I usually enjoy going to this place, I've lived in the area for years and I've never had any complaints until recently. My fiance and I ordered food here one evening and were surprised with the disrespect we received from the staff at the window when ordering through drive through. We ordered two corn dogs and were met with attitude because they had to drop fresh corn dogs for us.

Food and ice cream is consistently really good! The mostly younger staff is always happy and seem very customer service oriented which is a rarity these days. Hours are weird sometimes but I’m very grateful they’ve started expanding buisness into the winter months more. Love having these folks right down the street!Kid-friendliness: Super kid friendly! My kiddos love sitting outside and eating their ice creams in the summer.

We went there at night and seemed a little sketchy, I don't know there area well enough. As far as the sundae was bad, I had a couple bites and I threw the rest away. I was looking for a hot fudge sundae but got a chocolate syrup sundae. The flavor of the ice-cream tasted weird and was not enjoyable. I would not be coming back to this place. The staff was nice..

Not much has changed except for the prices. Got a banana split last weekenD and they forgot the nuts and they use to put chocolate soft serve for the chocolate part, but this time, it was all vanilla soft serve. It was still descent with the banana, cool whip, and cherry on top. It also had the strawberries, pieapple, and chocolate fudge sauce.

The strawberry shortcake and the chilli cheese fries were absolutely delicious!!!! The best chilli cheese fries I've ever had, they were crisp and very loaded. Service was very fast and friendly.

I took my grandsons here on Monday about 3pm and it wasn't busy. That was a good thing for us because we didn't have to wait. One grandson got a Large Mint Chocolate Chip Waffle Cone with Sprinkles. The other Grandson got a Large Superman Waffle Cone with Nerds on it. I got a Medium Peanut butter Banana Shake. It was all very delicious and hit the right spot for a hot day. If you haven't been here you should stop by for their delicious icecream 😋. They also have some food also.

We love to go here for ice cream! It's a family favorite, and the food is always fresh if you don't fancy a sweet treat. Sometimes the lines and wait for food can be a bit long, but if you have a little patience, it's well worth the wait.

I first visited 2 years ago when I was pregnant. I finally had the chance to bring my little and she loved her spongebob popsicle and I enjoyed the Blueberry soft serve (my favorite for the past few years!)

We love going here on the weekends or after school at Medora. The staff is great and they work hard to make sure your wait isn't too bad, even with a long line or when understaffed.The ice cream and food are also great and the prices are fair.

Finally stopped here after having this location saved for months. I'm not sure why we waited so long! We will absolutely be back here. The atmosphere was great, the workers were extremely helpful, and our orders came out quickly. We all loved our ice cream, and there was a ton of options to choose from! I have never seen so many soft serve options before. I got chocolate dipped coconut soft serve, others got chocolate dipped peanut butter soft serve, and kids got superman. We will be back!

Large selection of flavors and these larger straws are amazing if you like crushed cookies, candy, etc in your shakes! No more stopped up straws!!! Always great ice cream every time I visit, thank you Valley Dairy Freeze!

Wanted a hot fudge cake, but they were out of the ice cream. Girl suggested the chocolate ice cream, so I agreed. I didn't know it was going to be soft serve instead of frozen. Took it to my brother less than 1/2 mile away, and when I picked up the container, it ran out all over the place. The hot fishes made the soft serve like soup. It's not a good suggestion. Thanks for trying, though.

Really looking forward to a malt after a hot day of fishing. Was absolutely astounded at the variety of flavors they offered. I've never seen such a selection. Being new to the place I ordered my standby selection with the idea of comparing their malt to others I've tried. VDF makes great malts. My daughter showed me the barbecue sandwich she brought there for her boyfriend. I almost stole it.

Drive-thru mid-Saturday afternoon. Nachos Supreme, very tasty ... chili (no beans 👍🏾), nacho cheese, pickled jalapeños, tomatoes, sour cream, (I asked for) lettuce ... took a minute but oh, so delicious 😋 Kudos to whoever prepared them, very scrumptious 👍🏾 Already craving another, will be back 💯

The food and desserts here are really good and the people that work here are nice. Some teenagers ordered some ice cream, but they were a little short on cash for it all. So one of the employees paid the rest so they all could get the ice cream they ordered. This is a really good place and I'm happy to give Valley dairy freeze a 5 star rating.

Do not get a ice cream dip cone from this place. You do not get no chocolate, it's so sad. They will lie to you and tell you. Everything's okay when they bring it to you. It's nothing on the ice cream. Just a little bit It's not worth five dollars or more Stay away from this place

Love coming to Valley Dairy Freeze, so many ice cream options. Its always busy but their staff is super fast and friendly. We usually opt for sitting out but the drive thru option is pretty cool. This is the best spot in the area for ice cream bar none.

With the super abundant of flavors of shaved ice, shakes, malts and ice-cream Valley Dairy Freeze really blew my mind. In an amazing delicious way!! They even have an array of delicious food they serve. All the young ladies that worked there were super cute and sweet and professional.I have lived here in Louisville my entire life pretty much, why the hell I've never visited this place is blastophem.Do plan on returning as many times as possible before this summer comes to an end, because they are seasonal.💋

Ordered door dash. They were out of hot fudge cakes. Instead of letting me know they decided I wanted a ice cream cone instead. I called to let them know I didn't want that. The girl said we're to busy to call you. Not great service. I'm sure they would not have done this if I was there in person. Ordering food should not be any different.

Someone should probably explain to management that ONE employee is insufficient for Saturday afternoon. Drive thru backed up to the street, line of people at the front window, one person preparing orders. After several minutes of what seemed to be a standstill I cut my losses and went somewhere else. I really don't appreciate coming all the way over here and having my time wasted. You guys need to do better.
