Alyssa in the pharmacy drive-thru was very kind but I don’t understand why it ALWAYS takes so long to get prescriptions out through the drive-thru. I waited around 35 minutes in line to pick up my prescriptions, then another 10 or so at the window — absolutely ridiculous! No wonder this location has such a horrible rating. If it’s gonna take so long, either hire an extra tech or shut down your drive-thru!!!

Needs better customer service and if somebody calls asking if you have a product it would probably be best to go check instead of telling us to check online ourselves.

This is not the first time The pharmaceutical tech Alyssa told me she couldn’t do something I went to pick up my children’s & I’s medication waited in the Drive through lane for over 15 mins to be told my pill medication won’t fit through tube, every other time I have been there these same medications fit through the tube just fine. Alyssa told me I’d have to come in or Get back in a relatively long line & wait yet again just to get these medications. She hung up on me & I called back to speak to the pharmacist she refused to put him on the phone I called back she hung up again. & threaten to call the police I pulled around got my kids & self out of car & when I went in conveniently the pharmacist is available. She says she is one of the managers I said to her that’s men your a terrible manager you hang up on a customer.

Worst pharmacy i have ever been to. The girls at the pharmacy are nothing but ghetto and have a bad attitude. Honey if you don't like dealing with customers, get out of customer service. Don't plan on picking up your prescription when they say it will be ready. 20 minutes turned into 45. Zero stars in my opinion.. This is the kind of employees you get when they get their certifications online

Came here to pick up a door dash order and the pharmacy tech asked a Spanish speaking woman if she could speak a little English and I thought that was rather rude.In addition to being rude to the Hispanic lady, she got brave and decided to argue with me. When I went to get my doordash order she wanted me to confirm the address, which was fine, but I told her I couldn't see that on my end. She told me to hit confirm and I told her I know how it works and she told me not to be rude and I said like you were rude to that Hispanic lady and she proceeded to argue with me and whoever was managing the pharmacy didn't intervene or take over she just told her to wrap it up. Must not care about your job if you're willing to argue with customers.

wish they had later hours in the pharmacy and still open 24 hours like they used to be.the employees there at the 10000 block of dixie hwy was rude to my mother n law and step daughter but over all it is close to my house and i buy all my make up and over the counter medications there and with my insurance my perceptions are free

It took over 10 minutes to ask one simple question. I just wanted to ask this location if I could bring a FedEx package in to the store, since I'm showing this is a drop-off location. After going through the prompts, waiting for several minutes, someone picks up and hangs up.The second time..same thing...go through the prompts, wait, and someone picks up and guess what they say?"Please hold."Why is it so difficult just to call to ask a quick question.Might I suggest 1) training people how to NOT disconnect callers and 2) having enough staff to simply answer...the...phone. Ridiculous.

This place is a sick joke. The pharmacy is run by silly little girls with poor attitudes who spend more time chatting with each other than helping customers. Incredibly disorganized and unprofessional. I can hear them reading the names of peoples prescriptions from the back of the line. So much for confidentiality. The clientele are no better. Nothing but a bunch of obnoxious pill heads who impatiently fidget around because they think that standing directly behind someone makes the line go faster. They will literally follow you right up to the counter. If you have the option to go anywhere else I highly recommend that you do. Avoid this place like the plague.

Absolutely bad Pharmacy. Picked up my pain meds yesterday while I have multiple Kidney stones and the worker said the bottle had two different brands so they looked different. Looked up to find half my bottle Hydrocodone and half regular asprin L484 So they pocket your meds now apparently. Pay attention people not much trust out there.

They told me to pick up my script at 2PM.When I got there, the lines were bkd up bc they all take a lunch break at 1:30-2PM and ppl wait in the drive thru for them to open bk up again afterwards!I am very glad that they have a set time every day for their lunches though!!!!!That makes it easier for everyone. But they don’t have any types of discounts if you don’t have any insurance like the other pharmacies do.When I asked if they did have any discounts for ppl without insurance, the lady rudely said, NO, WE DON’T GET ANY DISCOUNTS HERE EITHER, so why should we give y’all one?Of course me bn me, I said bc I’m the fckn customer this time lol. But it’s all good. Everyone has a bad day every now and then, so I figured this one was hers. Lol.Other than that, it was an ok experience!But if y’all want any type of discount(s), you gotta go to Krogers instead!

