Whenever we are in the Morehead area, we always get our lunch from Pennington’s. They have the best chili dogs, taco salads, pork, tenderloin sandwiches, and anything else they make. Friendly, smiling, staff and owner make you feel welcome as soon as you walk in. You will thank me if you stop in and get your lunch.

Amazing and fresh food every time I've been here! And the nicest folks you can find behind the counter making it and ringing you up. Check that meat case on the wall on your way out too! The best fresh beef around, the bacon is great too! Top quality and great prices. Cannot recommend this place any more folks... give them a visit!

Great country/general/meat store that sells products from their farm and surrounding local farms as well as KY made and typical snack/baking products. As far as service you couldn't ask for nicer folks to deal with. Prices are great considering the quality of the meat available, which is very good. Discounts are available for larger purchases. Sandwiches, hot dogs, chips and ice cream are available. Great little store!

We stayed at Cave Run Lake and accidentally found this place. So happy we did, it's an adorable family run business! They have a little bit of everything you'd expect, jams, jellies, candles, honey etc, but we went for the Meat, and it did not disappoint! We also grabbed some of the condiments and all were very delicious! They offer ice cream and some hot foods as well but we didn't try any of that but it all looked good. Very clean inside and the staff were incredibly friendly!

Definitely a great country store close to HWY 64 THAT YOU SHOULD STOP IN AND VISIT. First check out their Facebook page because they let you know when they have farm fresh meat. You can avoid the chemicals and the middle to get your meat! The Facebook page will also keep you abreast of the daily special. Have the daily special and a hand dipped ice cream for dessert!

This is a must visit place here in morehead some of the best meats money can buy as well as daily lunch specials and hot dog sauce sold by the pound if you'd like to take it home for your favorite smoked sausages or brats or just on tater tots. The ladies that work here are some of the nicest ladies you'll ever meet their ice cream is delicious and hand scooped you can also find uncle Charlie's tenderloins burger patties sausage and bacon as well. Grab some BBQ sauces or spice rubs they've got some drinks candies and lunch time usually you can find some home made treats as well pies cakes cookies killer brownies. It's a very nice little kentucky proud feel in this store grab a cone and sit inside or outside on the porch and enjoy the peace and quiet

Great food and very friendly staff. Everything here is fresh and flavorful. Its a small town spot where there are regulars that staff know by name. A general grocery section with pantry goods and a nice selection of farm fresh meats too!!

They have the best bacon that I have ever eaten. Their ground beef is very reasonably priced considering it is fresh, antibiotic free, and has no fillers. They also have fresh eggs. I don't buy my meat anywhere else since I discovered them.

Somebody told me that they had the best roast beef sandwich in the world, and I went there to check, and they were right. Not only that, the people were incredibly present and the prices were reasonable. I'm looking for excuses to go out there again and take people with me.
