The service at this Dollar General was top notch. When other competitors around town told me they couldn’t help me fill up my helium balloons for my son’s birthday party the staff at this location came through for me. I called ahead and talked to a nice employee named Gauge who said they’d be happy to help. Upon coming into the store Jake helped me out with getting the balloons inflated. He was super personal, made a connection with my family, chatted with my son about his birthday. He then told us about the Dollar General app (which I ended up downloading) and all of the coupons on it. He went over the sale bill with us to tell us about the different offers they were running. It was incredible service. These employees deserve recognition for caring about their customers and doing the right thing for their business. We even came right back in and bought a few of the things that we were planning to buy from the big box retailer down the street just because of the friendliness of this staff. Well done Dollar General Orchard!

The store was freshly stocked except the dairy case. No boxes were sitting in the aisles. The floor needs a good scrubbing and waxed. Very kind, patient and helpful cashiers. The manager helped me set up online coupons for the store. It took about 15 min but she was able to help me and wasn't annoyed. I saved $3.00 today.

Super friendly staff!! Everyone there always seems to have a smile even tho the front of the store is blazing hot because corporate controls it remotely. Sometimes the store is a bit messy but thats usually only on truck days and the next day everything is fine. "Corporate" needs to come and work at the register for a day or two and then maybe they will show some mersy and turn the air conditioning down. Despite sweat dripping from the staff and it being cooler outside than in the store, they are always very nice and welcoming. They always have a warm smile the makes people want to come back again.

This store is one of the better ones. The staff is very friendly, and I have absolutely nothing against it, and I'm gonna have to say, the Dollar General in Bryantsville is actually the ONLY Dollar Store within a 40 mile radius that I like better than this one!! But they earned it with their kindness and professionalism!!

There are 3 Dollar General locations in Nicholasville. There's one in Edgewood Shopping Plaza, one behind the Minit Mart on the bypass, and one in the shopping plaza on Main St next to Harbor Freight tools. In my experience all of them are decently stocked, staffed by friendly workers and prices are reasonable. The one issue I have isn't the store itself but some of the individuals that shop there. I've encountered broken glass, empty packages and general, all around messes where shoppers have just dug thru things and left the mess behind. I truly believe Customer Service in many places is severely lacking but these don't seem to be those places. However, customers in general need to have more respect for the stores (and employees)they frequently use/visit.

Convenient location with good parking. Store is clean, neatly organized, variety of those everyday needed items that are always reasonably priced. Friendly staff, efficient, fast check out.

Excellence. Associate was very helpful. I needed help finding a cpl items. She seemed to be multitasting very well. The store looked clean and uncluttered which is a switch. The other dollar generals in Nicholasville, ky are always very cluttered and hard to find items I need especially when I need to be quick, it get frustrating.

The guy whom was stocking merchandise was on cell phone for the entire time I was there , talking about personal problems, seemed inappropriate to be at work on your phone. The gentleman at the register was very kind and helpful.

It's the dollar store. They have what you need in an off-brand package. It beats having to deal with walmart if you need 1 or 2 things quick.

They are slow at customer service check out. They have 3 registers and never have all of them open. You literally are in line about 20 mins a day. Store is always unorganized and smells.
