It's 6pm, it is 79° Fahrenheit outside. The store is closed due to no air conditioning....... even though there is a temporary air unit pointing directly at the register. I've worked in a unairconditioned factory all day pulling wire up against the roof. All I wanted was to stop and pick up what I need before I get home. I had already passed the other stores, because they were open earlier today, and nobody mentioned the temperature earlier today when I stopped in..... their supposed to be open until 10pm. The YELLOW BELLY MANAGERS, closed the store because they had no air conditioning. Guess what...... THERE IS NO LAW SAYING THAT YOU MUST HAVE AIR CONDITIONING TO WORK....... NONE!!!!!!!! QUIT MAKING EXCUSES TO NOT WORK, OTHERWISE A MACHINE WILL BE ON BOTH REGISTERS, AND YOU WILL NOT BE DRAWING UNEMPLOYMENT, BECAUSE YOU REFUSED TO WORK!!!!!!!!! LAZY PEOPLE!!!!!! GROW UP!!!!!!!!! I WILL BE REPORTING THIS TO COOPERATE!!!!!!! I KNOW FOR A FACT, THEY CONTROL THE THERMOSTAT, THUS YOU PEOPLE HAVE BEEN COMPLAINING FOR YEARS!!!!!!!!! THUS, HAVING AIR CONDITIONING IS NOT REQUIRED!!!!!!!!!! YOU CAN'T EVEN CONTROL IT!!!!!!!!! I wish I could only leave 1/100th of a star, but ya'll aren't even worth a penny. Too bad I have to put 1 whole 1 just to leave a review. You get (-5) stars. Your stars are antimatter, just like your work ethic.

Really impressed with these new Dollar Generals although I think there might be too many of them and I've been told their prices have went up at least 0.20 cents every week. But I enjoy them and am grateful I don't have to drive 10-15 miles to get milk and other staples. Just hope they aren't building all these stores just to shut them down. Have been told they are also very short on employees. So who's gonna work at all these stores. Took a star away for the price hikes.

As Dollar Stores go, it aims for about the mid-ranged of experiences. The shelves are stocked but it cannot compete with the larger and more up to date stores found in the area.

Stopped in early today got what I needed and stood at the register for 3 minutes ( yes, I watched the clock) before walking out. I understand employees have other jobs to do but there wasn't a bell to ring and either the employee wasn't looking for customers or just ignoring me. Either way it's a good thing I'm not a thief I could've carried off the store instead of just walking out.

I love shopping here! The only thing that I witnessed was how they didnt disinfect after each customer. Staff are very nice and helpful.

Of the three DGs in Morehead, this is my third pick. It tends to be emptiest of customers but also on staff. It is the newest of them and tends to alwayd be cleanest of the three as well.
