The young girl who works here is awesome!! So friendly and helpful. She's sweet and talks to customers as if they are old friends. You can tell she is genuine and simply a decent human being. You have a gem here. I'd keep her!!!

Will never go here again. Went here as it was convenient to our morning errands. When we went in, there was nobody in the store but us and two employees with one customer leaving as we came in. It stayed very much not busy for our trip. We went in for maybe 6 household items, some things weren’t in stock. No big deal but at that point, I wish we had just chosen to walk out and go to a different location because at checkout, we were met with complete rudeness. The woman working the cash register scoffed at everything. My fiancé was having trouble putting our number in. Turns out it’s because the woman did not void the previous transaction like she was supposed to. She kept acting like it was our fault and scoffing. Then the other woman came up which I assume was the manager because she was the only one that could void transactions. The cashier started acting like my fiancé was trying to use double coupons by doubling numbers which wasn’t the case. That’s not even a thing you can try to do. But this had the manager giving us the worst looks paired with an attitude. Had the previous transaction been voided properly, we wouldn’t have been standing there for so long. Both women had an attitude. You’d think we were trying to get away with hundreds of stolen goods. Really, we were in there for 6 items coming out with 4 because of stock issues. I’ve seen cashiers get nasty with couponers, which is never okay, but we weren’t even getting enough to use the $5 off $25 deal. There was truly no reason for the rudeness of the two employees. My fiancé kept apologizing for the trouble even when it wasn’t her fault. The cashier simply said, with an attitude, “it’s been a crazy day”. It was 11 am. They weren’t open for long. There should’ve been no excuses for the attitude. We will never be back to this location. I will always drive the extra time to go anywhere else.

Love the prices on an estimated 90% of their stuff. However, the reason for just 3 stars is their inventory is a mess...big mess. It makes the store look dirty which may deter some shoppers. All the cashiers are very friendly and the customer service is great

This place stays busy most of the time. I feel like they should have at least two cashiers when there are so many people trying to check out. But I do understand that one person is stocking and the other person is cashiering.

Thi as store has been closed early every night early for a few days now. What’s up with that? I went 2 nights ago around 7:00 and it was already closed. I though store hours were 9am - 9 pm? This is my favorite Dollar General so just wandering.

I absolutely LOVE the digital coupons offered on the DG App. I wish they had more selection of particular products, but overall it's a great place to get basic household products. Be sure to do the survey on your receipt the save an additional $3 off $15! Employees are very friendly & helpful.

I needed house shoes, they only had two pair of women's. All Dollar general stores in general hardly carry any diet sodas. Otherwise, I generally have good experiences at this store. I had great customer service at the Edgewood in Nicholasville location today😊!

This place is very disorganized. Somethings said they where on sale with no price. Everything is thrown everywhere. I really dont knkw what the workers do when their working. Or maybe the worker could benefit with someone helping them. Hire someone else to help. Prices are very high. Higher then walmart. Wont shop or buy anything there.

Associates are very kind and helpful. However, the store is filthy and disorganized. I get in and out. I also do not shop there very often. I only shop there because I frequent thrifty parrot right next door.

I love this store. The staff is always very friendly in every nicholasville location however only the edgewood location carry black hair care products. When I asked my favorite most visited location on Quinn Dr in nicholasville to also stock black haircare products I was disappointed to hear the manager tell me the owner was unwilling to stock the shelves with ethnic haircare products. Not very shocked bc of the town's history with people of color but I thought it was quite inconsiderate that the owner just flat out won't purchase products for the entire community. People of color have no specialized salons or products in this town so when we happen to find them they sell quickly. He'd make a killing if he catered to us as well. We do exist you know.

There is always a person on register or close by to help the customers and make sure they find everything they need the store is very neat and tidy and everything is easy to find.

Smaller store. Restocking and moving lots of stuff around. Like other Dollar Generals, they have eliminated the dedicated cashier position...ring the bell for service.

This place is hardly ever open on time. I have gone to this one a couple different times around 9 am and they still have the doors locked. Very frustrating. Either change the hours or open on time.
