We ordered a King bed from their website (not a third party website) - and they gave us a queen and said they had no King beds. And they didn’t want to discuss how this could be prevented in the future, they just wanted you to take your room and shut up.The Refrigerator sounded like a jet engine when the compressor kicked in.The air conditioning wouldn’t stay on and that batteries in the remote were dead.The hall light switch turned off the power to the lamp that is on the desk, which charges the phones. Good luck charging stuff over night while you are trying to sleep.The floors were filthy, don’t walk barefoot after a shower.Front desk over night personnel staff were useless. Don’t call the front desk from your room, they won’t answer. They are too busy sitting in the lobby watching TV.Came back from a day out, bed was made and a white dago T shirt was left in our room. It’s not ours! And they took all the soap and didn’t replace it.Breakfast is frozen Mini muffins.You could tell this was once a smoking room, but they decided to skip painting around the smoke detector on the ceiling so there was still a brown ring around it.

Worst experience I've ever had. Reserved a double bed room 5 months in advance. Walked into a single full bed, was told they couldn't do anything about it they were booked. So I said I'm gonna look for another hotel. Then they decide to sell the room out from under me even though I paid in full for it. Had to drive 30 minutes away to find a place to stay. Words can't even express how I feel right now. They should have to pay for my gas and this expensive hotel I had to stay at because of their major screw up. Unacceptable!!

I have a 1 star since I can't give zero stars. It stared at check-in with a rude desk clerk(maybe she needed to go back to Marshalls). No elevators were the issue. The AC/Heater until wasn't working, and the bathroom wasn't totally cleaned.That night, we found several stink bugs in the room. In the morning, the bugs were crawling like crazy out of the sink drain.Under the bed appeared to NOT be cleaned in weeks. Back door that stated locked for your security doesn't lock.Plus, the property was full of contractors that were extremely noisy, leaving one morning.Upon check out the next morning after just 1 of 5 nights, the young lady(Don't think actual employee) had quite an attitude when I asked for the manager. No refund was offered.And I'm a platinum rewards member who always goes to a Wyndham property, first but never, again in Maysville.

There was a roach in the bathroom. Climbed outlet socket. There's hair In the sink half bottle shampoo for me to use. I guess someone else didn't use all of it. This is just a step up from sleeping in your car. It's probably one of the nastiest motels. I've ever been in. We'll let you know about breakfast.Almost afraid to eat for the roaches.

Worst hotel I have ever stayed in. Found dead roach in bathroom when first got there, room smelled musty. Carpet was stained real bad. Counted 5 dead bug splatter on ceiling. Seen roaches calling on bed stand. TV remote did not work. We left at 1 am with no sleep and turned in our key cards. Told the clerk that it had too many bugs, and all she said was ok and said we were checked out.

This was a last minute have to have a place to lay my head kinda thing.1.Bathroom - black mold2.Computer chair, looked like concrete worker done his job from it.3. Coffee pot had so much dust, it made mud when I tried to make cup of coffee. Nasty to charge Me that for that kinda trash.

This is probably the worst hotel I have ever stayed at and I travel for work a lot. I picked really bad with this one. Multiple men standing outside smoking when I pulled up. Older woman working desk was so short and terse she was rude. She sat playing on her phone while i waited at the counter in front of her. I had to ask questions rather than being told like check out time?, breakfast hours?, room location?. The hotel stank, the room was disgusting, dirty, and smelled horribly. Breakfast was cereal, really weak coffee, warm apple & orange juice, apples & bananas, toast, and dried mini muffins. Go anywhere else in town EXCEPT this hotel. The pics are deceiving. I stayed in #106. An older gentlemen was at the desk complaining about his neighbors smoking and the lady pretty much told him he was lying and to go back to his room. There was urine all over the bathroom wall, the desk chair was HORRIBLE and cracked in the back, the bed was stained, and pics on the wall as the headboard were smeared with something, the tv stand had not been wiped down from previous tenants, the lamp shade had something cached on it, the walls and fridge and everywhere was so nasty. The only 2 positives were the mattress was comfortable and the a/c was great. Luckily I had my own bedding!! This place needs new management ASAP so they can replace and properly train front desk and housekeeping. Do they not check these rooms after housekeeping to make sure they are clean and not in need of repairs like most hotels? They do NOT follow Wyndham standards at least not in my experience.

