Excellent selection, clean, well-organized. Parking is easy. Has many “extras” - A bank, Starbucks, clothing and local sports fan items.Restrooms are clean (near the bank). Great flower selection and friendly staff at the flower counter.

Shop here quite frequently, as it’s the closest Kroger to where we live. But the last 2 visits have been a disappointment. My husband stopped to get flowers for Valentines Day, as many people do… he said the flower department was packed with customers. He picked some where everyone else was shopping for flowers (I am going to guess we weren’t the only customers disappointed) he brought them home and after opening them up at home to put in a vase we found they were rotting and had literal mold on them. Had to throw over half of them away! From the red wrapping around them they looked like good pretty flowers but once we opened them up inside was foul. Highly disappointed.

Bought 6 of the same item. Price scanned incorrectly. Informed checkout attendant. She checked printed ad, not shelf. I asked her to remove items because I was not paying more than tagged price. I walked all the way to the very back aisle with a cart full and two kids to check the price myself. The price I reported was on the shelf in multiple places .It was an expired price tag. Walked back to the front of the store and reported to customer service, showing a picture of the tags. I was told that if I wanted to go back and get the items they would honor the price. There was no way I was making that round trip again with a full cart and two kids. Very glad this is not my local store.

So, here's the thing. I don't like Kroger as a company and I also don't like Kentucky. That said, this is the best Kroger location I've ever been to. The Norwood lateral construction has made the Oakley and Hyde Park locations virtually inaccessible to me, and Kroger just lets their locations in the poorer neighborhoods be filthy and horrible,so I tried Newport, and now I'm just going to wait until after rush hour and go 'overseas' to this location irrespective of the Norwood construction. Huge selection, most things are in-stock even during sales, the store is very clean, the checkout lines are not long, they have the smaller carts and they're in a better state of repair than the ones in Cincinnati, parking is plentiful and not designed as such that someone nearly hits you every time you visit (Corryville hot mess, I am looking at you!). This location has yielded the best Kroger experiences I've had. Yes, prices are stupidly high despite record profits and they don't treat or pay their employees fairly, but the only cheaper place I've found is Walmart, which is the worst shopping experience available in my experience. One needs a support group after visiting Cincinnati Walmart locations. Too, the digital deal coupons can save you a ton of money if you have the Kroger app. It was like $35 off my my last $130 purchase.

I had one of the assistant managers call this location to get a price check on the chicken. The lady on the other end laughed and said" I'm no longer doing chicken for the day" and hung up the phone on him. Tried calling back 2 different times and each time after asking to speak to a manager was put on hold for 10 and 15 minutes. I know customer service is very important for any place of business. I do believe they should retain the staff.

This Kroger is a large store with many offerings. Prices are so high and they do not care. Record profits are being made and corporations have not raised their employee wages much and continue to raise food prices to gouge consumers.

Great place for your monthly groceries. The produce is quite fresh. The other sections are also having a very good quality products. Their own private labels - STO (Simple Truth Organic) and Private Selection products are great with very reasonable price. There is a bulk section but is very small and limited number of options. Although relatively it's better since the competitors Target and Walmart don't have any kind of bulk section at all. However, I have seen much larger bulk sections in Winco in Texas. So, coming from there, it is a disappointment. There is also a salad bar right next to the bulk section which has all kinds of veggies, fruits and meats that go into a salad. The bakery isn't so great though. We tried a couple of things like cheesecake and Tiramisu and they were okay.There is also a pharmacy and walk-in clinic which is good. Generally there is a little wait time involved in the clinic. The nurse and the rest of the staff is good.We have been purchasing groceries from here since last four months and are very much satisfied. The staff is good and quite supportive. On some occasions we did come across 1-2 folks who were rude but otherwise the people have been very supportive.

We bought fried chicken for dinner.My husband asked for 4 chicken wings and 4 thighs.Instead we received 5 wings 4 breasts..and the coating was orange with a Spanish seasoning. Terrible flavor.What's chance of getting GOOD fried chicken??1 star rating..it was hot.

