This is really a great place to get materials for working.. It's just as cheap as the bigger outlets and the people that work there are so friendly.. You don't have to run someone down for help just to have them say I will get someone else to help you that never shows up either like they do at Lowe's. Every time I go there i have a hard time loading my stuff myself because they will load it for you.. Great job people at big 4.. That's where I will spend my money....

I was helping a Friend search for a shower insert, they had previously went to Lowe's and spent $220. On material's to make the shower insert they needed, I go online to Ace Hardware an find the exact incert they wanted for $64.99, saving them $140. To say the least They were thrilled at the savings I enabled them to save. Ace was so Nice to deal with, I call in with the item number I was provided online to ensure they had the incert in stock an sure enough they had 2 left in the store, they were kind enough to hold one for Me, just by name, I didn't haft to pay for it to have them hold it or provide a credit card for them to hold it or anything. They just took My word for it that I would be there to pick it up and pay for it and held if for me by name only, most business's won't so that kind of stuff these day's for you, so I was impressed and pleased by Ace being willing to do so. I advise everyone to do a little research and price shopping comparing before making a purchase when it comes to stuff like this bc $140. Is a significant savings to my way of thinking..

We always get the best service at Big 4 Lumber/ Ace Hardware. Everyone from the front desk to the lumber yard are friendly and ready to help. We walk in and are usually greeted by name. If they don't have what you need, they'll order it for you. Good prices too.

Needed decking, but am a bit far from the store and I don't have a truck. They took my order over the phone and delivered the highest quality wood I've seen to my door! There wasn't a piece that needed culling, no warp or gashes! Nathan delivered, AND offloaded. The price was the same as a box store, but the service and quality was UNPARALLELED!! BIG 4 for me from NOW ON. Helpful, in person, phone help, and quality materials to the door. Who knew?!

Not a bad place to deliver to. They got me unloaded in a short period of time, and were friendly. If you are going east on I-64 you turn right it's about a mile down on the left, sits on a hill side, not hard to get into and out of for a flatbed.
