Never actually shopped inside of Drake's because some of the prices are a little higher than I would like to pay but when they do have the fish truck come by it is a good opportunity to grab some fish to stock in your pond.

Sorry I had to fix my post for some reason it only posted with 4 stars when I gave the store 5 stars and only part of my review posted my full review should have read. ( Good store for all your farming needs. The store is very well kept. You will not find a nicer bunch of people in any other store. They make you feel as if they know you and are very glad you are there. The young men that work there are so nice and helpful. The woman are as sweet as can be .

Got my propane filled up, had a nice chat with the guy filling it. Inside the store was clean and warm. Friendly folks, make you feel appreciated for doing business with them, even small purchases.

I called to check the availability for an item. I was told it was out of stock but could be re-ordered and sent on the next truck. After confirming with the distributor that they were able to order and have it make it on the next truck the following week we confirmed the order. When I asked what day they expected the truck so I could come pick up the order they told me they weren't sure but offered to take my phone number to call me as soon as it got there.I happened to be in the area today so thought I would stop by to see what the hold up was and I was told they sold them to someone else. When I asked why I was never called to let me me know they were ready for pick up they just shrugged their shoulders and said we lost your number. Not even an apology. I try to support local businesses but not if they dont seem to care about offering good customer service.

We went to buy fish from the fish truck that comes twice a year. I did buy some plants from Drake's. Cashiers were friendly and efficient.
