksville area. Definitely a repeat customer.

Went this past weekend to get a benchmade and I ended up leaving with a benchmade and two cobra tec knives. The prices were more than awesome! The staff was helpful and friendly! If your looking for great prices on knives or guns go see them at gun and knife country! I will definitely be going back to get more soon!

First, off I want to say that I have lived in OG (oak Grove) for over 15 years and this place is my 2nd favorite place to hang out and talk guns and bullets (Rural King being the top shelf, all in one shop with your dog store with popcorn!!!)I have nothing but great stuff to say about the staff and the dog that own and operate this store. They are not over bearing, but helpful when you need assistance. The prices are pretty cool and they have a great selection of new & used weapon systems. The layaway program is Kool & the Gang ('80's reference) as well as they provide information on CCW as well as Class 3 licenses. This will become my new pistol purchasing outpost from now own. Thank you for all you do and please don't change up what you have that's working!!!

I can honestly say this is one of best gun/gunsmith places in town. I was here for over 3 hours and they helped me with all the issues I was having with a p80. The gave me step by step instructions on what was going wrong, along with the up most knowledge on firearms that they were willing to share. They have a wonderful staff, a family owned business. I gained so much knowledge from my visit. The pricing was overall very good for what your getting. Thank you josh for the help and the patients you had with me. I will be coming back whole heartedly, they are safe smart, and reliable, and honest. Thank you again TN gun and knife country for the outstanding work you guys do for customers.

Called looking for a specific style of holster for Left handed people (hard enough finding basic ones for left), went in and though the one that was pulled out for me was incorrect, she (Sorry I don't know name) brought me directly to the absolute perfect one immediately. Very knowledgeable about what they have, though it took a while to talk to someone (more customers than people working so no big deal, it's normal) it's a good place and friendly people. See some reviews of people that have a "me first" mindset, well you aren't special and need to learn some common decency. These folks are great to the people that come in to their shop.

Came in to buy a pistol and waited for 15 min at the gun counter with the employee, a female, small talking to someone else and ignoring customers. Not the first time I’ve had terrible service here and I will not be back. I’m sure they stay in business with the close proximity to base and young soldiers buying their first guns but being rude and obnoxious and indifferent is not a winning sales method.

Went in looking for a holster for my gun and became frustrated because I couldn’t find one made for my particular gun so I asked one of the workers for guidance and he had no problem with that, he was more then glad to help me but then we still couldn’t find a holster made for my particular gun so he told me to come back with my gun and he’ll see what he can do; now let me tell you he went far and beyond 😂… dude literally went through their selection of holsters and tried every holster on my gun to see if any of them were compatible, he could’ve just pointed me in a direction and said whatever but he physically tired every option possible and ended up finding one. So with that being said, if you are looking to purchase a gun or need any sort of guidance this is the place ! Customer service 10/10 and Prices 10/10 another plus about this place is you don’t feel any sort of EGO when walking through the door like every other gun store in this area, everyone is more then glad to help.

Went in looking to try a new place, see what they have. First thing I was greeted by was the smell of dog urine. Place is dirty, clutter everywhere, overpriced ammo, not much to look at. looked at the wall, made contact with the lady behind the counter and she stared at me with a nasty look like I spit in her cereal. Didn’t say anything to anyone at the counter, just browsed. Everything they had for sale you could get for cheaper elsewhere within a 20 minute drive (especially if you have access to the post exchange and they have what you want) The atmosphere turned me off from making a purchase, so I left. If you want a good selection of guns and rifles, or anything for that matter, go elsewhere.

Customer service is absolutely trash. Every time I come in this gun shop I get nasty looks. I came on looking to sell a gun and the owner was talking to a older man for 20 minutes about his personal life before she would acknowledge the presence of paying customers. It took her associate to come tap her and let her know we were waiting to talk to her for her to even look our way. She then gave us a nasty dirty look and said she’s not interested. Never again will I step foot in this gun shop.

Poor customer service... It was my first time in the store on 7 Feb, and it'll be my last. There were two guns in the case that I have been looking for and one at a very good price, but despite there being four adults behind the counter & only one other customer in the store, I was never once acknowledged. And even when I tried to speak to one of them, I was only met with a grunt and a blank stare, as if they were put out by me trying to get some service.

