I called to get my dog in and they were able to get him in less than a week!! Which is a huge deal considering we were new and we are moving to a new house in a week and my dog sheds like crazy so we needed to de shed him. I am not sure why some people say they are over priced, they are actually priced fairly for the jobs they do. My dog looks amazing, smells amazing, and I can tell he had a great time. I used to groom my dog on my own and me not being a professional I did not do it the proper way for his coat. So I have damaged it and they are going to slowly get it back in shape for me and even recommended a better brush than what I have! They are great and we will be coming back.

This is our second time visiting this see spot grooming location. The first time, unfortunately, our little fella had to get a de-matting treatment. I can’t remember the name of the woman who groomed our toy poodle, but she did a wonderful job. The second time, we were able to get a walk-in appointment with one of their groomers, named Ashley. She also did a wonderful job on our Bam Bam! Will definitely be returning.

Took my dog to See Spot Grooming. I got in the day after I called. They asked about my dogs breed, size and hair. I shave my lab so his hair is buzzed but i don’t like to cut his nails. After I brought him there i was told it was be $20 more than quoted. She just told me he is a big dog. I told the lady on the phone all his details so not sure why it would be more. Then when i picked him up there were 4 dogs in the waiting area. I didn’t get a chance to sniff him or check out the job very well. Now at home, he doesn’t smell that great. No dog cologne or a cute bandannas on his neck. His ears smell bad too. Dint think they were cleaned. I think I’ll wash him myself or use the mobile grooming i usually use since this was the least improved after a bath I’ve ever noticed after a dog wash. The nails are cut pretty crude and rough. Just a bit disappointed at the experience.

Ashley is the best. We are so lucky to have found her. Not everyone knows how to groom a full size doodle. They either look like a poodle or get shaved. Our girl has been coming home looking like an angel, long eye lashes and just so soft. Her nails are not sharp at all. She looks beautiful and gets so many compliments! Worth every penny!

Tillie has been twice and has been very well taken care of. She doesn’t sit all day in a crate waiting to be groomed like some places. Dropped her off at 10:30 and she was done at 1:15.The entire staff is so nice and accommodating. I love that you can see in to the shop and see the dogs getting groomed.

I have always been satisfied with the service from See Spot Grooming every time I have taken my small Pom-Chi dog to them to be bathed and groomed. I have taken my pup to the Lime Kiln Lane and Prospect locations, with service from various groomers. The employees are very friendly and personable with both pets and pet parents. They offer a selection of grooming packages to choose from, along with separate services that can be purchased a-la-cart. The prices are very reasonable and comparable to nearby pet groomers.

I really don’t recommend this place at all. This was my first appointment with them and it will be my last. They asked me to bring my dog in a tad early since their system pre scheduled him as a smaller breed and they would need more time due to his size. He’s a golden doodle that weighs 70lbs so I agreed. Once I got there the groomer just seemed frustrated that I was there early and said they would normally charge a fee for showing up early. I explained this is what they asked for over the phone the day prior. She never asked what I was looking to get done just went ahead and told me how she was going to groom him. I then offered my wishes to which she replied it wasn’t possible. Then told me the price would be $115. Given that he’s a golden doodle he mats his hair pretty easily so I was prepared to shave him but not once did she ask what I was looking for out of the cut. Maybe she was having a bad day or whatever but I at least hoped the cut would have been better.

We tried SeeSpot when our dog was a puppy and ultimately decided to switch based on the scrutiny we continued to receive from staff about our dog being “difficult” and going back and forth of being told we needed to book with a behavioral groomer. We had since been taking our dog to Petsmart with no issues. Unable to get into our normal Petsmart and our dog desperately needing groomed due me to having a baby (5 day newborn), we decided to give SeeSpot another try since our dog is now older (almost 2) hoping not to have the same issues. My husband was immediately approached by staff saying based on his history in his chart, they aren’t sure they would be able to groom him. That we might have to come pick him back up and book another day with a behavioral groomer, even though he hasn’t been there in over a year. They did end up grooming him, but during pick up told us we would need to get back on behavioral groomer plan if we continued to use their services. I do not like the conversation approach that was used. Our dogs grooming was truly 1/5 stars. His mouth is still dirty, not even clean. His tail is completely shaved (not what we asked for). We asked for feedback on his behavior and they said he didn’t like his front paws being touched. We will not be using SeeSpot again.

