Crowded with wheeler carts loaded with merchandise sitting all throughout the store making it Very hard to navigate the isles. Worst I've ever seen this store. Person checking out everyone complaining about the computer system and how angry she was at having a bad day. I couldn't wait to get out of there. What in the world is going on? I will probably go back because I'm handicapped and it is the only store close to my house. Hope it improves.

Big improvement over last year. There is much more organization throughout the isles. Things are even organized on the shelves. The only reason I rated 4 stars is due to the fact there always only seems to be two people working and one of which is on the register, the pther is just putting up stock. When it gets busy, the other person should come help get through the line that forms from just having one cashier.

I shop all of our local Dollar Generals at one point or another-however the one I go to most which is closest to my home is the E Center St location. I don't know why I continue to try to go here, the shelves are never stocked and the few times I have asked if they have whatever it was I was looking for I was told they didn't have it. Not sure how they would know that off the top of their head when stock is sitting in boxes all over the place. I am just going to start frequenting another location that keeps their shelves stocked.

Congested store in an aging building on a one way street. Standard DG store minus a few items. Due to aging building doesn't feel as clean and fresh as new stores of recent DG growth. Some of the nicest employees at this location, one of four in the town. Purity Dairy products a nice feature to these stores.

I only go here because its closest to my home. The service is ok but the registers seem to be broken constantly. It seems they may have replaced their management staff recently which is good since the old staff were rude and unhelpful and treated employees like dirt

The store at 620 East Center St in Madisonville Ky is a total mess, merchandise blocking the isles, I went to check out and the card reader would not take my card tried several times, went across the road to the bank and used my card and got cash out went back to the store and got my items. I have seen other people have trouble with the same card reader, I think you need to get a new one!! You also need to have someone check in merchandise and not have to stop and check people out and straighten up the place.

Center Street DG seriously needs a staff that shows it customers their appreciation for being there. And a Management team that keeps and cares about a clean, tidy store. This one is neither.

Normally I have a great experience Ms June is awesome but the new cashier he is rude argued with me about a carton of cigarettes didn't even know that 10 packs equal a carton

They need a new manager and employees cause they are out of allot of stuff its just been sitting in the ales and in the stock room for days now its getting to the point to where i don't even want to go in there anymore and thats sad cause we go there daily but that's fixing to stop why waste time going there when they dont stock

It's a great place to save money, but not to handicap friendly...the aisles are quite often blocked with stock. The employees are very helpful

I could not find anything in the store completely different than the others one lady was very nice i beleive her name was Mandy but i am not sure. I will not be back at that store for sure!!!!

Store is so cluttered, you can't get down the isle. Never more than one checker. Store across town is much better.

This store is always a disaster, they never have what I need in stock, well they may but all their stock is still in boxes blocking all the aisles. I prefer to go to the other Madisonville location.

The dollar general's are my little store that I go to when I don't want to go to Walmart and I even preferred over the Walmart neighborhood stores that they've opened.

It's a dollar store okay, it has everything , this particular one is a little older and things are a little more jumbled but it's all there you just have to hunt for it, and it's in a great location
