When I picture a small town diner in rural Kentucky, this is exactly the place that comes to mind. The waitress was so friendly and epitomizes "Southern Hospitality". The food was exactly the artery clogging goodness I was looking for! I got one of their cheeseburgers, spicy fries, and chicken nuggets. The only negative thing I could say was while I was there, one of the tables next to me had what looked like a couple of dirty ash trays. To me, it only added to that small town diner vibes albeit a bit strange.Parking: Plenty of parking around the entire building.Wheelchair accessibility: The entrance is level as well as the parking lot for easy access to the building.

One, I don't know about the food. The lady that greeted us was friendly. But dear lort, Smoking is allowed insid? I'm sure in a small country town that's OK with the locals. But I didn't even know it was legal to have Smoking indoors in Ky. We had to leave.

Traveling, wanted to find a great home town restaurant! And the Cat's Den was just the spot! Burgers where amazing, cole slaw, hot fudge cake and strawberry ice cream! Everything we ordered was awesome! The ladies working were the best, very friendly and we will add this to our top favorites!

Everytime I find myself in Nortonville, I want a double jumbo burger with bacon and cheese through the garden. This place is really a diamond in the rough, it's been here for years and years. Really awesome people, really awesome food, great value. Got to start making this a stop more often, I have missed it.

I love this place!!! I don't smoke, but if you are a smoker, you can smoke in here. If you are not a smoker, still ok, doesn't smell bad in here!!! Food is great, service is fast and they have the best waitresses and cooks around!!!!

I love their chuckwsgons. Their plate lunches are very reasonable and are tasty also. Unfortunately I ordered chicken fried steak and got brown gravy but it still tasted good. Their turkey and dressing lunch was very good.

Been going there since I was a little kid with my granddad. Don't let the dinky location fool you, it's seriously the best. Great food, great prices, nicest servers, and they have the BEST burgers (right up there with Ferrell's) I actually looked them up just because I'm craving a Cat's Den burger, and I live 2 hours away! lol

Actually one of my favorite restaurants for catfish on a Friday. You can have the 2 pc. fish fried as whole filets or as I prefer cut into bite sized pieces. You get 2 sides and hush puppies. Being on a ketogenic plan I cheat because of the breading but this is a small cheat for me. The fish is cooked very well and is always good(never had a poorly or overcooked fish here). They make their own tartar sauce which is some of the best I've tasted(light years beyond store bought). Also have to recommend their blue cheese dressing if you have a salad. They also make their own and it is thick and creamy with chunks of blue cheese and excellent. The only drawback I can see for many people is the restaurant is smoker friendly. If that's a problem get it to go and eat at the city park. Fish plate with sides is around $10 and you will be very satisfied.

People come from all over for our home cooked food. Nobody beats our breakfast around here (at least that's what we're always hearing). For lunch and dinner: Meat Loaf, Turkey & Dressing, Catfish Fridays, Chicken n' Dumplings... Just to name a few. If u don't wanna come in to eat, just call and make an order to go. We'll meet you at the drive thru window. ☺

I ordered Mom a BBQ Sandwich and got it home and all it was was pulled pork in a container with BBQ Sauce in a little packet with No Buns or Bread of any kind. This isn't the First time either. Many times Orders are wrong when I get home. This is an inconvenience since these meals are my Parents who I take care of. It's okay though many other places I can take my business.