Friendly staff that always recognizes us and has something to say. Very pleasant. There are many customers that come in and are very rude and obnoxious and these employees know how to handle them in a correct way. Just blows my mind the way these pharmacy technicians get talked like they are not human beings as well when everybody in the pharmacy is very friendly and helpful! Keep up the good work!

I have been trying to get my pain meds for 3 weeks now. Was told I need pre authorization from my insurance which was given on Jan 3. My Dr. Has faxed it twice already but every time I go to the pharmacy I'm told the authorization is still needed. Went out of my way and drove an hour to get a hard copy of the authorization and have been attempting to call the pharmacy for a week now. I am on hold, taken off hold, put back on hold for 20-30 min at a time just to have the line disconnected before I ever get a chance to speak with someone. When I go into the store the pharmacist are very unfriendly and there always seems to be some technical issue. Not to mention they seem overwhelmed and over worked however at any given time there's atleast 6 people behind the counter. Was told a few weeks ago I had to pay for my toddlers vitamins (he's anemic) and when I questioned it the pharmacist came back 10min later and just handed it to me with no explanation. So it was covered by my insurance, good thing I questioned it. The staff is incompet, unprofessional and seriously lacks training in the area of pharmaceuticals as well as customer service. This had been my worst Pharmacy experience in 41 years of living and after living on three continents and several different countries one of them being a third world country. This Walgreens should be ashamed of themselves I can get better service in the sand dunes of Egypt!!!

ABSOLUTELY AWFUL SERVICE EVERYTIME!! don't ever call them and expect them to answer either, they always have the phones set to "closed" so they don't have to help you. changing my pharmacy asap. I also have a prescription that was called in by my Dr, I spoke with my Dr and she said the prescription is waiting for me. when I go to pick it up they say they have nothing for me.

Walgreens would not allow me to buy a redbull energy drink due to the thawed out frozen food concerns. I understand the frozen food safety precautions during the blackout but not being able to buy anything out of the coolers is too much.

Probably the worse pharmacy I have dealt with. Extreme wait times.I don't care if its in the store, in the drive through, or on the phone, be prepared to WAIT and WAIT.Unexperienced pharmacy techs. Example- After waiting on hold for 45 minutes, the worker tells me that my medication (that was supposed to be there today) had not been received and she had no idea when it would arrive. Said she had no way of tracking the medicine her store ordered.Told me to call back every day (hold for 45 plus mins) to check if it had been received. When asked if the medication could be transferred to another Walgreens that had medication in stock , she told me she was unsure and I would need to call the Walgreens of choice to ask them!Never a manager available for concerned customers.What a joke and true pain in the neck to deal with this unorganized, overbusy, unskilled pharmacy. Its so bad that its to the point that I don't trust that they will fill my prescriptions correctly. May fill my meds with a total different medication and blame it on "'being too busy"'.ABSOULYELY TERRIBLE!

They must not be paying people enough in the pharmacy because istg I see a revolving door of like three new techs every month. Staff is definitely stressed and overworked, causing extreme wait times, reoccurring insurance issues that shouldn't even exist, and just unsatisfactory customer service. I know these poor techs just have too much to deal with, and Walgreens better pay accordingly so I can get my meds on time

They are very rude at this wal greens. I can rarely reach them on the phone. And my prescriptions always take forever to be filled. My daughter was having allergic reaction yesterday and I brought her to the doctor the doctor said to file the steroid prescription right away and give her a dose immediately. so I patiently waited for them to finish to fill it and after 3 hours of not hearing from them I went up there at this point my daughter was in tears cuz she was all welped up I asked them if they could please fill the prescription quickly cuz my daughter's hives were getting bigger and spreading and like I said my daughter was crying right in front of them and they said there's nothing they can do they'll fill it when they can I said okay well I'll sit here and wait and they said well it's going to be hours until it's ready they had no heart at all I switched to a different Walgreens up the street down Dixie and they saw what was going on my daughter and filled it right away. I get that they have a lot of prescriptions and people that they deal with so I'm normally patient with them but at this point they had no heart when they saw what was going on with my daughter and the other Walgreens on greenwood rd saw and filled it right away they actually cared and we're very kind and concerned about what was going on. I recommend you do not use the valley station Walgreens use the Walgreens down Dixie at greenwood Rd.

