Great little store for fish. They also have shrimp and African Mini frogs (that's what I purchased, she is very active and I love watching her antics. She is just so darn cute. And a camera deva!). A nice assortment for your tank. They also carry a supply of plants, both live and artificial, and food. Don't forget to ask about the promo for savings on future purchases.

Huge shoutout to fish hut. I’ve had a 75 gallon freshwater aquarium for a little over two years. I purchased it and fish from a big retailer in Paducah. I was constantly struggling to keep my aquarium clean, and fish alive. The retailer kept selling me different chemicals, as well as algae eating fish. I was still having a difficult time keeping up with it.In the beginning of March, 2024, I found Fish Hut. I went there to purchase fish that the retailer didn’t have available. Chris is very knowledgeable and when I advised him of my struggles with my aquarium, he lended his expertise in keeping my aquarium up to par. The solution was very simple, cost effective, and does not require chemicals.I am so happy with Fish Hut, that I decided to start a Saltwater aquarium for my first time. I want to Fish Hut and asked Chris. He set me up with everything I needed to be successful. I’ve had the Saltwater Aquarium running for 3 weeks now with zero problems. Chris even brought some of the supplies as well as coral I ordered to my home, and set it up for me.The top photo is my fresh water aquarium, and the bottom is Saltwater. They are crystal clear, and the water quality is perfect, thanks to Chris’s adviceI will no longer go anywhere else other than Fish Hut. They have earned my loyalty for life.

This place is amazing, the fish here are way better than Clarksville! This kid took very good care of us and he has so much knowledge on fish!!! We will most definitely be back and recommend your store! This kid is always cleaning and caring for the fish, they look so good and taken care of! 😊 We bought alot of fish today and he took his time and was very careful and he was so informative! I recently stumbled upon fish hut while I was looking to get back into fish keeping. There are not very many fish stores to choose from but this is definitely one of the best I have visited.The staff members are always super friendly and very knowledgeable. They have a nice variety of fish to choose from that you will not come across at your local chain store. Their tanks are always clean and the fish always look happy and healthy! They also carry a wide range of live aquatic plants and aquarium accessories. If there is something that you need they can most likely order it for you if they do not have it, they did this for me.If you’re into the hobby and need a great place to get your fish, plants, and products I highly recommend Fish Hut.They have been nothing less than fantastic to me every time I visit there and I always leave a happy customer !!

Pretty knowledgeable with freshwater but I do not recommend for saltwater. I wasted about $800 on fish that died due to his advice. And they are very unprofessional when it comes to the other fish store in town and spread rumors about them. But I’m glad I went back to the other fish store because I now have a thriving tank.Edited to reply to the store comment: Fish Hut that is a lie otherwise you wouldn’t have fired the guy that sold the crab to us. We were told he would be completely fine in our tank. And you replaced 2 out of the 4 and tried to sell us the 3rd for more than what we would have to pay anywhere else. Also, I mostly referring to your advice about using tap water and putting fish in that same week. But yes, I am definitely glad we went back to the other store.

Christian at the Fish Hut is fantastic! It's difficult to get good customer service these days, but that's exactly what you get at the fish hut. Christian Is knowledgeable and patient with questions and he's keeping my fish tanks maintained Beautifully. If he doesn't have it he'll get it for you! Can't say enough good things about the fish hut!

It is incredibly difficult to find an aquatic store in this area that actually CARE about the health and well-being of their livestock. FISH HUT is the exception! I drove nearly an hour and it was worth it!! All of his tanks are very well kept and clean, livestock are happy and healthy, and the owner is passionate and knowledgeable about his critters. I purchased several species of freshwater fish, and they are the healthiest, most well colored fish I've found anywhere around! All of my fish are thriving - not one loss! Highly recommend and will definitely be going back again soon!

We have visited the store a few times since this summer, and each time has been an excellent experience! We had the pleasure of meeting the owner and working on stocking our tank this weekend. He was knowledgeable and able to answer my questions on what fish would work best with my water parameters and who would cohabitate well. I'm looking forward to visiting again soon and finishing out stocking my tank! Lovely selection of fish, snails, tank supplies, plants, you name it! We may be a bit of a drive from them, but it is definitely worth it. Glad to have a local fish store with owners who truly are passionate about this hobby.

There are times when all of us must go to the giant stores and make our way to find our items like a salmon swimming upstream to spawn. Then after locating our 84 package of toilet paper, we proceed to the register to check ourselves out and bag our item. Luckily we already are acquainted with our item and how to properly use our items because if you had to find someone to help you, well God help you if you do. But there are places like The Fish Hut in Murray Ky that have knowledgeable people who are happy to share their knowledge and experience with you. It is truly a wonderful experience to shop at such a place. You might be able to drive an hour and save 12 cents on a guppy but would they know your name? A place that is clean and has such personable service is rare. A place where the money you spend stays in your community. Do I wholeheartedly recommend this establishment without hesitation? If you are still reading this, you know the answer! Go by and visit Christian and the gang at The Fish Hut! Good Fish Keeping!

Okay i have GREAT EXPERIENCE Both times At The Fish Hut !! The owner took time to go over the different fish and I decided to go with the shubunkin < not sure if I havethatright?? Anywho I bought 2 plus a few mini goldfish anyways long story short they died do to a major BOO BOOWell not expecting any credit or nothing Christian replace the 2 shubunkins at no cost I am so grateful for that Thanks to him his wife oh the little ones were doing an Awesome job to cleaning up the front...I'll have to post pictures later there hiding hahaha!Pheeeew I'm done sorry being long winded 👌😎❤️ Y'all

Excellent experience! Coming from the Jackson Tennessee area, this is one of the only fish stores I've gone into that didn't make me feel sorry for the animals in a long time.The owner and his staff were extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Fantastic selection! Beautiful tanks! So glad the Fish Hut opened up. The selection of fish is amazing. More than we’ve ever had here in Murray before. It’s a delight to go in and watch the colorful, or glowing, or transparent, or oddly faced fish in the many tanks in the store. The fish tanks are nasty due to lack of cleaning. The owner wants to sell useless products to make money instead of teaching people how to keep an aquarium properly. Selling over priced fish from diseased tanks. Owner knows he needs lids for his tanks but lets the fish jump out and die regularly. The pictures of the tank is his idea of "Clean" because algae grows in all tanks and doesn't need to be cleaned off even though it steals oxygen from the fish.

I would highly not recommend he is selling fish to people, not knowing the pricing and writing, and then text the person that he sold the fish to threatening them because of his own and yet letting His kids and everyone knows that involves fish and business knows not to have their kids banging on the fish tank and let their kids run around very unprofessional. If you don’t know how much fish is in the type of fish don’t sell it to somebody and then when you realize what type of fish and the pricing is you want to threaten someone because you own doing thank you for the beautiful fish though

We’ve gone here multiple times while setting up a new tank. Every time everyone is knowledgeable, nice, and very helpful. Last time I was in there, the owner was supposed to be off for his anniversary but instead he was there cause the store was so busy. Even then he was very helpful then. He’s offered to order specialty fish for our tank. We are very thankful to have a freshwater fish store in Murray and will be going back!
