I can't express enough appreciation for the professionalism and expertise of the team at The Fire Place. From the initial estimate to the final inspection, they demonstrated a level of care and attention to detail that surpassed my expectations.Initially, I approached The Fire Place to convert my wood-burning fireplace to gas. They promptly visited my home, provided a thorough estimate, and scheduled the installation. However, during the final review before installation, they discovered a significant safety concern with the way my fireplace was originally built by the builders, whether it is used as wood burning or would be converted to gas. While initially upset, I am immensely grateful for their diligence in uncovering this issue before any harm could occur.Though my plans to convert the fireplace were disrupted, I am thankful to David, Damon, Austin and Christian of The Fire Place for prioritizing safety above all else. Better price than other estimate. James and Chase are great guys- they are professional, friendly, polite and easy to talk to. They know their trade and convey it in a very easy to understand way. Great company! A bird got stuck in the flue of our gas fireplace. Avery came out an hour after we called, expertly dismantled the upper part of the fireplace, removed the bird and set him free outside in record time. Great job! We are very grateful! Thank you!

I was seriously looking for a pellet smoker and began talking to a salesman when he interrupted our conversation and answered his phone to talk to ANOTHER customer.. Yesterday, I walked into the store and several people (including at least two salesman/owner) were sitting and it seemed a bother for them to get up and ask if they could help. If it were my business and I saw someone come in the door I would have IMMEDIATELY met them at the door. Don’t plan on visiting this store again

Great experience by the team. Had an older unit that never worked called and got a new unit estimated for my space which was very reasonably priced . They coordinated the install around my schedule even calling me 20 minutes out so I didn’t have to wait around all day for someone. Expert installation with very friendly and knowledgeable guys. Went the extra mile making sure I was extremely satisfied before they left. No one else will work on my fireplace but these guys. A+!

We thought our old gas logs were beyond repair, but Jeff came out and worked his magic and cleaned them up and fix them so they look brand new and work better than ever! Fantastic job at a fantastic price! We will definitely be calling them again next year to come sort out our fireplace for the winter!

Edit: the manager reached out to me and apologized and offered to send a technician out to my house. I changed my review from 1 star to 3. Mistakes can happen although I’m still not very clear on what happened. They had all of my information from when I visited the store. At least they reached out and apologized.Waste of time. I called to make sure someone would be available to discuss before I drove all of the way out there and was assured there would be. I had to wait over 1/2 hour because the clerk was waiting on another customer. This wouldn’t have been an issue had my trip not been such a waste of time. When I arrived I was told they can’t provide any pricing in store, that I would have to leave my information and someone would get in touch with me. Seemed unusual but gave my info. I asked if I could feel how strong the blower was on the model I was interested in. She said she didn’t have a battery for the remote. I then asked if I could see the blower from another fireplace to see how strong it was. She was able to start the fireplace but not the blower. I have never heard from anyone and it’s been about a month. Like I said , a total waste of my time. It’s a pretty long drive.

I used The Fire Place to service our gas logs. Our logs are fairly old and we hadn't used them in awhile. I contacted The Fire Place and worked with Susan, over the phone, to schedule (who offered wonderful customer service from start to finish). David was the The Fire Place expert sent to our home. David was professional and knowledgable of our system. The logs looked brand new when David left our home. Lastly, David came back to our home for a second visit to answer a few more questions about how to work our older model of logs. I recommend The Fire Place and look forward to working with them if I need fire place services again. Overall... customer service was impeccable!!!

All around great experience. They had the earliest appointment date of the 3 places I called. They gave a 3 hour window on the date and showed up exactly at the earliest possible time in the window. James was very knowledgeable and diagnosed the issue within 10 minutes, explained the best way to fix it (most cost effective), and was on his way. From the initial inspection by Chase, the coordination between Nick and David regarding the product selection for our application, and the installation by Justin, Jacob, and David – we are thrilled with our new fireplace. I would rate them zero! They sent out a technician to service my fireplace and he couldn’t light the pilot! Recommend I call a plumber to fix the gas line. The plumber lit the pilot with no problem from the gas line. The Fire Place company graciously (sarcasm intended) didn’t charge me but now I am left with a $230 plumbing bill and a fireplace that still hasn’t been serviced.

Chase and James did a fantastic job on my fireplaces. One had a major issue that they repaired perfectly and the other just needed cleaning and service. They were both polite and helpful, answering all my questions and they didn't leave a speck of dirt in my home. They will be my "go to" fireplace service company from now on. Missy, the office scheduler got me an appointment right away, kept in touch and was extremely helpful and friendly as well. I was very pleased with my service!

We were very impressed with their service. They were knowledgeable, and professional. We called to have our chimney cleaned and our dryer vent cleaned. After a thorough inspection, we were told our chimney was in good shape and didn’t need a full cleaning, and had likely never been used by previous homeowners. We appreciated the honesty! Our dryer vent was a different story, and i was pleased with the amount of time that was spent making sure it was completely cleaned out, especially seeing the before and after comparison. Throughout both services, our home was kept very clean. We will definitely call again in the future and highly recommend!

Our Wood-burning stove and the ambiance of a fire is the central point of our greatroom, but we had serious damage from a tornado that ripped off our chimney cap, tore up some internal piping, and dropped a lot of water on our wood-burning stove (giving opportunity to start some rust and screw up electrical connections). David at Crestwood Home & Hearth was immediately responsive, coming a few hour after the tornado and covering the destroyed areas to prevent future damage. He provided options for solving the issues based on our needs, and gave some suggestions that should have been made by our original installer (different company, who did a terrible job of responding to service requests).The repairs were done very quickly, and the cost was exactly in line with the estimate.Given our exceptional experience, I ordered a second wood burning stove from them for our basement, and used them to service the upstairs stove for seasonal maintenance. Every interaction has been as positive as the first. This has led me to give his contact info out to others in the area and recommend the company without hesitation. If you need help in any of their areas of expertise, I would strongly suggest contacting them.David and team - Thank you for being customer-centric. I was in the market for a new pellet grill and narrowed it down to two manufacturers and contacted one of them in Texas. They told me to call The Fire Place in Louisville because they had just received a shipment of grills. I received a call from the owner the next day and we sat up a time for him to show me their new line of grills even though their store wasn't officially open. I ended up buying one and couldn't be happier with the grill and the service. There was a problem with the grill that turned out to be operator error and Rick helped me work through the issue and was always available to help.I would highly recommend The Fire Place if you are in the market for a new grill, Rick and his team are great to work with.Thanks Rick!

David and Jack did a wonderful job on our new home. Turns out the chimney did not need to be swept, but there were potential sealing issues and small preventative repairs that will help us tenfold down the road and when we are ready to sell. Very much appreciated how easy it was to communicate, schedule, and have them in our home. Our home is a zoo with a new puppy, our overly friendly cat, and a tiny human- but they didn’t miss a beat! It was like having old friends over who just so happened to be able to make us feel safer in our new home and take care of some things that would have cost us mega dollars down the road. I appreciated how easy it was to set up with them and that they took photos to visually show me and explain something which I otherwise would have had no idea about.We had such a great experience that the little one and puppy insisted on going to the driveway and seeing them off! What a great thing to make something on the household to do list easy, affordable, and not disruptive in the least to our family’s already crazy days. Thank you! 11/10 recommend.
