Love the smoothie bar, fresh local produce, overall selection and pleasant staff. Becoming more of a regular preferring RB over Whole Foods these days.

The staff and management of Rainbow Blossom's Saint Matthews store have been a life-saver for me and my family since the lock-down. Literally. Top-quality products, outstanding customer service and fair prices.Rainbow Blossom has made me a loyal customer for life...and I heartily recommend it!November 22, 2023 PS:When I asked the cashier for the Thanksgiving store hours, she told me and then added...I love to work! This speaks volumes to me. About RB's culture. Its customer service experience and more!

High quality local health food. A little pricey for some thing but you get what you pay for. I'd much rather know where my food is coming from than not. Plus they're the only place I know that sells my favorite energy drink.

Biggest rainbow blossom in the Louisville area. Fairly good selection of quality, organic foods, etc.The employees running the juice bar however, lack customer service skills.

I love going to Rainbow Blossom and seeing all the local stuff they carry. Though I would like to see them do more to compete against Whole Foods' hot bar and other fresh, prepped offerings. Went to RB looking for an omnivore's lunch today and all I saw was a not very appealing chicken salad sandwich.

Great selection, good customer service, lots of variety. Somewhat expensive, but definitely the flagship location for the area. Natural everything you can imagine, and some stuff you haven't heard of. Taste the rainbow.

The merchandise is good but the employees are hit or miss. I went in today 8/27/2022, and politely asked where I should take my milk bottles for return deposit. The clerk replied that she “didn’t care.” Then she mumbled that she could “do it either place.” I then responded in kind that “l didn’t care either.” And that I “just wanted to know the right way to do things.” Geesh. Rude for no reason. This was an adult fyi. But the merchandise is good and many of the employees are nice.

In my experience, this chain’s service is hit or miss. I’ve never been greeted warmly, welcomed back or experienced genuine conversation with employees. I’ve shopped two Louisville locations for years and the customer service has been consistently disappointing for the prices charged. Product offerings are always great but the human engagement component leaves something to be desired.

This store is convenient and well organized. The products they provide are excellent. Yes you pay more for organic, that is a thing everywhere, but even still their prices aren’t ridiculous. One of my favorite things they have is milk that you buy in a glass container (you put a deposit down for the container for the first time then get it back when you return it).

Wonderful selection of organic products. It holds the feel of a small town store with a knowledgeable and friendly staff. Sometimes you will pay more here than the national stores, and while we love to support local stores, sometimes your financial realities make that decision for you. Still, Rainbow Blossom is worth the trip. They usually have items you just can't find anywhere else!

Great selection. Pricey, but probably because it's local! Vegan/vegetarian friendly with good produce and a nice bulk foods section. Run sales on various foods/drinks frequently and have an extensive supplement/vitamin supply. They also carry non-traditional grocery store products such as crystals, jewelry, and essential oils, which I enjoy.

I was so grateful to Rainbow Blossom when living in Lou. They carry excellent and affordable natural products, not to mention their commitment to providing the community with wonderful local produce + options. Long live the locavore.

Love this store, however, yesterday, the "KID" that checked me out had absolutely no customer service skills, he was talking to another clerk, who was just standing there behind him the entire time he was checking me out, and my daughter was behind me in line, did the same thing with her, together we spent 150.00. I go here a few times a year to buy the oils, soaps and spray oil scents I like....this was a first time experience with bad customer service, in Louisville ky on Lexington rd.

I love Rainbow Blossom. I mainly go to the one in the Gardiner Lane Shopping Center. They even carry vegan cruelty free makeup. They also generously donated a gift basket for the rescue I volunteer with, Tyson's Chance Animal Foundation's Canines and Wine fundraiser. They have something for everyone.

Always friendly & knowledgeable about their products. Great selection of local products & food. Perfect for vegans & meat eaters. Something for everyone. Prices better than Whole Paycheck. Wonderful locally owned business that supports the community.

It was a neat store but there juice bar is another story. I drank a strawberry sunrise smoothie and after 20 minutes started sweating then I threw up in the parking lot behind my car I'll never buy a 10 dollar smoothie like that again

,, love this place! I go there ever Tuesday before therapy and get myself a wonderful snack that is healthy with no fat or calories. Amongst other things they have fresh beautiful organic veggies and fruits wonderful drinks even a CBD drink that I love and works very well. They do sell CBD products they also sell herbal supplements and they even have a fresh juicer on staff. Should visit this place if your hippie or Health Net! It is beautiful and the staff is super friendly which I think is very important to any working environment great customer service is key! They also have a customer rewards program.

Great selection on food. I've just never had a pleasant experience with one of the cashiers "what do you have" in a rude tone of voice is typically her introduction. Honestly it's fairly disheartening knowing such a great experience is wasted just by that. 4 stars because of this.

I feel like Rainbow Blossom is selling out to corporations, what we who would be attracted to blossom in the first place. The produce looks great at this location but, I've noticed they don't sell the real silver biotics anymore... i hope I'm wrong

I’ve never been to rainbow blossom, decided to go today, and check it out. It was good until, I had a question to which I brought up to a cashier on the pricing of an item. (Henrietta) She in turn was rude, and not helpful, I was only met with a condensing tone from her. Save yourselves from a bad experience and don’t go to this store.

Well stocked produce section with a great variety of items. Help desk in the back is great too. A seasonal farmer's market on site in St. Matthews. They have everything you could want or need. If not they'll order it or find it at one of their other stores -- with a smile! I've been shopping st Rainbow Blossom since it first opened in the 70s.

I like the idea of rainbow blossom and the events you guys putt on that bring local farmers together are good things for the community and promoting health lifestyles. But every customer experience I have had at this location has been not great. Every time I've been in the actual store the clerk there seemed completely disinterested in taking my money or just not being pleasant at all. I felt like he was mad I was there buying things almost like he felt I wasn't worthy to shop there. I know that sounds sort of ridiculous but that is what I got from that. Second thing was I calling around town to find a good price on protein powder. I called up your locations because I know you guys carried some and I wanted a powder without much sugar and not full or processed junk. Anyways whomever answered the phone was not terribly helpful. He told me what had but I could hear the groaning behind his voice. I then asked what sizes he had because I would rather buy in bulk since its obviously cheaper. Then he proceed to tell me in an arrogant manner that "we do not cater to that gym lifestyle"... Just trying to supplement my diet and its cheaper/ quicker than preparing chicken or beans and so on..

Employees were friendly, but other patrons were not very courteous about keeping their distance. The place smelled like rotting / mildewing in refrigerated section that was permeating the store. No, it was not the pungent but delightful scent of kimchi - this was offensive, and I could not stand near the cold cases bc the exhaust air was blowing the spores( ?) into my face.Everything was so overpriced - even the sale stuff. I looked around the entire store, expecting to but a few things, but I balked at the overblown prices and especially the poor quality of so many products. Maybe i was caught off-guard by the smell, and it made me think everything should be discounted, but i feel certain the Gardiner Lane location was cheaper - especially the sales that were for better products (subjective opinions, here) and better discounts (not subjective).

Like all specialty health food stores, they don't carry EVERY single product, BUT, if you have something specific in mind you can't find (like me, when I travel to Louisville and always forget something!!), they ALWAYS know how to connect you with the best match of ingredients. I have never had one problem there out of many years shopping.Plus, their produce section can't be beat!!!
