While shopping at Bargain Hunt in Nicholasville (where I am a frequent shopper and have always enjoyed shopping at), I was followed by two store employees because of the size of my purse. I asked the gentleman if there was anything I could help him with while looking at an item. He raised his eyebrows at me and looked at my purse. I went over to the gentleman and showed him the contents of my purse. As I'm showing him the contents of my purse, he was condsendingly looking at me and my purse. I also held my purse out to him and asked him if he'd like to go through my purse with no response, just a stare. After sharing the contents of my purse with him, I promptly left the store.Bargain Hunt do better.I will never shop at Bargain Hunt again.

I got all items for my Christmas dinner. And they have CASHIERS unlike Wally World and Kroger where you have to self check out. PLEASE !

I’ve been here many times. The workers are nice and the store is clean. However the only stuff that is noticeably discounted is the food. Any items from target such as decor or bedding is only a couple dollars from what you would pay at the actual store. Might as well go there instead and get what you want.Was hoping for something similar to Dirt Cheap in the more southern states. If they would offer extra % off these items or discount them a bit more it’d be different

We frequently (2x weekly) spend 1k+ for our business at bargain hunt and we've noticed a Not so friendly cashier.Actually the young man who saw us approaching the counter on 2 separate trips see us with 3 buggies full will direct us to another register while he then proceeds to wait on a customer A BEHIND US. Not a very pleasant feeling when we spend at least 3 peoples paychecks per visit🤷

Eats bargain Hunt seems to have a little bit more of things that the other ones don't. So you kind of have to really hit like two or three of them to get a good feel of what they've got. But I love it

We only go here once in a while but they do have great deals. The discount bins are cool, my wife loves them. Gotta dig through piles of stuff but we found some good stuff for only $7

Very friendly staff and awesome deals! They are very helpful, and unlike other places, they don't follow you around the store hoping to catch a shoplifter. The atmosphere is fun and calm, deals are even better! I love the cheat sheets they have at the front of the store to help calculate discounts. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because their clothing selection is outdated, but other than that, I love to hunt for bargains here!

This is a lot like a Ross. Mixed racks, seems to be clearance items from Target and JCPenny, ect. The prices are good.

Some good deals, and if you are tight on funds, a nice place to find those items that are nice to have, but overall I've found little worth the trips here. Much of there merchandise is damaged, outdated or repackaged which is why the price is so low. It is nice to see that stuff with cosmetic issues gets a chance to be used instead of going in a landfill. It's definitely a hunt for the bargains simply because you never know what you will see.

This place is awesome. You can always find a deal, but the customer service is impeccable. Aaron went above and beyond to help my mother and I. Not only did he help bring the patio set to the car, but he also took the time to pack it in, which was by no means an easy feat. We are most appreciative. It's definitely worth a visit.

I purposely went there to buy a Jeep Power Wheels Hurricane for my 4 year old daughter. I found 2 left and walked away with a good deal, or so i thought. I got home and spent the next 3 hours after a long days work putting this thing together. I noticed once i was about 90% done that there was no steering wheel to be found. I was bummed out because obviously my daughter wanted to test drive it immediately. Since i had to charge the battery overnight anyway, I figured i would call the store the next morning (Saturday). I called when they opened the next day and was told i could bring it back and get the other one they still had in stock. I was not about to return this thing after spending my night putting it all together just for a steering wheel. I asked if they could check the other one they had in the store and they did confirm that Jeep did have a steering wheel. They said i could just take it rather than returning mine just for the wheel. That really made our day after knowing my only other option was to order one online from Power Wheels. The management and staff were very kind and accommodating with the whole situation. I have shopped there before but I would encourage others to do so as well. My daughter was smiling and laughing the whole time once i got home and got that steering wheel on. I just wanted to say thank you to this Nicholasville Ky Bargain Hunt store.

We shop here often. The store is getting organized now that they have hired more help. The new manager(I think her name is Jenn) is so friendly and we always appreciate her help when we have questions. Out of all the Bargain Hunt stores near us this store is hands down our favorite to shop at!!

Nicholasville store is up and coming! The manager there along with her team are always friendly and helpful. They are constantly improving the store making it easier to find the bargains. I do like the fact that they take the time to make sure customers are getting their money's worth by offering to scan items for them while they are shopping.

Not always a great deal, but usually find something worth the stop. Gotta watch them though. Once found a Green and Black chocolate bar priced at $20, and even when I told the cashier it must be a mistake,because they have them right at the grocery store for $2.50, she wouldn't change the price.

