Some things that were popular are no longer sold at that location. Have to travel to one of the 50 other stores. Definitely would rather have a place like Publix around. Now that's a great supermarket! The only good is selling local products. Otherwise, it's overpriced when you can get it at Walmart cheaper! Food Lion is better. Just don't sell local cheeses. Food Lion,Kroger, and Publix are my favorite places to grocery shop. Why have I never seen any other ethnicities working at IGA/Houchens? 🤔. Inquiring minds want to know!

I been working in iga for about 5 years. Its a little store with a big heart. Everyone always greets you with a smile and everyone is so helpful. I shopped in this store for twenty years before i worked there. Its always been a great experience!!! Right now im doing the cake decorating there. Its a joy and a pleasure to see people love my cakes i make for them. I so enjoy creating them. The manager in the deli is a great hard working woman. Such an inspiration for others to strive to be a great employee. Its a pleasure to go in every morning and see everyone. Iga is not just a store full of people...its a store filled with family and friends..iga is definetly the heart of the town im proud to be a part of...god bless everyone..

First thing I noticed was the outside of the store was really clean. The store is a smaller size grocery store but perfect for the area. Inside the aisles were clear and easy to maneuver through. It was well stocked and the produce looks fresh. The deli had a good selection. I really enjoy the fried chicken from the deli. The staff was friendly and helpful. I can say that prices were average for the area. It's best to stay with store brands if you want the best deals on most things

Twice in two weeks I've bought sausage here that when I cut open the roll was spoiled so bad is made me nauseous. They don't rotate their stock, and I've seen a grocery cart of fresh meat sit out way too long because apparently whoever was stocking to meat case walked off and left it. When they stock milk they put the new milk in front of the older milk in the case, same with eggs and cheese. Where is the manager?

Who shops at this high priced market? Sure they have a decent variety but at such high prices I have to believe much of the population has little regard for stretching their budget dollars. Times will soon change this I fear.

Dang their prices are high! Go anywhere but here for whatever you need. They milk was $5.29 when DG has it for $2.50. Literally every single store, within driving distance, is cheaper than this place. Skip!

Like it most of the time but a couple days ago they had several red velvet cakes made with whipped cream frosting. Most had stickers on them identifying it, but I found one without a sticker thinking it was buttercream frosting. Disappointed when I discovered it was also whipped cream frosting.This was actually a couple years ago but I added a star so that made it appear more recent.

For a tiny town grocery, it's pretty good. Produce is decent, milk price is great (compared to neighboring countries), and you can find all the basics. If you're looking for ethnic foods, vegan, gluten-free or another speciality diet it's going to be much more difficult to find here. Even organic and "all natural" are slim pickings.The staff are great and very helpful and the store is decently clean and well stocked. The parking lot is small, but sufficient for the town's needs.

Always have what we need as well as a clean and well stocked store! The deli is very nice and the fresh meat selection is impressive for such a small town! It wasn't crowded, so I was able to get in and get out pretty quickly.The employees were all friendly, and everything was clean and organized.Update: it has been a lot more crowded lately and not as well stocked, and I would definitely double check any produce you get, some of it has been rotten or getting there

Went here recently & it has not changed since I was a kid, over 20 years ago. Its had a facelift & name change, but the inside is the exact same. Good stroll down memory lane. However, I joke about the name now, I call it INFLATED GROCERY ASSOCIATION ( IGA) because the prices are sometimes double or triple other stores prices.

Decent selection for a small town grocery store, some items are way overpriced, others are a good deal. It's okay if you just need a couple of items, I wouldn't do major grocery shopping there. They do have some good meat sales.

I've been shopping here for years. The workers are always very nice and are always willing to offer their help.
