I'd give 0 if i could!I went on a random Thursday at 2pm for 1 item. I asked an associate if she could call someone to help me in plumbing & she immediately called & he told her he would meet me in isle 29. I waited for over 10 minutes with no help! I'll not be returning! Lowes & Menards are just a few miles away!

Very rude employees very unhelpful! The cashier Jeremiah obviously don't know how to do his job he had to constantly call the lead cashier for help because he can't do his job right! My mom's home Depot in store credit card kept declining and instead of calling the home Depot credit card service center he called the manager! 😠 Your job as a cashier should already know how to do that!! Jeremiah's attitude was Nasty kept rolling his eyes and sucking his teeth just because he doesn't know how to do a simple credit card transaction the manager was not helpful either kept telling my mom different stuff while on the phone with home Depot credit card service center and my mom left outta the store empty handed due to the poor customer service from this location. DON'T GO HERE!!!!

After spending too much time scouring the net and other hardware stores failing to find a specific circuit breaker I was in dire need of, i remembered having a Home Depot app on my phone. I reloaded it, logged in, and literally less than 2 minutes later I was looking at a detailed picture of the exact breaker I needed to repair my equipment. The app also alleviated any grief in finding the actual item in the store, as the location listed was spot on. Thanks Home Depot!

For the love of Home Improvement Stores God, please hire more helpful employees to handle your customer's needs!So much time is wasted seeking for help. I'm trying to give you money to help me, yet I have to track down elusive orange apron personnels who ended up being lack of help anyway.We even have to check out ourselves, only to be met with problematic self-checkout machines and phantom cashiers.

Big store and actually a very improved visit. Went to get yard stones recently and they loaded them happily, helped me pick flowers for my mom and were very precise in their description of locations. I will actually most certainly go back. I used to work at Lowe's so this is saying something.Update: Things change and this store is no exception. Still friendly and helpful and plenty of familiar faces. Often would rather go here than 5 more min to Lowe's.

Went to Home Depot to exchange a rachet without a problem. Ask a few associates if they still cut glass and stated they didn't know. One associate who seem the only person who knew anything said they did not. This at same time other associates told a lady they couldn't cut a key since it wasn't there department. I will not come back to this place since I have to past two Lowe's a one Merards. Lowe's still cuts glass.

Absolute horrific experience here. Typically the store is trashed and associates never want to help or even greet you but today was next level bad experience. It is my mission to make sure no one I’m associated either ever does business at this dump.

My experience today was similar to my past experiences, dealing with customer associates that neither feel like getting out of their chair or sharing the knowledge that they’ve picked up over 30 something years working at a Home Depot. You would think it would be a simple question as to what materials I would need to install the pocket door, but it wasn’t that simple today it was more or less back-and-forth about whether I’ve installed one before more likely disassociate was trying to expose my lack of knowledge versus just trying to point me in the right direction or again getting out of the chair and walking around with me for a little bit after all that’s what they get paid for. But I could’ve sworn that the customer service associate asked me 15 times whether I’ve installed a pocket door before or not. Regardless, if I have or not, you either have the knowledge to point me in the direction of the materials I need or you don’t in this case he had the knowledge, but didn’t really want to give it up or it was like he didn’t have time mind you he was sitting in the chair, talking to another associate about other associates typical employee gossip session. Rather than check him or correct his attitude I had to just keep pulling it out of him.

Kids workshop every month look online before going. Very busy . If you are willing to hear all the banging. Sitting not stable. Sit on a wooden board paint bucket under it. They provide what you will be making and tools and paint. You can always pick up the project they are offering to take home to do with your child.

Yesterday morning something curious happened to me in the rental department of this location. I arrived early to rent a lift. There was only one left. My client was delayed on the way. We called to make the payment over the phone. They couldn't take the payment. Finally, I'm waiting for my client to arrive. To my surprise, they rented the lift to another person who arrived after me. When I complained, the store managers told me it was only for 4 hours. They were going to rent it. I rented it for a week. For this reason, I will take my business away from this location, shortly. professionals to work.note: my rating is for the managers of the place and the rental department who worked yesterday

Overall I usually really like Home Depot. However today went very very badly. I rented a large jackhammer made it home to only find out the attachments will not work with it. Went back to the store spoke with the employees they gave me another attachment, however yet again it does not work with that machine. Third time back at Home Depot today they said they don’t have the correct attachments for the large jackhammer so I have to rent a smaller jackhammer. The manager was very rude and said “that’s fine” I have to charge you another deposit. I already paid the $350 deposit for the large one and then had to pay another $200 deposit for the smaller one. Refused to give me the first one free even though I was unable to use it. They chose to charge me for 4 hours and will refund me a small portion of the $350 original deposit. The male manager at the Preston Home Depot was extremely rude, the other employees that work in the rental department have been absolutely wonderful. Because of Home Depot mistakes I have lost money and most of the daylight to complete my project. You need to work on customer service with your Manger and work on ensuring the equipment has the proper attachments. This should have been checked prior to renting it.

Hone depot is the place for all your lumber needs all building materials. I have taken Home Depot as my store for any needs during the renovation of a mobile home. U get waited on and it is pleasant experience. I have had good experiences and merchandise is always available. No waiting and no complaints from me. It's not the best home depot nor is it the worst. It works in a pinch but if you have more unique needs you'll either have to special order and have it shipped to this location or go to another one much further out.Bear in mind though, if you use Verizon as your cell carrier, you will not have a signal in this store. You most likely won't have it in the parking lot. Heck, you won't have it in this stretch of Preston Highway at all. BUT! This store uses an AT&T guest wifi system that is free to connect to without filling any info out.