$44.00 for a self watering bottle that is about the same as a soda bottle filled and poked down into the soil to gradually water plants. $65 for 12 ounce bag of sugar.They had advertised it would be possible to find good bargains!I won't waste my time there.

Happened to see it driving by with my wife and went in to check it out. Found some great deals. We got about $70 worth of stuff for $15. We live about an hour away so we won't be making any special trips here but will definitely stop in when we are in town.

This is the best place to shop. They have so many different things to buy and to shop for. They have a wide variety of clothes for men, women and kids. It's not very expensive. Some things are easy to find. The only thing I have bad to say is that everything is just kinda put here and there. It's not organized by the item and the clothes are all just mingled in together. The only thing that is separating them is the women's is in spot and the men's is in another but overall I love the prices and the stock they carry

This Bargain Hunt used to be the best one but the past three or so times that I've been there, it's so disgustingly torn apart and trashed that I don't want to go back. Everything is thrown on the floor or just destroyed in general and it makes it incredibly difficult to find anything. I understand it's a bargain shopper's place, but I shouldn't feel like I'm dumpster diving.

They had a lot of space cleared out for the holiday merchandise, so not as much of a variety as usual. Plus they used to have a "foo-foo" isle. That's what I call it😊 just odd ended things that don't really fit anywhere. Fun finds🤗 Nope. All organized and ready for the next holiday. Although they had some halloween items that had been picked through. So, I found some non-floride toothpaste and a couple of organic snacks. So, good trip, but not what I was looking for 🤷.

This place is really hit or miss for items. By design the stock changes constantly. You truly never know what you will find. The staff is usually friendly and helpful, and I have had ni issues when I need to return something (keep you receipt! )

I think this is one of those places that you have to frequently often in order to get the best deals. I enjoyed looking around and did purchase a few items. The store was quite messy but that just means there had been a few people in there!

well as far as products go i rate it a 5. prices are low. they have athletic wear, seasonal wear, home goods, a few food items, baby items, as well as shoes, some name brands. when it comes to organization i give it 1star. that part is horrible. not just horrible but horrifying. it's worse than going through a goodwill bin. The adult and children clothes are all lumped together and not even by correct size. my daughter needed jeans and i needed work pants. i just happened upon a pair of size 16 girls right beside my size 16w work pants. she actually wears a 4 in junior's at times. words can't Express how frustrating going through each aisle looking for specific sizes. my daughter gave up and i did as well trying to find her some much needed pants. I'll try to post pictures soon to show the absolute chaos(not even organized chaos) of the clothing disaster in there. even an employee agreed with my complaint and couldn't point me in the direction of children's clothes. PICTURES TO FOLLOW SOON. however a video would do better justice as i could actually show how plus, junior's, and kids are all together and out of order.

We love Bargain Hunt! It's a close out store that has a little bit of everything. You never know what they may have that you can't live without. It's fun to peruse the shelves and find great deals through their date discount program also.

It was not what I expected. When I walked in it was like I was looking at at disorganized large storage bin. Stuff was just all over the shelves and they had bins filled with different items to dig through. As for the prices, I don't know why it is called Bargain Hunt, I didn't find any Bargains there. I will be sticking with Walmart and Ollie's to receive bargains. It definitely does not look like the pictures on the web site. I have been in Good Wills that had more organizations than this place. This was my first and last time going to Bargain Hunt.

I like Bargain Hunt but the merchandise is somewhat crammed together and piled up with a lot of stuff being torn up or broken. Another really frustrating thing I've noticed is that the employees will pick through what clothing they want and put it behind the register so the customers cannot get it. For example I was there one day and they had North Face jackets for sale but the employees has gotten all of the ones they wanted leaving none for anyone else, I know this because they told me they put it behind the register. Definitely does not come off very professional.

Phillis (the manager) is the most unprofessional and rude person I have EVER met. The way she talks to her employees and customers like they are dogs is just unbelieveable. How is this woman still employed? This store has gone downhill...but I was willing to overlook the mess. I am however NOT willing to overlook the blatant disregard for respect towards other human beings by this manager. Someone fire this woman!!!Update: tried to call the service number to let them know how appalled I was... they didn't answer and the voicemail was full. So I won't be returning to this store as long as that woman is working there.

I love this store. Every time you go in you will find something they didn’t have the time before. They never have a lot of it though. If you see something you like, better grab it cause it may be gone tomorrow.

Bargain Hunt has yet again snapped back on its punitive pricing policy following the acquisition by it's new ownership. Following a holiday season with some decent deals to be had, items are now wildly overpriced, compared to their true original retail value. People are not dumb. Bargain Hunt's ownership should not treat us as though we are.
