My dog always comes home smelling good, nails look good and he’s groomed well. Only thing I can complain about this time is my dog had a red ring around his neck where the leash was so tight around his neck on the table. He has a rash from it.

I absolutely love JOEL !! He is my Bash's groomer and does an awesome job.We have been with Joel since Bash was a pup and now 2yrs. old.Bash is a spoiled Goldendoodle and Joel maintains him beautifully.He is pretty much on a routine twenty-eight day grooming schedule.Bash has a little "separation anxiety" but Joel knows how to soothe and calm him.He relaxes and walks him back.

I called and asked if they had anyone available to trim my dog's nails. They said yes, so I went over to the store. My dog is a doxie/beagle mix and weighs 25lbs. I paid 20 dollars for a clip and nail buff. He somewhat received a clip, but no buff, and they did not even attempt to clip his dewclaws on the front. If you do not have qualified groomers on staff when a customer calls to make an appointment - Don't make an appointment just to make 20 bucks.I did not get what I paid for at all. I will not be back.

Dog was cut short and uneven called customer service and was not happy with the answer I was given. Was told that they would look into it and call me back. Going to look for a different salon because they keep raising their prices. Petco raised their prices three times maybe 4 in 2023.

I really appreciated the groomer contacted me about coming in before my scheduled appointment.My pet looked and smelled very good. He had an oatmeal shampoo and milk conditioner. Unfortunately, the scratching hasn't stopped.

My dog has been going here since he was a puppy and I never had any issues getting him groomed until now. The groomer knows him and knows that I have to put their leash on him or he will snap at her. She decided today that she was going to do it and he snapped at her and then she refused to accept him. She even acknowledged that I’ve always put the leash on him in the past but it’s now suddenly against Petco policy to do so. I think she just didn’t want to groom him today and she knew it was an easy way out. I have no problems with Petco having a policy but I do have a problem with the groomers ignoring the policy for years and then suddenly it’s an issue today.

The grooms for my dogs were exactly what I wanted. Everyone was very nice to me and to my dogs.I have changed my opinion of Petco grooming 100%. I made appointments for my dogs almost a year ago, but when I arrived, I was told that their grooming appointments had been cancelled due to the COVID panic. I was told that a message was left for me on my voicemail. That was a complete lie. I showed them my phone and there was no call or message from Petco. I could understand the mistake they made, but actually argued with me about even after I showed them my phone and no messages from them were on it. I’ll never go there again. They were rude and disrespectful to me.

So I had scheduled an appointment about two months ago because getting any kind of grooming during the pandemic has been hard. I have a 7 pound 16 week old puppy that is up to date on all her shots. The few days leading up to her appointment I get like 5 emails from petco asking me to confirm her appointment and to go over the details (location, time) etc only for the groomer to refuse service to my dog because she couldn’t sit still for 30 seconds. I asked the groomer if they had a harness like most places and they did not. What it really comes down to is that no puppy is going to be perfectly still all the time. I strongly think the groomer just didn’t want to cut her hair. I will not be going back to petco for anything and with it being my first time going I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. Again I had this planned for two months to have them turn away my dog that obviously needed to be groomed. Unprofessional dude who should honestly probably just get another job since he got punked out by a seven pound puppy.

I wish I had ask the name of the two girls working today in the grooming department, Hurstbourne location. I took my anxious dog in to get his nails clipped and they were SO sweet with him. Talking to him/petting him. I could not have had a better first experience! :)

This was our first time using Petco's grooming service. Our dogs were scheduled for Thursday, December 5th and we got the day confused. We showed up on Friday, December 6th. They still allowed our dogs to get bathed and groomed even though they had to work them in. I was very satisfied with the overall service and courtesy of the grooming staff. We have already scheduled our next appointment.
