Three truths & A LIE... SS has the best apple dumplings I've ever eaten (correct consistency of sugar to cinnamon- ratio), I only eat ice cream here at SS, and if you dare eat too much here you'll leave in a food coma! A LIE... THE FOOD IS TERRIBLE ON THIS LITTLE CORNER IN THIS BIG TOWN!My favorite place in Lowes, Kentucky! 😆😃🙃. I Kid you not, this is one of my favorite places in Kentucky (the other one being in Hog Swallow) and reminds me of a little place outside of Paris (Tennessee).This place is nostalgic and great place to release the nerves (meditative). Great food, even better tunes, and suffice food....If you get her quick, you may be able to see a 1930s circa bank with the actual safe here in downtown Lowe's. Nevertheless, take in the sceneries, eat, and then walk around town to burn a few calories 😇😇😇

This little country store is a must to visit. The food is phenomenal! Customer service outstanding! This store is over 100 years old you really ought to go out of your way to visit this place its 5 stars all the way!Try one of the cold sandwiches out of the deli or a soft serve vanilla ice cream cone. Hope you enjoy it as much as we did.

I’ve always loved this store, it takes you back to the early days of America. The food is amazing ( If you get there early enough) they sell out pretty quick. I would definitely recommend you try their breakfast.