My little girl is a Norfolk Terrier and requires hand stripping, which is not offered at most groomers. This was our first visit to See Spot and Natalya did a wonderful job! We will definitely be back to see her, as well as recommend her services.

Normally this place did a decent job, however, this time they didn’t finish the groom or listen to client request. My pet acted weird once I brought my pet in the place. My pet never acted this way before and asked the lady at front if my pet will be okay here. She noted some pets act nervous and will be okay. I left providing instructions, please call if anything went wrong. They worked on him and called me saying my pet was done and ready for pick up like normal. When I got their they then informed me they didn’t finish some part of the grooming and I could try scheduling again with a behavioral specialist at an extra cost. My pet looked worse than when I left my pet. And I ended up having to pay for the unfinished job. This is an expensive place and stayed because they usually did a good job. So I was taken back by his unfinished groom and the way they handled the customer service when a client was unhappy. This would have been a different review if they had been more honest on the phone per my request and listen to my concerns of my dog instead pushing forward to the next job.

Our 5 month old sheepadoodle just got groomed at See Spot on Lime Kiln Lane and they did a fantastic job! Nikki was so knowledgeable and so helpful. She answered all my questions and I left knowing our fur baby was in the best hands. Our pup had been groomed twice before at Pet Smart and there is no comparison. I'm so glad to have found such a wonderful and local place to take our pup.

The St. Matthews location is a great facility with friendly staff. After having my Golden Doodle groomed in December at the Lime Kiln location I want sure I would go back. The person that had done my dog at Lime Kiln before I found out had been transferred to the St Matthews location but that they were able to groom my golden doodle with no problem. Well they were not able to. After 5 hours of my rig being there he looked awful when I picked him up. I told Linda the groomer that it looked as if his legs had not even been touched and his face still looked scruffy. She said she used the same blade all over his body but it appeared that only his back and sides had been fine. When I took him in they asked if I wanted nose shaved. I said yes, however they shaved it all the way to the white of his skin and didn't clip the sides of his nose or chin. She offered to take him to the back and I said no because he has already been here 5 hours. After getting home i really examined him and then took pictures. I did who ahead and schedule another appointment for today however when it came close to time to go I called St. Matthews and explained my dis satisfaction with Lime Kiln that I wanted to see if Allie (who did him the first time and did awesome) was available. I found out she got transferred to another location but she had trained a girl named Brittany and she would do a good job. So today I went to St. Matthews location and Brittany met me and Bentley. She remembered him as she helped Ally the first time. She listened to everything I wanted done and said it would be 3-4 hours. Well I got a call 2.5 hours later and when I picked Bentley up he was PERFECTLY GROOMED! ! Everything I asked for was great and he looked wonderful. THANK YOU BRITTANY!! You are a jewel and we definitely continue to schedule with her. If you have a Golden Doodle that needs to be groomed- call Brittany. And thank you Ally for training her so well. You 2 ladies are a true asset to See Spot!

We brought our Airedale in for a full grooming session including a nail grind as well. The establishment was very clean and the ladies we spoke with were very nice. Everything they said they were going to do they did and more. I’m so happy with brought her to See Spot and will be returning.

I have used both the lime Kline facility and Prospect. Each place was appealing to the eye, plus had friendly and knowledgeable staff. My dogs always recognize when we get close and get quite excited. They LOVE going there! I know they are in good hands. I highly recommend See Spot as a place for grooming or day care.

As always, See Spot did a fabulous job grooming the dogs. This time I took both dogs and both cats in to be groomed. One cat gets groomed regularly and I know he actually enjoys it. I was a little nervous though because the second cat almost never gets groomed and had done something to get himself a bit matted up. I am not sure if I was more more anxious for the groomer or the cat but I did not think things would go well. Apparently, I worried over nothing. All of the animals came home happy and beautifully groomed. The cat groomers even made a point of coming out to tell me wonderful and well behaved my cats were. I would highly recommend See Spot pet grooming at both locations!