I found an obstruction in the barrel of a g19 while looking to buy. They rarely clear weapons before they give them to you. 2+2=surprise discharge, so I would definitely be wary when handling their merchandise.Now, about the service. If you know what you want it’s like going to any other gun store. Competitive pricing, great selection of very good products. Definitely do you fair share of research before you enter, if you don’t know what you want, they will bully you and pressure you into buying what’s gonna pad their products. Me picking my own firearm was pretty straight forward. When it came time for my wife to pick a firearm, they all of a sudden seemed to know more about her than I did. I could barely get a word in about how she should shop around the store and get a feel for multiple different weapons and see what she truly liked, without price being a factor.She was able to hold three guns. Luckily, I am happy with her decision.I think that day in particular was not the greatest day for the employees, overall I think it’s a fantastic store. But we definitely had an off experience.

The folks at Gun & Knife Country are fantastic! It’s a family owned store and they go out of their way to take care of customers. The shop usually has a large selection of handguns, traditional sporting arms, and modern sporting/tactical rifles, as well as ammo and accessories. It’s the only gun store I do business in.

Family owned and operated dump that smells like a kennel. Customer service is non-existent and upon getting the attention of the larger daughter with short red dyed hair that operates the counter, the professionalism proved to be non existent as well. She was smug, unprofessional, unknowledgeable and rude. Even after I proved her wrong on several aspects of what she was talking about. First of all, if you’re going to talk down to a customer about it, you better know the damn difference between a Glock 17, 19, and 45. Gross attitude.I’m a service member and this was my first gun purchase since PCSing here and I even told her that. I was polite and cordial with her even though she continually tried to be condescending and talk down to me. I thought “hey it’s just a dumb teenager let it go“ but her useless parents or whoever were sitting behind listening to her being smart and offensive and rude and didn’t say anything.I had my wallet out ready to purchase a gun and I was searching for some paperwork on my phone and she just had to say one more rude comment and then I walked out of there.Don’t waste your time at this place.Edit: Your child’s behavior reflects on you as a parent. If you’re gonna let them operate the counter at your store, maybe teach them to have an ounce of sense, professionalism, and courtesy. What a smug, disgusting girl.And clean the damn place up. Pig sty.

The staff are truly good people and have bent over backwards for me. It is the only place that I go for my gun needs outside of shopping online.

Very knowledgeable staff that can provide recommendations based on experience. I've purchased a hunting rifle from them in the past and it's one of the best performing rifles that I own. Recently I built an AR but didn't have a split ring tool for the handguard, I took my upper to them and it was installed in a flash. Excellent selection of firearms, too!

I usually have a nice experience here but today changed it. Went in to buy my daughter a rifle and I overheard a conversation that was by no means a quiet one. Lady told the customer “you should try rioting. Apparently that works if you don’t have a job.” The customer even asked her to not repeat what she said but she repeated it. The black co worker tried to hint her to stop. No dice. I appreciate the worker that asked her to stop. Loved this place but won’t get business from me or my family.

My experience at Gun and Knife Country was wonderful. As a woman It was so nice to walk into a gun shop and see multiple women working there. The employees really work with you and help you find a gun that fits you and your needs. They don't just push you toward the most expensive gun in the store, they make sure you are comfortable with what you are buying before you leave the store. They don't hesitate to answer any questions you have and make sure you understand the gun, laws, etc. I walked out with a Smith and Wesson M&P9 and I love it, it was everything the young lady told me it would be. Never buying a gun from anyone but them!

Good place to go. They're not rude just always extremely busy basically being right across the street from Fort Campbell. If your patient they will get to you. Best selection of firearms in the clarksville area. Very knowledgeable about their products aswell.

This is the only place in a 20 mile radius of Clarksville I found that even orders 25. Cal rounds. Plus they have some cool older guns for display and even though I'm broke, it's still nice to look at them and fantisize about walking out with one. (SKS, the new civilian M14, etc) Also there was a dog in the store. That would've been a 6th star if I could add one.

Very disappointing visit. I had Trump flags on my trucks and was asked to leave. I pulled out 2000 cash and asked what is my money not good here. I was then told my money is good but my political beliefs are not then told to leave. You would think a gun store would allow anyone to buy guns to uphold the 2nd amendment. Guess not. Very disgruntled vet.