This pharmacy is the worst I have ever seen. Their pharmacy staff didn’t even know that hydrocodone was a pain medication, they thought it was an antibiotic. Their computer system is severely lacking because it never saves your health insurance information, so when a new prescription is sent in, it doesn’t get filled because they don’t have your current health insurance listed. This severely delays patient care.

I come to the farmacy and the lady have a Bad attitud first i get here and she Say the medication didnt was ready ... I went to the car, i call and then they tell me was ready... I went back the lady ask me for My mom social i tell her to typing she ask me to Say it i tell her i don't feel good saying her social in front of diferent person around... Then i was speaking spanish and she supose i was talking about her.. and she Start talking in a Bad attitute... Her name on the badge was maagii or something like that... If u have a Bad day and u work as a customer service u have to leave Ur problems away no matter what customer is always rigth ,and more if u allready make a fail with that person... And i hope her attitute didnt was cuz AM a latin person

This walgreens pharmacy is a joke. They never have your prescription ready when it's supposed to be ready. They tell you an hour and when you show up an hour later they tell you they don't know when it will be ready because they are "short staffed". They've been "short staffed" for two years now. Why are they even still open if they can't fill scripts?

This has to be the worst drug store in the city. I got tired of waiting hours upon hours to speak to a live person when I had a quick question and made a phone call. The line to pick up prescriptions is ridiculous. People form a line that goes through the store waiting for their meds, everyone complaining.Several times they made me wait a few days to receive medication because they didn't carry it at their location or they ran out of a common antibiotic.I had switched to Rite-Aid on Valley College Drive and had excellent service for years, and dang if Walgreens didn't buy them out. When I found out they had transferred my prescription back to Walgreens on Dixie... I immediately switched to a different pharmacy.I don't know what goes on at this Walgreens but I'd avoid getting your RX here, don't just take my word for it... look at the reviews! I don't know why the pharmacy cannot get it together and fill orders in 15 minutes like ALL of the other pharmacies in the area can.

The pharmacy can never find my prescription when my dr calls the same one in every week and every week they have some kind of problem and today they tell me it’s not here and my dr has sent it in 2 times today. The pharmacist also tells me that she has 25 prescriptions she hasn’t checked yet but then when I ask her to Cusco them tells me she didn’t say that. It’s ridiculous and they’re messing with peoples health.

Very dissatisfied with this pharmacy. Very long waits (over 2 hours), long lines, super slow staff. Pharmacy staff takes customers out of order. Trying to make a call to ask the pharmacists a question is ridiculous. Was on hold for nearly 3 hours! (recording said only 5 callers ahead of me). I've moved to rite-aid on terry. It only took them 10 minutes to fill a dropped off prescription. I can get right through to pharmacy staff when I call. Walgreens on Dixie and Valley station is AWFUL

Worst pharmacy in the city of Louisville. They literally have more people standing around in the back of the pharmacy than they do helping customers. The line can be down the over the counter medication aisle and they continue to stand around like they don’t see it. Their hours are not consistent, they are constantly closing early. Worst pharmacy experience ever, every time I come here.

Have used this pharmacy for a few years, only because it was the closet 24 hour place available. Unfortunately, it is no longer 24 hours. I've rarely had a good experience here and have had several occasions of waiting through the long waits to find out my order has not been filled and that I'll have to come back. Yesterday I made an order requiring a doctor to reauthorize the script and was not contacted to be told that the order was being filled. Called to see if the prescription was ready today to find out that the order was no longer in the system.There is a need for new management at this location.

I had an amazing experience when I went to Walgreens and my pharmacy technician was Shelby. She was extremely helpful and kind. She really worked hard to get me through the drive thru in a timely manner.