This was a very nice stay at this Motel. The staff was very friendly very welcoming I'm very accommodating. The second shift manager lady was awesome getting me checked in quickly oh, and helping me with the car key. I recommend as Motel to people. I do think though that they can bring back breakfast protocol us some core of some sort you know a nice continental breakfast you know with cereal fruit Donuts Bakery Goods stuff like that I think you'll be made presentable and healthy

This place is NASTY. Super 8 should be ashamed to allow them to carry their name. We pick this motel because motel 8's are ALWAYS nice. Boy were we wrong! My man said, let's just stay at motel 8 cos we KNOW what they are. Not this place. I could smell smoke as soon as we walked thru the front door, the clerk was not friendly at all. The room was NASTY.. Had hair in the tub and ROACHES. We had to go to front desk to get a plug for the tub. Yes I cleaned it. We will NEVER stay here again. And I'm gonna try to get the main office for super 8 and let them know this place is ruining their name. So if anyone knows the number, let it be known. PLEASE GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!

Checked in on Thursday the 8th, and checked out Wednesday December 14 a kind lady on night shift that first night moved us to a smoking room (were smokers), the room definitely needs painted room 124 paint chips are missing from wall and they dont wipe down wall's the curtains they dont wash they are stiff and yellow from smoke stains. On December 12 I got in the otherbed rolled over onto my back and the big picture above the bed fell on me! I had to go to emergency room it gave me a concussion and knocked me unconscious, I'm still having trouble I have to get a MRI done now! The manger is very rude said the rooms were booked but I got on booking and room's (smokeing) were available!the reason the picture feel is because someone had stuff hid behind it. No apology was ever given to me very disappointed! Walls are thin there are cracks in the doors l, woke up multiple times from people letting there door slammed lm i dont mind but there is people who live there full time. If you want treated with respect and done right this is NOT the place! Super 8 needs a manger that care for there guest and saftey and this is not the place! Btw she tried charging me almost 25$ more:then actual price was.l! Do better super 8 worst super 8 IVE EVER STAYED AT! SPEND THE FEW EXTRA DOLLARS ANDGET A PLACE THAT CARES ABOUT YOU AND YOUR SAFETY!! Will update after mri!

Huge bed bugs!!!!! Then they didn't want to return my money they wanted to give me another room, Wrong! If one room has bugs others will too! Not worth the time or the trouble!!!!! Then tried telling me if I gave them a bad review it would come back on me.?? How is that going to happen! It's not my business that's not doing their job! I did get my money back eventually.

The place was not bad........ But there was an overbearing odor of popcorn throughout the room all night. Beds were comfortable, Staff were very friendly, food was good in the morning, and the place was overall clean, which is always a plus. Dinging the one star purely on the popcorn🙂.

I chose this place because of the raving reviews, well my opinion is the opposite. Originally I was in a room upstairs, but considering the heavy objects I didn't want to carry up the stairs, I requested a room down stairs. I was placed in a room that had a sticky bathroom floor, a couple hair strands in the tub, the perimeter of the room was filled with the dirt and crumbs as they're the vast wastelands to any room. A big white stain under the closet area, the bed frame was dusty there were 2 hair clips under the mattress. It was already too late to move as I had to be at work early the next day so I just dealt with it. I did strip the bed to check for bed bugs and brought my own bed bug traps. The next night agter getting iff ofnwork I requested the office to clean my room the next day while I was at work the next day. After work I saw they did clean but the vast wastelands were still crumbly and the hair clips were missing. They do provide fresh towels daily, tidy your room while your away and a comfy bed but the place reeks of cigarette smoke and I feel that me spending $50+/night it could be a tad better. I may give it another chance but unsure at the moment.

