The ladies there are amazing! They rescued and sheltered my 2 dogs when I wasn’t able and when I picked them up, they were the happiest pups in the world. Talking with both ladies, I know that each of them gave my 2 all the love in the world! I can’t thank them enough!

When adopting a puppy from Mason county Animal Shelter, I emailed and called time and time again for days for no answer to any of them what-so-ever. On the day the puppy was up for adoption, I drove to the Animal Shelter as soon as it opened. there was only a part time worker there at the time, and he “knew nothing”. So we sat and waited for the manager, but she was an hour and 30 minutes late to her job. We waited for nothing. She was holding the dog for someone else, and I had no clue. I got no call back and on the facebook page, the post said the particular dog was still available. this place is a JOKE!

The employee here will stop what their doing to assist you.... Take u though and tell u a out each animal.... Such a great place to find your next best friend... Whether it's a dog or a cat!!

An animal shelter that will illegally adopt out a stray after only 12 hours of holding and then claim they have no clue who has it (which is also illegal since there's NO paper trail) NEVER USE THIS SHELTER. Disgusting people
