I was through here looking for an exposed power outlet to charge up my battery, which sometimes happens at a city park. Didn't find one. But what I did find is a massive park complex. Softball fields, playgrounds, a walking trail, picnic shelters and even a dog park. There are tons of activities here to help you and your kids burn off some calories!

Decent dog park! It is open to the public and has two separate areas depending on dog size. Has dog poop bags, a picnic table, bench, and an agility climber board. Only down side is there's no access to water for the dogs.

Nice place for kids to play. I thought for the location that they would've had a bigger play area, but still a nice lil park. They have a wall with different wings for ppl to take pics at. My kids really enjoyed that along with playing.

A very cute park, full of variety for the space it fills. A play area for kids with covered picnic tables directly beside it to watch your kids play, basket ball court, a couple baseball fields with bleachers, a batting cage, a picnic pavilion in the back surrounded by trees, a creek to fish in, a pretty (but small) nature walk near a farmers market, a skate park, a rev building, a recycling center, and a splash park for little kids (which I have yet to hear anything about although I'm sure it is being used). A cute little park for both adults and children. With or without kids. There is a MILD stealing problem though in certain areas, so keep your cars locked. Police patrol fairly often as well.

Awesome little park with a fence to keep smaller children from running into the parking lot. My boys enjoyed coming here and playing on the merry go round and all the slides.

Fun place for kids. Heard they're putting in a water park this summer too. We're currently here over on the baseball field supporting the Rowan County Vikings baseball team!

There is a playground for kids, basketball courts, baseball fields, a dog park area, picnic tables and a skate park. Great friendly atmosphere.

I’ve been using the walking area and now the dog park for years and I have to say that anytime I have ever spoken with Matt the Director about the bathroom needing supplies or cleaning, etc. it’s always been taken care of immediately! Our park is so beautiful and well maintained that I think it’s a gem in our town. In the decade that I have been visiting it all employees have been friendly and helpful. Just a joyful place for our citizens! Thank you for our beautiful park!

Good place for little kids. The playground was fenced in. There is a separate section for toddlers. Plenty of parking right near the playground.Random people seem to just hang out there, small town issue I guess, weird, but not too weird to not go.

My grand children love playing in the park. It is kept clean and located in a beautiful setting near walking distance of Morehead State University.

Has little bit of something for everyone. Nice place to eat a Fall time lunch on one of the picnic tables while watching the squirrels. They have a splash park, also a fenced dog friendly area.

They took our pool out. There's a descent playground for kids and nice baseball feilds for practice and games. There's also good fishing spots along the creek bank but it could be alot better. Dad really, there use to be a mini golf course to but they took that out as well so not much to do !

The updates made to the playground has been very useful and fun very aesthetically pleasing and just it all together joyful atmosphere!

Skatepark is in desperate need of a repave (and has been for over a decade). Massive cracks split it into 4 sections. The loop and parking lot were recently redone, but this area was left untouched. Fun lil park, but borderline unusable if you're not on a bike.

We can here to picnic in the picnic area. It looked to be newly developed but is next to the river. Sadly, it is was probably all under water this past week.

My grandkids had a really good time playing on the equipment after a little picnic at the tables.Restrooms: The restrooms were too far away for the little ones. Need one available closer to the play area.

Skate park is alright. However, it was built on an old basketball court, so there's bumps from the asphalt everywhere. Maybe a better skater could get enough speed and go over the bumps, but I cant do it.

Wide range of activities. The city park across it is splashed pad,just up street is 2mini parks.one great for short walk.the other nice for picnic everything is back to moral.

Considering morehead no longer has a pool this is a killer little spot for the kiddos mine are 7 and 4 and they have a blast everytine we take them the water is cool but not so cold to throw them into shock lol but it doesn't cost you anything they make instant friends everytime there they have concessions as well you can bring your own snacks as well clean restrooms with locking door if you need to change them before leaving if you haven't been its a great spot to check out for sure never been disappointed when it's packed it's still loads of fun for the kids

This park is so much fun and there is so much to do. The parks and rec department really do a great job at keeping it up and planning.
