Fresh Thyme use to be a great place to shop for local or small company, quality food. Now it feels as though they sold their soul. They never carried national products. Now the have come and Pepsi and other low quality foods. Also I don't know why they had to go to self check out. I don't work there so why am I working there for free? Now I drive farther to Fresh Market or Trader Joe's. I'm done with Fresh Thyme.

I've been here a few times shopping for orders as a doorsasher. I went last Thursday and had an amazing experience. It was only my 3rd time being to the store so I must've looked confused trying to locate products and one of the employees who was working in the frozen department at the time, helped me find everything I was looking for! I really wish I would have gotten his name because he was so helpful and personable! Made my trip way shorter than what it would have been, had I shopped alone. Customer service is amazing, I see a lot of variety if you're looking for organic, or gluten free or vegetarian options.

WOW... their apple cider is the best store bought cider I've ever had. Better than grandma's! Yes, that good.I've shopped there twice but it's now my go- to grocer starting today.Many great items that aren't available at other stores.

Clean store, friendly staff, fresh produce, plenty of organics and health foods. Boar's Head lunch meats AND boar meat, venison, bison and other wild game. Great weekly deals and digital coupons. Love shopping here!

Not a bad place if you don't mind being asked for donation money when you are paying for groceries. The woman at the register called me out in front of everyone and asked me for a donation. I did not come there to be panhandled.Very rude and uncalled for. I will never shop there again.

Shopped here for the 1st time today. Drove 5 mi. across the river from SE Ohio. I was impressed to find 'some' things, cheaper than Kroger.😳 I came for a whole fryer chicken, and of course, they were out. Kroger, does not carry ANY chicken that is not full of antibiotics and hormones.👎 But, I'll be back! Store was super clean, wide open aisles, and staff was very friendly.👍✌️

We love this store. The location is great, and the staff is always very helpful. We really appreciate all of the different food and product offerings they have available. One of our favorite items is their fresh made peanut butter. It is delicious!Update July 2023I just came in here to purchase some straks, and there was a fly sitting 9n the meat. I looked up, and there were more flying around the back. I gave the associates a heads up, and they just said "that's what happens when you leave the doors open." He then attempted to brush the fly away. I promptly turned tail, and left the store. No way I am buying $25 dollar a pound steaks that have had flies on them. Yikes!

Won't be back.- no register lines open at 7:00-7:30- watermelon not ripe. Watery but bland- plums not ripe, rather crunchy and sour- Cantaloupe not ripe, bland+ mangos overripe but sweet- if you're going to call yourself a market at least stuff that's fresh and RIPEJust poor quality fruit all the way around.

Friendly, nice atmosphere. Everything you could want under one roof. They have fresh meats. Offer cooked foods. It's delicious 😋. The coffee ☕ is great. I love the Jamaican Blue Blend. I was just talking/advertising to my neighbor about you guys. I'm happy to know that you have a store in Newport.

I love this store! I found everything I needed plus some. Two issues: no employees were wearing masks; cinnamon scented pine cones were overwhelming. I'm high risk for COVID though fully vaccinated and allergic to strong fragrances. Shopping here actually puts my life in danger so I won't be back for a very long time.

This was my first time and I really enjoyed it. I live in Alexandria and had been driving to whole foods in Ohio. The store was very clean and organized. All of the staff were helpful. I went in for just a fruit bowl but left with a cart full of stuff. I will definitely be returning after discovering this place.

Let me start with the disclaimer that I'm not a health food person. I shop here only for the excellent meat and produce selection. Their sale prices on these are phenomenal. The employees at the meat counter are knowledgeable and friendly, much more enjoyable to deal with than those at most grocery chains. Their fresh juices and bulk food sections are great for those interested. I've never ventured beyond those sections, the dry grocery section seems to be pricey.

Dear Fresh Thyme, I love your store, it is my favorite place to shop! You have an excellent variety and large selection of just about everything, always in stock, friendly staff, and just about anything "natural" you could possibly think of, I used to shop there a lot until they got rid of the store in Louisville and then I had to drive 1 1/2 hours away to go to Cincinnati. I make trips frequently. My favorite thing in the whole wide world is your your amazing OJ and fresh juices. I tell EVERYONE about it and recommend it to EVERYONE! I just bought two large OJ and I noticed the price inflation. I wasn't that bothered because I believe in quality and I know the juice is worth the squeeze and the price. I unfortunately bought two large ones due to the fact I'm about 1 1/2hours away I always stock up on them and I was EXTREMELY disappointed. The juice was watered down tasting and not the taste I was craving and used to and also expecting. I spend $20 on water flavored OJ 👎🍊. I wouldn't write a review or complain if I wasnt an avid OJ buyer and shopper from your store.

