Unlike the rude and unfriendly staff at the pendleton location, the service at new castle was good and helpful... Connie is the only friendly person at pendleton, fire everyone else...they don't say" hello" ,"thanks "...I can go on forever..I'm in costumer service, I'd would lose my job if I acted like the employees there...

This Dollar General was well stocked. The establishment was clean and organized. Everything was easy to find and when I asked the cashier to point me in the right direction, she knew exactly where my item was. The employees are always friendly and polite.

We live near New Castle and this Dollar General Store is a great convenience. Before it opened a year or so ago a gas station was the only nearby store.Dollar General isn't a supermarket, but they do offer a fair inventory of grocery items. Not fresh meat, fruit or vegetables however. Definitely not where we do most shopping, but very convenient for a quick trip to buy a few items.They offer a variety of household goods and general merchandise, also convenient for quick trip shopping.No alcoholic beverages, lottery tickets or gasoline, all of which are available at the gas station a few hundred yards away.This store is newer and larger than most other Dollar General stores I have visited. The layout appears more efficient, especially the checkout location. Checkout at some Dollar General stores is just inside the door, resulting in delay and congestion, while the arrangement in this store facilitates a more customer friendly experience.The employees here are friendly, helpful and efficient. The store is clean and the inventory well stocked.The facility is wheelchair accessible.Adequate convenient free parking.

I go to this particular dollar store almost daily. It's always clean and will kept. Yes when seasonal deliveries are in there are usually arrive carts in way, but it's a retail store. Only bad experience ever was with one employee/cashier with rude like behavior. But can't let one bad egg spoil the whole bunch.

I don't know why but it always takes forever to get checked out here. The store is typically a wreck. On my last visit 2 roll carts of new merchandise were blocking the merchandise I needed, so I left. The attendants are generally helpful and friendly.

Like so many other dollar stores while it has consistent variety of items the prices are not as good as the sign on the front and implies plus they tend to be terribly disorganized, small aisles that are hard to get through and offer an incomplete number of items for your needs. I avoid them when I can.

Great place, great service, great products. But they need to manage when they stock the bigger kept together items when people aren't in the store. Or at least create more space.

The doors where opened this morning at your store , so I went in. I was told to leave rudely by a young boy employee because the store was closed. So I told him that the doors was opened.I still had to leave without what i needed. As soon as i walked out the door. He said you can now come in and turned on the remaining lights. How rude and disrespectful to your costumers!

It was a zoo this evening, because one employee went to eat supper. 15 people in line. One guy operating 2 registers. Yes really! Also one credit card machine makes you swipe your card 3 times. Its been that way for months. Try Walmart.

I love this store. It almost always has what I need in stock with the exception of liquid creamer, that's a hit and miss because it sells quickly. All in all great store and glad it came to town :).

Great little store for little things you need between making the longer trek to the big city for the big grocery trip. Prices are what you'd expect at a Dollar General. Staff has always been friendly.

Dollar Store means a lot to me I went in there today and got my stuff and one of the girls to help me I have to have a total hip and knee surgery I can no longer work and she helped me get my stuff and take my stuff to the car it meant a lot to me thank you so much

They have a helpful staff and the shelves are always stocked and have what I need. They are open til 10 pm too which is awesome.