The room was not cleaned. I had to go to Wal-Mart and buy disinfectant cleaner and clean the bathroom and furniture. The room was right across from the vending machine and ice machine and laundry area which is basically in the hallway. We never heard so much noise in our lives at a hotel. There were people in front of the entrance door smoking and lawn chairs in front or beside the entry doors with people sitting down talking on the phone. Not a good welcome to this place at all. When I addressed the issues with our room, The night staff didn't even care. She said there was nothing she could do, and that there was no way to contact the manager. We have a 6 month old baby and this was not a place we should have taken her. There was not a chance to even talk about getting a refund..the night clerk wouldn't give us any info whatsoever. Please don't stay here if your concerned about your overall well being.

I would avoid this hotel if your a nonsmoker. The hotel lobby reeked of cigarettes. I book a non-smoking room. The room I was assigned was a smoking room and it reeked of smoke. The sink in the bathroom was clogged and would not drain. There were broken tiles in the bathroom floor. The internet was not working the night I stayed. I travel for work and stay in many hotels. This hotel was the worst I've stayed in.

I booked a room at this motel because they had smoking rooms which is rare these days. The staff was friendly and the room was pretty clean. We had problems with the card keys to our room though. Had to keep going to the front desk because the key wouldn't work. The room was kind of small, but I only paid $150 including tax for 2 nights. They do have a drink and snack machine and a washer and dryer if needed.

Non smoking rooms on second floor are next to the smoking rooms. As a result the hallway smells to cigarretes and smoke from cigarettes gets is way into the room. Terrible experience if you are asthmatic. Even downstairs (this recent visit) It seems employees at the reception desk are smoking one after another. Considering not coming back. On my last recent visit:1. Water dripping whole night2. Clogged sink3. Dirty and sticky microwave. Rests of food.4. Smoke from cigarette downstairs everywhere.Not supervising rooms before guests come ?I may not come back.

Made a late reservation by phone directly with the motel. Quick and easy. On arrival I was checked in quickly and the clerk was friendly but not personable. Room was OK, had a small fridge in it. Some hair on the shower wall and a few stains/burn mark on bedspread, but otherwise clean and odor free. If you are looking for basic accommodation at a reasonable price, no reason not to consider.

Affordable, friendly, good location, and a decent place to stay. The bathroom facilities could use some upgrades and potentially better cleaning. Our shower would fill with an inch of water before you could find the right temperature setting (barely drained) and there was some possibly permanent gunk covering the sink-top. Beds are decent and windows are nice. Parking is easy and, though a bit basic, the Continental breakfast is always nice.

Joy at the front desk is one heck of a front desk person! She was wonderful. The rooms are clean, and your average hotel room. Personally I was not pleased to smell the cigarette smoke throughout the hallways, but my non-smoking room did NOT smell, so they get a pass there. If you are attending a downtown Maysville event, you will need to find transportation into downtown. I was glad I had a rental van to use. It's not far driving wise, but walking would be a whole other story. (Do-able if you are up for that.)

We stay here every year for a family reunion and this was the first year we had issues. The lady at the front desk said it's under new management so I guess that's it. Our bathroom was sub par as you could tell they only cleaned what they could see but as soon as you closed the door, it revealed a yellowed wall and lots of missed dust and grime. We had a non smoking room but our blankets had cig burns in them and we had an a/c unit but it only blew out warm air. When I told the front desk of our issue they apologized but offered no resolution. Later my husband went down and we were given a decent discount for our stay. Unless these issues are addressed by management soon it's not worth the stay.

The cleaning staff vacuumed around the furniture, visible white dust where not vacuumed. Bedding terrible. Detail to bathroom cleaning is way off ... corners have dirt , did not sparkle & shine ... needed major updating. Both desk clerks were very friendly.