So helpful and genuine! I stopped in for two particular items, 1 they do not carry any more. When I inquired if they are still carrying it, the gentleman at the deli went to find out and gave me multiple tips on how to make sure they can bring it back. The cashier and bagger we're also very kind and sincere, I always have a great experience when I go there. I will be back even if they do not get the red dragon cheese back in!

Friendly staff spacious store. Staff and customers wear masks. No screaming kids or chaos. Small enough to get in and out, but large selection. Prices well marked and parking lot has old style larger parking spaces.

Fresh Market is great. I compare them to Trader Joe's and in some ways it's better. Weekly ads and special deals with great prices. They have a butcher on staff. They have weight scales! Produce isn't pre-weighed and packaged. I found everyone there friendly and helpful, going out of their way to help you find things often walking with you to whatever you're looking for. They have a good app with coupons to load to your loyalty program, easy to navigate and make out a shopping list.

I really like this store. It has the best health food and organic products. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because of the layout. The layout is not customer friendly. You end up walking all over the store to fill your list.

I felt healthier the moment I walked in to this store! If you care about what you eat, then this is your place. The produce is so fresh that you can smell it through out the whole store. They have a terrific selection of nuts where you can make your own butter. They even make their own sausages with ingredient combinations that you may never find anywhere in the Tri State. There are some many highlights about this store that you just must see for yourself! As Always, Enjoy!

Fresh thyme is a good place to shop, mainly because they carry a nice assortment of high quality items. Some organic, some not. The choices are appropriate. However, prices on quite a few things are slightly higher than the competition while prices on advertised specials are better. So I go buy those things and little else - making a trip to another store necessary to get everything I want until the next time.

Shopping here is peaceful and makes me happy. It's smaller than a Kroger and way less busy than any other grocer, and has all the products I want. Especially love the bulk shopping (it's easy to go zero waste here!), bakery, and health and wellness items. One reviewer complained there isn't much organic, I disagree. However she is right that this is not a farmers market, that part of their name is confusing. Not a lot of local product and I've never seen a farmer there :)

Overall the experience was great. It wasn't too crowded and had a wide variety of items to choose from. However, the bulk food section is lacking many staple items. Most of the bulk products are candy or nuts. There was no bulk pasta, peanut butter, or beans/legumes at my last shopping experience.

We love shopping here. They have fresh food and produce. Really great prices when you get stuff on sale from there ad. They also have coffee beans, fresh peanut butter, bulk items like nuts, flour, candy etc. Fresh honey and maple syrup, fresh olive oils and more. Highly recommend trying them out. We always buy there homemade chicken sausages from the meat counter. They have a ton of flavors to choose from. They also make Pork sausages as well in a variety of flavors.

First time to this Fresh Thyme. The gal at the register was nice & helpful, but the gal in the produce didn't do anything when tomatoes fell off of a table onto the floor. My son went over & picked them up & placed them back on the table. She never said thank you or anything. She just kept putting whatever out on the table on the opposite side. She probably caused the tomatoes to fall. Otherwise, the store was clean. The produce didn't look as fresh as other Fresh Thyme stores I have been into. The rest of the departments I was in looked like most Fresh Thyme stores. They do have some good sales & on Wednesday they honor the Wednesday ad that is expiring that day & the Thursday ad. It saves me a trip & seeing as it is not close it saves me gas & time. I would recommend stopping & checking it out.

I was a long time patron of this store sister company Sprouts out West, so I was pretty happy to see a location similar to Sprouts here. The same layout and as usual the same great selection. More importantly the first person I dealt with in this location was polite and stopped to talk with us. I enjoy shopping somewhere where it feels like the employees are really vested in their company.

I LOVE THIS STORE!!!!! I'm dairy, gluten, corn, egg, and oat free. This store makes it so easy to find what I need. My first visit was a little overwhelming, I was so new to my allergies, but the more I return, the more I fall in love. Fresh produce, hard to find items, all sorts of types of meats and fish, I could go on and on. But I wont, just go experience it for yourself.
