I stopped going to this Kroger years ago. I was close by so I went here instead of my usual locations. They were low on stock. Only saw one person with a restock cart. They have two banks of self checks but only one was open because the cashier could only watch the one. The upside was seeing a worker I hadn't seen in years. I will be going to my usual spots or utilize delivery. I will not come back to this location again.

Absolutely disrespectful staff. Sales stickers up past expiration date. Long wait times for service at seafood counter then at checkout line. Over crowding do to no check lanes open and mixture of frustrated customers creating very negative environment.

Kroger is great. The customers in the area are awful. It is in the ghetto. People destroy the food. They eat food and consume drinks, then dump the remains in the store. They load up carts with expensive meats, laundry products, and other goods and push the carts straight out of the store. Shops, stores, and restaurants leave the west side of Louisville because of the losses they encounter. The people have to change if they want a better community.

They seem to have gotten better with open cashiers and customer service but today was sad. 2 express lanes and one lane for anything over 15 items and there were probably 15 people including myself in that line.

I Usually love going to my neighborhood Kroger. But yesterday was different for me! The managers were so rude to me that by the time I left I was nearly in tears ! And TBH I wouldn't recommend that Kroger on 27th and Broadway....

Helpful staff.This Kroger has a police hub in it. Prices are higher then I'm use to.Its a clean store with plenty of places to park. It is handicapped accessible.

They rarely change the price on items that are going to expire the next day. Always check the expiration dates because I’ve encountered buying things after they’ve expired

Omg, where do I start? As a resident of Western Louisville, this is the closest Kroger left within the area - so for that fact, I've given it an extra a star - because we have at least this Kroger left!Generally, when I have to go to the store, my overall emotions are dread, frustration and an anticipation of any sort of chaos.The stock, is obviously mediocre at best - if the product is actually available. The U-Scans are very seldom available to use or the lanes are severely limited. I never see anyone in the customer service section and more than anything, the panhandlers who openly roam the parking lots and front of the store make it an all the way around unattractive place to just even be!Going to the store is always an unpleasant and stressful adventure. While I'd generally suggest that most avoid it, many of us can't or it is just inconvenient.

They didn't have nothing on the shelves, their workers was walking around like they was shopping. It was about 20 of us standing in one line they had opening. That Kroger's is horrible. I put my stuff down and walk out.

It's interesting to me that they can pay 50 people to harass you every 5 seconds in the self-checkout but can't pay anyone to restock the shelves

Can someone please let me know when the Customer Service department is open? I have tried for two days straight to exchange cheese that I purchased and it's expired. With gas over $4 a gallon it's not fair to the customers to make multiple trips and the only answer you get is "I'm off the clock, We might be open tomorrow. It's 1pm. Really! Oh and they don't answer the phone so that's not an option.

This is the most ghetto Kroger in Louisville. They don't even open until 8 am, meanwhile the others open at 7. Just laziness here. Every time I come the customer service area is closed no matter what time of day. The staff never has an explanation or can ever tell me when they're opening. There are bums outside begging for money and the parking lot is filthy.

Employee at the Kroger's on 27th and Broadway almost hit my 10-year-old baby girl with a car. This lady was so close to us I actually banged on her car to get her to stop and she's looking me dead in my eyes and still driving not stopping you know she can see my daughter. I go to speak to a manager for him to say since she was in her car she was off the clock. If she has your best on decision an employee of Kroger's and she's in your parking lot y'all are responsible. And customer service offers me a $10Gift card for almost hitting my child with a car. I would never shop with your company again

The selection isn't great and you're likely to be waiting in line forever due to only having a couple self-checkouts open and maybe one cashier. On top of that, you're lucky if you can get in and out without either being harassed by Spectrum employees who refuse to take no for an answer, or running into at least one panhandler begging for money.There are far better Krogers nearby. Just go to the one in New Albany. It's a little further, but a few extra miles is well worth not dealing with this place.

My review is 5 stars for one reason... I've worked with the staff here several times. They are the friendliest and most helpful I have encountered. Now, outside the store, there is zero enforcement of laws, regulations, rules, or norms. This is not the fault of Kroger. The police are stationed at this store. They do very little.

Went to the Kroger's at 28th and Broadway yesterday. Needed some ice, the Freezer for the ice was disgusting. On the side were the large bags of ice would had been had frozen over dirty ice at the bottom of the freezer. They need to clean out the entire freezer ASAP.

Staff has always been nice to me. I know where most of the items are placed, so even when things get moved around I don't feel too lost and someone will always guide me in the right direction....Northwest dark sweet cherries were on sale today, at $1.99 a pound with customer's rewards card. I'm in heaven!!

This Kroger may be small, but they’re always well staffed and everyone is very kind. I usually do the surveys that print at the bottom of receipts, but I didn’t get one today so I still wanted to acknowledge my good experience. The man in the meat department went above and beyond to get me what I needed and I found everything else quite easily.This is also the Kroger where I got my covid booster last year and they got me in and out quickly and are very nice then too.I live out closer to Oldham county so am not at this store a lot, but I consistently have good experiences when I do get over here.

Went to the store and the cashier was supposed to take off two items for me because they were not the ones on sale. When I got home, i noticed on my receipt that i was still charged for them. I contacted the store and asked to speak to a manager but waited 45 minutes on phone. Was told no manager was available. I went back to the store and waited at the customer service desk but no manager ever come. I left and called customer service to inform them of the issue and was told it was a store issue and I would have to contact them. Still have not heard from the manager. Will never shop at this Keoger again.

If I could give a lower rating I truly would. I went to three different Kroger and each one had the worst customer service I had ever dealt with in my 45 years. Only having one person to work the customer service desk on a Friday is beyond me there were seven people in line at the first Kroger I went to because I didn't have time to wait I had to go to a different Kroger. This Kroger also only had one person working customer service and five to six people in line. not only are they understaffed the ones they do have are rude and do not know what the meaning of customer service is.