This seems like one of the largest Krogers in in terms of the area. They do have Pharmacy Marketplace pick up instacart options available as well. That is free parking. Kroger Liquor and Kroger gas station are nearby. It's wheelchair accessible. Options for every item are many, so you better come prepared to what to buy.

I have a 50/50 love/hate thing going on for this Newport Kroger. For one, I LOVE this Monstera bag I found today and really want it for my birthday! I LOVE the employees at Kroger, and I LOVE the selection MUCH better than the smaller Covington Kroger. But honestly, I avoid this place like the plague after 10am. Parking sucks so bad right off the bat. It's a battle between dodging cars and hitting pedestrians trying to get in and out of the parking spaces, the lot just isn't big enough for the population of people anymore. The pharmacy is so backed up I switched to Walgreens 10 years ago and nothing has changed for the Kroger pharmacy lines. Honestly I do love this place. Just do not go during rush hour!!

If I could give them no stars for their customer service on the phone. I called to get a price on chicken the lady laughed and said she’s not doing chicken any longer for the day and hung up on me. Tried to call back two different times and was put on hold for 10 and 15 minutes after asking to speak to a manager.I will not be returning to this location agai.

This review is meant to draw attention to a Visa Gift Card scam VISA is running and Kroger and/or USBank are part of, either knowingly or unknowingly. This particular Kroger is a decent place to shop, but this is my best course of action at pointing out this problem. I was given a gift card purchased from Kroger that I cannot use, so the money is effectively stolen by all parties involved. Card services says my card was locked due to 'fraudulent' activity. How would you even determine gift card activity as fraud when they are not associated to a specific person like a check card is? If your cards are so easily hacked, THEN DESIGN A BETTER SYSTEM! They want me to send a copy of the receipt AND a photo id to unlock the gift card. It was given to me as a gift and I have no receipt, nor should I need it or to send them a photo id in order to use a gift card given to me that should basically be treated as cash. I have a $50 paperweight. Thanks so much to all parties involved. DO NOT BUY VISA GIFT CARDS FROM THIS BUSINESS OR ANY OTHER BUESINESS

They could have more assisted checkout lines.Kroger stores are easily the most complete, well stocked, full service super stores in our region.However the pharmacy should do away with the 1:00 to 1:30 lunch closing, this isn't Mayberry. The only major complaint is waiting behind 5 other cars,in the pharm #1 pickup window line, next to a closed #2 pick up window. The same problem with the in store lines.

The produce here is better than the fresh thyme. It is clean and the staff always tries to do their best to help. The app is great for getting deals on the go if you are a smartphone guy like me.

A nice Kroger Marketplace with some recent updates including Eli's Bbq and an expanded seating area for their Starbucks. The biggest problem is parking - in part due to its popularity.

The pizza place inside Krogers always has burnt pizza. Ask to see the bottom of the pizza. It was so burnt it was impossible to chew through. I have brought this to the employees attention each time. However, nothing is ever done. I also enjoy the chicken dinners but the greenbeans are raw and the mac & cheese nasty. I was told by numerous employees they wanted to switch to one brand (Home Chef) for everything and that all customers hate the change. Listen to your employees Krogers! They deal more with the general public.

Every other time I go here my car gets nicked. The number of grocery carts left out in the parking lot is absurd. The return stations are constantly full and carts are abandoned between vehicles and on islands. The bottom of the lot always has half a dozen carts that rolled down hill scratching cars as they go. Between negligent employees and lazy customers, the safest place to park is at a different grocery store.

If you can stay away from this place that's what I highly recommend. I use the pick up option for my clients and Every time it is nothing but a hassle. For example She uses EB TI literally have to wait outside most times for like almost 20 minutes before anyone even comes out. Secondly I accidentally left her bank card there and I called about it and the Rude person who answered the phone was extremely rude. Half of the time they don't even put my clients orders in right so she never gets everything she orders it's just a joke. These people really need retrain.

By far the worst Kroger around, don't know why the hog head that runs the front desk can't keep it open according to the hours listed but hey numbers are hard!! Three out of the last five days they have been closed multiple hours early. I won't be wasting my time at this location again.