I took both of my Tony Puddles to See Spot Grooming last week. They did an excellent job. Both of my dogs looks fabulous! And best of all, they were done in 3 hrs. Friendly staff and a clean facility. I highly recommend them !

Linda and Rachel are amazing! Then i took my dogs back visit #2....i got charged full price and one dog didn't get a full haircut. He is a rescue and needed some TLC and were handed back the dog with barely anything cut in his head. Only concern was getting my money and closing ON TIME! This place is extremely expensive, i had 2 dog and a haircut and a half. Nice place & people but lack good consumer service. He was a rescue and abused. They knew that going in. I wasnt trying to get anything for FREE i just needed someone to not rush him down an assembly line. Take the time. People are paying high $$$. Especially when u have "spa services" if i wanted a basic grooming experience we would have went somewhere CHEAP!! i said from the beginning he is a rescue. He was abused why was that such a hard concept in your "spa" ????

I will start out by saying that the first two times I brought my dog in Shelby did a great job. Very kind and friendly. Our most recent visit was much different. I brought her in on Thursday February 9th. When I picked her up she was too excited and I didn't have a chance to look her over throughly. When we got home I realized that half of her face was not trimmed at all or was very uneven. I called and was told to bring her back in. My schedule didn't allow me to bring her back within the time frame. 6 days has passed and now I can really see how uneven and incomplete of a job was done. She already needs to be groomed again. ALSO I would never leave my dog at this locations daycare. The poor dogs were shaking and pacing, looked miserable. Very disappointed I thought we had found a great groomer.Edit: They were nice called and offered to cut Matty again, I declined.

I am only reviewing the daycare services, and not grooming as I have not used them. Before starting daycare at See Spot, my dog was a vivacious, outgoing Aussie who loved to play and loved making friends at the dog park. She's an Aussie - super high energy and in need of an outlet beyond walks and trips to the dog park, so the obvious answer is daycare, right? We used another daycare in town prior to See Spot that had a lot of room and several different areas for dogs based on size and activity level, but I switched to See Spot based on reviews and proximity to a new job. She was so excited when we went to her original daycare that she'd poop every time we entered the lobby. It took me a while to figure out what was going on, but after her first couple of sessions at See Spot, she started getting destructive at home. It was during the winter, so we tended to use daycare instead of the dog park and I was unable to monitor her interactions with other dogs.My favorite part of See Spot was the ability to watch the dogs playing through the window. One day I pulled up and I couldn't find her. The attendant explained that she'd been rowdy and so they'd crated her. I didn't think anything of it, but after a few visits, it was clear she was being crated a LOT. I understand the need to protect other dogs, but bringing her out and bringing her to a calmer place individually is much different from putting her in a crate and leaving her to calm down on her own. I've tried to make her crate a safe space, and never used it as punishment, so this upset me after a few visits. The last straw was the day I showed up and she was whining and yelping. The person at the desk explained she'd been acting that way all day, and asked if we'd moved or had any changes, and when I said nothing was out of the ordinary, they blamed her anxiety on me.This was about a year ago, and she has gained weight because she'll no longer play with other dogs as exercise at the dog park. She stays under my feet rather than playing with other dogs, and is fearful of other dogs in the family that she wasn't afraid of before her experience at this daycare. We're in reactivity training because she now gets extremely agitated at the sight of another dog. She remains destructive if I leave her out while I'm gone - which was never an issue before. I don't know exactly what See Spot did, but my dog has not been the same since using their daycare services, and I absolutely would not recommend them. I would also add that their facility is very small and does not provide much room for the dogs to run and play, which is probably what contributed to them crating my dog.I'm adding an additional star because the location was convenient, the staff was very friendly, and pricing was very fair.

See Spot staff were so wonderful! They were very organized, friendly, and were nice enough to fit our grooming appointment in that day after I scheduled at the wrong location. Our dog, Mingo, left happy, fluffy, and smelling so good!
